I hope the disagree on my post above was a mistake.
I stated facts that happened, what is there to disagree with in that horribly tragic situation?
Please, if it was on purpose have the balls to explain why you disagree.6 -

I double checked to make sure it wasn't me (it wasn't). It doesn't make sense why anyone would disagree with your statement or your personal experience..
So sad to read of your loss 😔1 -
‘Stick your neck out’ is synonymous with being brave
‘Being a chicken’ is synonymous with not being brave
But when a chicken is being a chicken and sticks his neck out, he gets his head lopped off
Moral of the story:i dunno, something something brave chickens7 -

Indeed.I was able to get two packages in the mail, clean up around my home a bit, jam out to some music and get some shopping done.
Our car's battery decided to die today, so that wasn't great BUT I managed not to curse the world, be mad about it and we got a jump that powered us to an Autozone to buy a replacement, so... it ended well.7 -
About to drop $600 + on bike parts cause I have a fetish for shiny silver things. The drivetrain is also pretty cooked.
I'm justifying by the fact I haven't owned a car in 2.5 years. I haved save over $2000 in rego fees and prolly around the same in fuel.5 -

@Faetta I completely agree but several have tried in the past. Look at mine @Faetta

It is happening everywhere. I only have one forum wish for Christmas, that would be to get rid of disagrees over here in chit/chat and fun and games. Go ahead and keep it in the debate section but get rid of it everywhere else. It hurts feelings and many newbies are shot right out of the saddle with their first post with massive disagrees and they never ever come back. Save disagrees for debate only and then just go to town and have at it. Save all chop busting discussions for debate.
I could write a letter but I don't know who to send it to. I don't agree that disagrees make a forum a nicer place. No, they don't. I have been on other forums and they didn't have any woos or disagrees or negative feedback and there weren't any fights over anything. Anything started, it was stopped and it just made for a pleasant experience all of the way around. There is a way. I know there is a way.
You can have a welcoming committee but when a newbie encounters all kinds of negative reactions right out of the chute they ain't coming back. I remember many of these people and they had no idea what hit them upside the head. They are new and they don't know there's abrasive people just waiting to pounce on their tender hearts. It ain't good and a change, a positive change is love overdue. Let kindness reign supreme.

Life really doesn't seem fair at times, I'm especially reminded of this at Christmas time.
This week I will visit my parent's grave site and wish them a Merry Christmas. The tears will flow and emotions will run from anger to heartbreak. One can only pray they will be there to console me. I miss them so very much. 💔
I've since adjusted my thoughts to focus on all the things I have to be thankful for. The little things we take for granted every day. The job I have, my healthy, beautiful children, my morning coffee, my warm bed, my paycheck. I don't take these these for granted.
Sometimes we have to dig deep and find the silver linings when everything around us seems to be falling apart. It's not always easy, but it's important to stay focused on what we do have, not what we've lost or don't have.
Many of you here have been such a light in my life. Whether it be a compliment, a sarcastic remark, or a silly gif. I just want to thank you (you know who you are) all and take this time to wish you all the beauty of the holiday season. ❤️ I appreciate you all.
It may not mean much (or it might), but please reach out and talk to one of us (or me) if you need to.
Your words are inspirational and remind me that I, too, have things to give thanks for. Gratitude and love are great practices, but not always easy so to have gentle reminders from others is always appreciated.6 -

Now I have Elvis Blue Christmas stuck in my head...
It's funny how songs like that help to process it all out...
They're always with you hun ❤️...
And it will get easier... Share those fond memories and lessons you've learned from them with your kids...
And one day when you're gone, your kids will play Blue Christmas and idolize you to their kids...
Or at least this is my plan 🤷🏽♂️😂...7 -
@Kashmir_314, @KosmosKitten
I wanted to tell you that your posts have really resonated with me these past few days.
Sometimes it can be really hard to see the happy and good when there is just so much crap happening. Especially when it's ripe and right there in front of your face, stinking up the place.
But... It doesn't mean the happy isn't still there. The blessings are still there. And you both remind me to go search it out, aggressively if/when I need to.
Sending you both big hugs, and gratitude, and hope for a lot more sunshiney happy days (for us all). ❤️
Lord knows we could use them!4 -
Hair dyes.
I'm going to dye my hair soon, maybe tomorrow but I'm undecided on the color.4 -
ALSO,
When you're in public and you cough do you...
1. Still cover your mouth with your hand even though you have face mask on
Or
2. You have a face mask on so why should you double cover....
Clearly these are drunken thoughts 😆4 -

Your hair is beautiful - peek-a boo- red or purple or blue?
Caramel balayage would be be pretty too
You have pretty hair - so whatever you choose will be pretty!4 -

Youtube can take you on quite the journey, no reasonable direction. I started with Shakira, went to pole-dancing, then Imagine Dragons, and Leona Lewis. It's Sunday, what else is there to do?3
