To reach this goal I will:
log ALL of the food I eat (total honesty) in MFP
try to eat 5-7 fruit and veg servings/day (very challenging for me)
drink 12 Cups of water per day
walk 6000 steps per day (current average is probably 3000-4500)
    meditate and/or do yoga daily
work on self esteem and do one self care activity (like a bath, pedi, etc) per day

Thanks for the invite, it’s good to see you back. I’ve also struggled recently and these have always been helpful in the past, so I’m glad to get back with it. Good luck everyone!

I have an auto immune disease and fibromyalgia that makes losing weight more challenging. But I am so tired of being this over weight and I am now pre diabetic. Time to turn it around. I am looking forward to cheering on everybody's progress.

Hello @deepwoodslady, I enjoy your comments. I would have gained a bit if I had been making Christmas candy too. Just love fudge and peanut clusters and rocky road bars. I have to give them all away or put them all in the freezer to stay out of. Good luck to you and heres to a healthy new year.

@Beautyofdreams Thanks for your kind comments. I am so proud of the phenomenal work you put in and the fantastic results you've achieved in the past few months. Congratulations and Happy New Year to you. I wish you much continued success!!!

Thank you @mtaratoot for keeping us accountable during the snowy weather.

I have a little secret to share. It's actually YOU who is doing the work. You are keeping YOURSELF accountable. Nobody else can do it, and guess what? You ca do it! You know you can, and if you need a reminder, just look over your shoulder at where you've come the last nine months.

This is just a fun little way we can help support each other in our journeys. Don't ever skip giving yourself credit for the things you've achieved, and keep looking on down that road to where you want to be in the next nine months.

    We got this! Let's go!

I see that @sassbag has posted her monthly challenge. There were a few months I didn't see them. Had I seen @sassbag had posted one, I wouldn't have posted this one.

Since I think it's kind of silly to have TWO challenges that are exactly the same, I'd like to encourage you to re-post on the challenge @sassbag posted. I am going to see if the MFP staff can roll this discussion into that one and then delete it.

    Mea culpa.

I hadn't seen monthly challenges for a couple months, so I posted one. I didn't see this one until after I had posted a January challenge. I asked the folks who've posted there to come on over here. It's silly to have two challenges that are EXACTLY the same. Not trying to step on toes; just didn't see this had been posted.

I'm glad to be back. Happy New Year, and much success to all!

These challenges really help me to stay motivated. I was actually down to 171 before Thanksgiving, but then came the holidays and here I am. My original starting weight at the end of July was 198.2, so at least I didn't gain it all back before pulling myself together.

Happy New Year and here's to better eating!!

We got the request and these two challenges have been merged, so all the answers from both should now be present here. If anyone's responses are missing I apologize, please repost!

    Have a great year all!
