10/24 219.6 Walked 3 miles this evening, tracked, AF. Long car drive returning from the camp. Yesterday I felt like I’m back in sync with following my better habits and plans I started in August. Still in the teens but really sorry to not see the 218 on the scale that I saw earlier in the week before the camp. I know why given my choices at the camp. It’s in the past … moving on.

10/27 219.0 🎂🥳 60 years young! Walked 4 miles, tracked everything, 2 glasses of wine. This bounce up is disappointing! I was in a funk and felt hungry which led to many different snacks in the afternoon.

10/27: 280.6 (-2 lbs) ⬇️ Now this is more like it. 😃 Everything is looking good so far, and I hope it continues that way. Since I've already reached my goal for this round (282 lbs) I've decided not to set another goal, but see where it goes from here.
10/28: 280.4 (-0.2) ⬇️ Still a loss and I'll take it over a gain anytime. I'm getting a new scale today and I hope it shows the same weight or less, then my old scale. There's always a little uneasiness with getting a new one, because you wonder if the old one was giving you the correct weight. I'll know for sure when I weigh in the morning. Keep your fingers 🤞crossed. Lol 😅

10/24 174.2 I made it to the overweight range on the BMI chart! When I get to my first goal of 160 lbs I plan on reevaluating it and deciding how much more I want to lose. Honestly I never thought I would get this far. Happy to say I've stuck to it and I don't plan on stopping!
10/25 174.6 I have an abscessed tooth. I cant get into a dentist until tomorrow and this is the most pain I've ever been in. I can handle a lot of pain but when it comes to my teeth I am the world's biggest baby. The only thing I ate yesterday was mac n cheese. Probably a bump bc of the carbs? Idk. I'm not worried about calories til this thing gets fixed lol.

10/24 198.4 yesterday was difficult very sluggish Friday. Plus one of my niece's is some serious trouble. Never good to read it in the news...Anyways 8 and hours of workout this week 727 zone minutes almost 18000 steps today. Results showed earlier in the week but now show a minimum change.. Eating steak late tonight. Went to a restaurant and sat down and ran out the door. Eeeeewwwww! You really don't want to know what I saw!

Chilly morning but clear, so I’m off for a walk in a few minutes. DH made “ravioli lasagna” on Fri — good, but high cal/fat and one 8x8 pan lasts us 3 meals — last one tonight, then I’m going for less dense food for the rest of the week. I have been eating salads for lunch, though, so there’s that. 🙂 Aiming to get my weekly calorie average well below guesstimated TDEE of 1580, assuming sedentary life, and to increase my activity level. I’m thinking of buying a stationary bike — anyone have any recommendations for a decent not-too-pricey bike?

I have to stop surfing news stories and eating my resultant emotions. I’m considering a moratorium on all things internet (other than my daily check in & tracking!) until about mid-November! Anyway, I ate and ate and ate last night. Popcorn. Cinnamon toast. Triscuits & cheese. All after left-over lasagna for dinner. Sigh. So I know some of this bump back up is salt and bulk. But still... I need someone to drop me at a cabin in the woods with rations for 3 meals a day for about 3 weeks to break this cycle. I’m up 53 lbs from my lowest weight 2 years ago, which was actually 10 lower than my original goal. On the plus side (so to speak), I weigh exactly what I weighed a year ago, and 30 lbs less than my heaviest. Part of me is ok with this weight since I’m healthy and active, but the rest of me is ticked off that I let it get away from me again. Ok, no hugs needed, I’m fine, just venting because I know you guys get it. It’s cold and rainy here today so I’m thinking of doing laps inside Menard’s. Have a lovely!

It’s chilly and rainy this morning but supposed to clear up this afternoon and warm up a little, so I’m planning to get out to some trails I haven’t visited in a while over the next couple of weeks. DH bought trick-or-treat candies and kindly bought the ones I don’t like. ❤️ We’re setting a bowl full on the porch for a no-contact Halloween. Kinda sad about that — I enjoy seeing the kids.

10/24 167.1 ~ {Steps 20,226} ~ Today was a successful day as far as exercising and my diet. I went to my favorite hairstylist and had a couple fabulous workouts!
10/25 166.6 ~ {Steps 5,771} ~ It was a nice and uneventful day, those are the best..... Here in the PNW it was cold and windy early but it actually turn out perfect. So I took advantage of our nice weather....
10/26 164.6 ~ {Steps 11,614} ~ Today was a tough day emotional so nothing I planned was accomplished. A couple bright side, I talked to my daughter a couple times and received previous pictures of my grandkids. The second bright side I didn’t eat my emotions, yay for me!

No breakfast, very healthy low cal/low carb lunch but horrible dinner and dessert. The scale went down because even with bad choices my calories were still pretty low. Striving to do better today but it’s not feeling like it’s going to be a good day.

Day 02 – 09/18 ....210.6….. Happy Dance!
Day 03 – 09/19 ….211.2….. canned soup with crackers. Too much sodium but had no time to cook yesterday.
Day 04 – 09/20 ….210.8….. Better!
Day 05 - 09/21 …..211.0….. not a bad little increase after movie night with son and some pizza.
Day 06 – 09/22 …..210.8….. Traveled today so tomorrow will be pitiful. Going to get very diligent to knock it back into the atmosphere. No extra fat allowed to hang around here. Time to go!
Day 07 – 09/23 …..212.0….. After travel. I will work on this today.
Day 08 – 09/24 …..210.8….. Traveled again but kept it to one meal and a small snack and I was rewarded!
Day 09 – 09/25 …..211.6….. I hate gaining when there is no apparent reason why. Yesterday was a pretty good day. However, there was not much movement due to all the special meetings I had. So today I will focus on more movement and cautiously go to the grocery store for more water (which is a little scary on a Friday in this small tourist town). Hydration may be key today. Flush, flush, flush.

Day 11 – 09/27 …..211.2….. I am not getting where I want to be in a very healthy way. Even with the scale going down I am not super happy. I know I avoided meals yesterday and just ate too much junk. It may have been lower calories overall and it may have caused a decrease on the scale but it is all about healthy and sustainable. I vow to have a better day today. One day at a time, right?

Day 17 - 10/03 …..210.4….. I salted my low sodium veggie soup because it tasted sweet and then I cheated with some dessert when I could have just had the soup and called IT dessert! Lesson learned. However, I am still down 1.6 in the last 10 days which is better than I’ve done in awhile so I will try to keep up the momentum. I am hydrating a lot today to offset any bloat.
Day 18 – 10/04 …..210.0….. Going back down, even with challenges. #nevergiveup
Day 19 – 10/05 …..211.6….. I ate healthy yesterday but dinner was not until 11:00 pm (busy day). Lots of steps also so this is a shock! No TMI this morning so that doesn’t help. Very disappointing but not disrupting. Staying on track today.

Day 21 – 10/07 …..209.6….. A good day yesterday so this is likely a normal fluctuation.
Day 22 – 10/08 …..209.8….. Another good day. The slight fluctuation must be from no TMI (potty) x 2 days. Otherwise, all is well. Good choices are being made. Not too much movement due to a pretty yucky foot injury but otherwise, all is well.
Day 23 – 10/09 …..209.6…..Slightly better but my snacks were cheats last night. Working to stop the midnight madness!
Day 24 – 10/10 …..210.0…..Fish fry last night. Today I will be extra careful. I am going to go look at Dawn’s videos right now. Pretty exited!

Day 27 – 10/13 …..208.6….. I see I posted my stats yesterday on the wrong challenge. I guess I was just excited! I traveled today so I am afraid of tomorrow’s numbers, but I will try to stay positive and tackle whatever mean ol’ number that scale may bring.
Day 28 – 10/14 …..209.2….. I’m actually quite pleased with this. Sometimes carbs pack on 2-3 pounds from one travel meal! As a diabetic, I always eat when traveling. I am sure I will always choose those lovely foods not available in my little home town. However, changing habits in some way IS good so I am trying to resign myself to smaller portions. Also a lighter calorie/carb day the day after. No need to keep the extra ounces (on my hips) right?
Day 29 – 10/15 …..208.4….. God is Good and He has always had my back. Today is the first step in some life-changing things I have been working on. It puts me one step closer to where I need to be in my personal and professional life. I hope everyone will smile with (and for) me today. As far as my weight goes, I am not counting every carb and calorie again, just yet, but I am tweaking and making some important changes on this particular path of my journey. When all my resolutions are here, I will be able to focus again. It will be before Christmas I hope. Thanks to everyone for their continued support. Down almost a whole pound overnight and a bit lower than my pre-travel weight! I am estatic!

Day 31 – 10/17 …..207.6….. I am trying to make a better difference everyday in my diet, movement and attitude. I’m not 100% yet, some personal things continue to hold me back in time and energy, but I’m on my way!
Day 32 – 10/18 …..208.2….. I was very careful and got in some extra movement. I did have garlic bread (2 slices) so I guess I deserve this. I am still carefully watching portions (otherwise).
Day 33 – 10/19 …..207.4….. I enjoyed a new Deep Dish Pizza place in my little rural town. It was very good. I ate ½ of what I would normally eat and saved the rest for my dinner. No snacks at TV time to make up for the carbs/calories. It really helped and my weight has moved down! I will make today a great day!
Day 34 – 10/20 …..207.0…..I made a few bad choices but stopped temptation in it’s tracks and made the actual decision to make better one’s for the rest of the day. So glad I did!
Day 35 – 10/21 …..206.2….. I’m actually patting myself on the back today. So proud I have continued my changes. Yesterday I danced to one song on my Alexa and I did one Fitness Marshall (Sour Candy) with Lady Gaga. It felt like a 20 minute workout so I am out of shape but it was fun. I always love watching him!
Day 36 – 10/22 …..207.6…..Well that Sux! I guess grilled cheese & tomato soup is off the menu in the near future! Having chili-dogs at a local bar/restaurant today with a friend. I will have to work my whole dietary day around the pre-planned lunch. I need more movement and water today too.

I MUST find time to cook but its pretty hard to do when most of my time lately has been away from home on projects. Tomorrow I travel far & wide to pick up my car from transmission shop downstate. I won’t be home until late evening. More weight!

10/24 - 146.0 - Ok, ready for this round. Last night was Movie Night, which had the double whammy of me not getting in my normal evening walk and the temptation of buttered popcorn. I limited myself to a small amount of popcorn (still had butter on it though - not worth eating otherwise!) and we had a great time. Got off to a slow start this morning with a light workout and then a pancake breakfast - I didn’t blow all my calories for the day but I’m going to have to be careful.
10/25 - 144.8 - Eeeee! Where did that come from? Feeling great this morning - going to do a Halloween scavenger hunt with the kids in a local park today, and I did the grocery shopping yesterday so I can meal prep this afternoon.
10/26 - 145.0 - Tiny bump compared to the big drop from yesterday. Made goat cheese, roasted asparagus and spinach egg muffins this morning which hopefully will last me a few days. It meant I had a little less time for Ring Fit, but I still got it in. A morning without working out would feel strange at this point!
10/27 - 145.4 - Not the direction I want the scale to move, but I will not let it get to me! After seeing antiderivative talk about it on here, I got Just Dance 2020 for the Nintendo Switch last night and had SO MUCH FUN dancing with it this morning. It was a good workout too, and I’m sure it will be an even better one once I learn the moves for my favorite songs.
10/28 - 145.2 - Right direction, at least, if not by much. It’s getting colder here, so I probably won’t attempt any more outside runs in the morning for awhile. I’ll just focus on Ring Fit, Just Dance and I want to get the new Fitness Boxing 2 game when it comes out in December.
10/29 - 144.8 - Glad to be back down below 145 - just hope it sticks this time. My NSV is that when I was walking our dog last night, I realized that the leggings I was wearing were getting pretty loose! I’d already gone down a size in jeans, but now I can go down one in leggings too. I also made some strawberry banana overnight oats which were delicious this morning. Looking forward to getting to eat it the next few days as well.

🏃 10/24: 153.8 I'm starting with a high spike. Again, I don't mind because it gives me more to lose this round! I know I was within calories and drank water. My salt content was higher than normal, so this isn't surprising. I am working on organizing my Just Dance songs and making playlists for my next workout. I also still feel great from my last Ring Fit Adventure workout.

I feel great both physically and mentally. I am looking forward to playing my Ring Fit Adventure or Just Dance today to just let my body know we're not supposed to be in maintenance mode, yet!

Today's salad I added a veggie chicken patty, pasta, feta, olives, onion, 1.5 eggs and Italian dressing to the same greens and almost didn't finish it. I agree that using olive oil or avocado (or more whole grains and seeds) would help! I get tempted to add fillers but should keep those healthy fats in mind!2 -

10/27 140.8 Up early and feeling good today. Making a pretty lunch salad at home. I hope it turns out well. Some of them don't quite wow me.
10/28 140.6 My salads are yummy but was hard to feel full yesterday and was grazing. It could have been how early I was up too.

10/24 174.2 I made it to the overweight range on the BMI chart! When I get to my first goal of 160 lbs I plan on reevaluating it and deciding how much more I want to lose. Honestly I never thought I would get this far. Happy to say I've stuck to it and I don't plan on stopping!
10/25 174.6 I have an abscessed tooth. I cant get into a dentist until tomorrow and this is the most pain I've ever been in. I can handle a lot of pain but when it comes to my teeth I am the world's biggest baby. The only thing I ate yesterday was mac n cheese. Probably a bump bc of the carbs? Idk. I'm not worried about calories til this thing gets fixed lol.
10/26 175.0 I'm not sure why it's going up. I haven't been able to eat much of anything the last 2 days. I'm going to a dentist today.
10/27 174.6 I went to the dentist yesterday but he wasn't able to pull my tooth because it was still too swollen. It's feeling a little better today, thankfully. Hoping I will be able to eat some real food soon lol
10/28 174.8 I was able to eat yesterday and I definitely did! Too much probably and I didn't track any calories. I refuse to let this stupid tooth halt my progress so I'm back on track today.
10/29 174.2 As excited as I was to reach the overweight range I would love to see 173 point something sometime soon! I get this tooth pulled today!!
