Good morning Middle-agers.. Tgif 😄 its looking like a lovely day outside.. perfect for a little gardening.. little tomatoes are just starting to grow and the zucchini has 4 flowers, can't wait to be eating them.
    Have a great day everyone..

Not quite Friday for me yet, and it has NOT been a lovely day here. Seems like tomorrow will be worse.

And be thankful for those little tomatoes you have. Our farmers are complaining about rain damaging young crops or knocking off blossoms.

Im sorry to hear that Tony 😔
Yesterday there were hail storms about but luckily missed my area.
Im so looking forward to homegrown tomatoes, they taste so much better than store bought.

Yes!! I just had slices of tomato with a fried egg and ham.

Yes, I always add 14 hours to my time when thinking of my Australian friends.

Almost 8:00pm here now is approaching 10:00am next day for you there.

(Just checked my World Clock before posting, and I see you're 15 hours different now instead of 14).

Yea you're the opposite to me. That'll be next April when it's lighter. Now is just cold and wet 😏

Its actually been fairly wet here for most of spring so far.. Summer is only officially 4 weeks away. They say we're going to have a cool wet summer.. Ive got to say I'm looking forward to a little less heat.

Near the equator we realized Daylight Saving Time wasn't for us. Tried it for a short while and abandoned the idea 40 years ago in 1980. I guess it has a greater impact for countries far north or far south.

Same here. I'm working from home this week, The girls and husband are on a week off. And guess who's still wiping crumbs off the counter or tells girls to bring their glasses/plates down and put them IN the dishwasher - rather than leave them on top....
Whenever possible I try to go for a walk, I ended up going just now after all. It was crazy windy out there and still a bit wet, so I'm completely wind swept, but that's ok, no one sees me anyway.

    Hugest hugs to you.....
I think many can relate to this, especially your last line.
I value and appreciate you. You’re funny and smart and I always enjoy reading your comments.
    I see you 🤗🤗🤗

Aaaaw Freek, thank you, what a nice thing to say <3
And for what it's worth, feelings are mutual, shame we're so far away, I reckon I'd happily share a pecan pie and a few glasses of vino with you.

Wow you've all been busy here while I was snoring away! Well, it's well and truly Friday here, just gone 9am and clock is counting down till 5.30 when I can log off.
Another day of tenders for me, but I reckon I can get it done today. Currently I am cliché working from home person: pyjamas, bun on head and unwashed. I promise I'll wash soon. Promise.

And I want those cookies now @mtaratoot :o

Have a good day all :)
