I'm sure there will come a time (hes already brought it up) where moving in is the next step...I don't have that figured out yet. Maybe I can claim religion and marriage...that scares most men down right???4 -

Y'all are making me miss living alone.
I mean, I've missed it for a long time, but yeah.. man, I miss coming home to an (almost) empty apartment. An apartment that was clean at least.

Its not about the grass being greener, i never fell into that mind trap. Put it this way, the pandemic has not effected me in the least. It changed nothing about how i interact with people. It changed my work around, it caused me to wear a mask while out......but the loneliness thing, the not interacting thing, all the stuff that is causing angst and depression to so many, i dont even notice it. And yes i largely like my solitude. But the one thing i lack, is not that i dont have a relationship, its i just mentally cant do it....and thats what bothers me.6 -

Yesterday I asked my teenager if he’d like to, at some point, have a little party of friends over and he said, “No, I don’t trust you. You’re embarrassing.” I am partly hurt and partly proud of both of us for reaching this milestone. Also I worry about him giving too many *kitten*.6

Completely random thought hit me this a.m. I started the water for doing dishes, then ran down the stairs to get a couple things in the basement. My mind went to 'what'll happen if I fall and break my leg on the stairs/have a stroke/ pass out' while the water keeps running and running.
Why does my mind not automatically go to happy places? Like Happy Gilmore?4 -
