    Starting weight: 247.4 lbs (1/1/2021)
    Goal weight for 2021: 196
    Current weight: 233.4 lbs (3/26/2021)
Total weight lost: 14 lbs (-1.2 since last week)

This week's successes: I stayed under-budget almost every day! Super proud of myself and thrilled with my progress.

This week's challenges: I had to deal with some pretty severe foot pain after taking a 4-mile stroll around the park on Sunday, so that wasn't fun. Have I mentioned I live on the second floor? I'm OK now, though.

This week's successes: I did my first Youtube kickboxing workout this week. It was challenging, but the hardest thing was really following the step-and-punch/kick sequence more than the actual moves themselves - coordination has never been my strongest suit, so I'm also hoping to see a general improvement there.

This week's challenges: The lunches I made for this week turned out pretty light (cabbage rolls, only about 150cal for 2 of them), so I've had a LOT of room for snacks, which is a double-edged sword. I rounded out the cabbage rolls with stuff like hard-boiled eggs, oranges, and protein bars/peanut butter crackers. I've done well enough this week but every step of it was pretty fraught. I caught myself watching the clock and counting down minutes until it was time for a snack, because I decided to try spreading my lunch out throughout the day. I'm not sure if it's really working or not.

    Total weight lost: 16.2 lbs

This week's successes: I have been taking a diet break and eating at maintenance for just over a week, and it seems to be going pretty well! I’m really glad I’m doing this, to get some practice eating at maintenance and giving my body a break from a deficit.

This week's challenges: As I mentioned last week, it’s my last week of classes for the semester so I’m struggling to finish everything up. I need to sleep more and drink more water.

    Starting weight: 247.4 lbs (1/1/2021)
    Goal weight for 2021: 196
    Current weight: 229.4 lbs (4/16/2021)
Total weight lost: 18 lbs (-2 since last week)

This week's successes: I was able to preplan the whole week, soup to nuts, snacks included, and that really helped curb impulsive snacking, I think. Since every calorie was already spoken for, it changed the question from "what can I nosh on?" to "when can I nosh on the [crackers/orange/cheese/whatever] that I planned to eat today?"

This week's challenges: This week went pretty smoothly, all things considered.
