This week's successes:
I am still losing weight, and my kitty is taking well to his diet. He lost .2 pounds this last week too. Also I got to eat inside a restaurant for the first time in almost a year to celebrate my little brother's birthday!
This week's challenges:
I have been super tired and hungry this week, so snacking has been a bit out of control. Also there was a lot of ordering in because I was too tired to cook. Hopefully that will calm down.3 -
Hi guysss I hope you don't mind me joining late. I previously lost a lot of weight with slimming world however I have since gained all the weight back I attempted slimming world again but it just didn't work and I actually gained weight!
I'm hoping calorie counting along with the motivation from you guys can get me to where I need and want to be.

This week's challenges: So I gained a pound this week, but Hopefully I am just adding muscle as my diet and workouts are the same. My legs get a good workout with 45 Minutes on the Elliptical so we shall see next week at weigh-in.5 -
Starting weight: 247.4 lbs (1/1/2021)
Goal weight for 2021: 196
Current weight: 241.4 lbs (2/5/2021)
Total weight lost: 7 lbs
7 lbs in 7 weeks? I'm right on track!
This week's successes: I'm starting to get my snacking under better control. My breakfasts and lunches clocked in a bit light this week so I had a couple hundred "extra" calories to work with, and I successfully resisted buying snacks from the vending machine or cafe at work, instead planning for a treat after dinner and sticking to that plan. My shoulder is also better now!
This week's challenges: Still working on those snacks. I also need to better manage my time on the weekends to make sure I get all the meal prepping done that needs to be - I nearly didn't this past weekend.4 -
I am starting this at 185 pounds so my goal weight for this challenge is 135 pounds. I will post weekly my current weight and my weekly goal rate to keep myself on track and motivated.
SW00: 185.0
WK01: 182.1 (184)
WK02: 183.0 (183)
WK03: 181.9 (182)
WK04: 183.0 (181)
WK05: 181.9 (180)
WK06: 180.8 (179)
Last Week's Successes: While a pound behind my goal still, I lost a pound! I also started to wake up earlier as I had planned.
Last Week's Challenges: Again, I did not get all my walks and PT exercises as I had planned. Still putting others before myself and it's been super cold and icy - both of these were my excuses this week.
Last Week's Plan: I will wake up earlier to start having some more "me" time so I will not feel the pressure to take care of everyone else's needs instead of my own.
This Week's Plan: Create a schedule to include my children into my exercising, so I take care of them and me at the same time. Pre-plan my meals for the week.2 -
Starting weight: 189 (Jan 1, 2021)
Goal weight: 159
Current weight: 179.4 (Feb 12)
Total weight lost: 9.6 pounds
This week's successes: Kept the needle on my scale moving in the right direction. Good job of keeping my fasting window clean. Getting dangerously close 10 pounds lost this year.
This week's challenges: I need to find a constructive way to fight off being cold. My tendency has been to wrap up and sit by my heater instead of getting up and moving. I’m going to move more this week.

I am 51 year old 6'0" with a Thyroid issue, that I am on Meds for, and tore my Achilles in May. My weight constantly yoyo's and the up is more than the down. Heaviest I have ever been.
I have been unable to do any cardio and the weight has continued to creep up. I also have a torn Meniscus but can still get around.
Starting weight: 287.2 ( January 1, 2021)

01/29: 273.0 (-1.2)
02/6: 276.8 (+3.8)
2/12: 272.0 (-4.8)
This weeks successes: was able to lift two days this week. Felt it in my right knee, so will likely not add any more than 2 days a week until the meniscus is repaired.
This weeks challenges: Not getting enough protein. It is hard to get enough protein, even when adding a Meal Replacement shake and scoop of protein to my diet. I eat a lot of chicken and eggs. May need to increase the amount of fish I eat. 2 days this week: Salmon and shrimp.4 -
I followed the 2020 challenge, and I'm looking forward to participating in this one.
I'll do my official weigh in on Jan 1st.
Lots of good luck to everyone!

Update as of 2/12:
Starting weight January 1, 2021: 211
Goal weight:150
Current weight: 205.8
Total weight lost: 5.4
This week's successes:
I seem have gotten back into the swing of a pound a week. Also, my boyfriend and I have been adding walks to our lunch and dinner routine, and that has been a very refreshing break to the work-from-home day. We are hoping to increase the distance we walk through the end of the month and incorporate some jogging next month. I am actually excited for it, and I have despised all forms of running since middle school!
This week's challenges:
I got a bit lazy with menu planning this week, and did not give myself the room to take both meat-free days. There is always next week, and I am in a better head-space, so I am hopeful that I won't make the same fumble planning our menu.6 -

This week's challenges: Inflamed my chest muscles due to belly dancing so no dancing for me for until it heals.
My stomach and my acid reflux are really giving me problems. So I have solved this by eating much less and eating blander food. It has helped a lot. Taking meds for chest pain. Still.. very happy with continuing loss.

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in day out.
A pound a week seems reasonable
I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

Past week's successes: Stuck with my Feb challenge … no sugar free dark chocolate candies! But then I ate king cake & macaroons, fried chicken, fast food hamburger & fries 2x, etc etc etc … The point is I ate a lot and it shows on the scale. Also less exercise so the outcome was predictable.
This week's challenges: Need to get back into an exercise routing of walking, biking and planks even though we have snow on the ground (unusual in the south) and clean up my act on the food front. DON’T eat out of boredom

Challenges: Well a pretty big one this week I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m really angry that I’m finally taking care of myself and my body and my reward is cancer! Of course I know that’s not true but I’m furious. Not sure yet what the treatment plan will be but scared and worried about how it will derail my progress to get healthy.
Success: i am still hiking 5 miles a day so I guess cancer is holding me back yet:)9 -

start brewing your own essiac tea, and drink it daily. (you can buy the herbs in a powder form, I don't agree with the pre ready made tea in tea bags)
I drink it ever since I was diagnosed with "pre cancer" I buy it off ebay, as its the same formula as rene caisse used.2 -
