So...slacking on posting again.
Thursday was back day!
Friday was arms!
Saturday was shoulders and Traps!
Sunday was “Rest”
Yesterday was Chest and Tris.

Life has been turning itself on it's head, and I realized I've let my "mental toughness 'muscle'" atrophy the past several years. There were "reasons" but regardless, it took a hike. Probably why I've not felt like "myself" fully in that time.
So, as an opportunity to help develop that muscle again, I've started the 75 Hard program - day 5 today, so just getting started, but I know I can do it - I've had similarly difficult things I've accomplished in life (some actually a fair bit harder), so it's just reminding myself of what I've let slide.
Today was a beautiful weekend day, so the floof dog and I took a hike at my local state park, mostly off-roading on a peninsula that had no trails on it (which is a great workout for my fubared ankle).

Trying to put myself, not first (being realistic) but in the top 5 priorities. I've lost a few pounds just from stress but my scale says my metabolic aflge is 6 years old than my actual so need to actively try to improve health.0

Over a week into 75 Hard. Workouts are going well, eating is going fine (easier now that my meal delivery has started - cooking is hard to fit into my day to day, and I don't have a full day free to 'prep'). First couple days the water was awful, but my body seems to be adjusting and it's less problematic. Sunday sucked - all day moto ride, and still had a work meeting when I got home, had to cook, and still had another workout to do. Bathroom breaks on the ride were a bit of a pain too LOL.
But sticking with it, I've used this mental toughness muscle before, just have let it atrophy too much, so probably a little less "painful" than it would be for some folks.0 -

Hey kids, I see everyone is going strong. Keep it up.
Things are starting to shut down again. Preparing myself mentally for another shutdown after the holidays.
In the meantime, another full body work out.

Hey I'm old enough to be in here. This mornings workout was upper body. Pulling and pushing, some core work, and 15 minutes of cardio on the stairmaster. I'm hitting a protein shake for lunch and I think we will have steaks tonight for the rebuild. Onward and upward!1

I am not enjoying my weight workouts these days. I need to find that shot-in-the-arm workout plan - maybe a 6- or 8- week plan - that can reignite my workouts. It all seems VERY boring right now.2
