04/12 197 Uhhhhh. Very lazy yesterday.
04/13 197 No change. I am very disappointed. I am still swollen but not as much as I was. I was more active yesterday but still over indulged. It is so easy to fall down the rabbit hole with carbs and sugar.
04/14 195.9 TOM is still kicking my butt which accounts for extra heaviness.
04/15 195.4 It’s something. No walk during lunch for 2 days in a row, but I got in 10 minutes last night.
04/16 194.6 Here we go. No sabotaging. I am going out to eat tomorrow evening. Light day tomorrow.

GW:169s. I'm 67
Hi there folks I'm a 67 yr old female, 5'9" and ready to rock this year of weight loss. Round One - I'm late to this party, but would love to join you all. So I went back to include my weeks' daily weight. So odd to have seen my weight go up from yesterday as I've eaten healthy foods in moderate portions in the last few days. Here's to making it a clean 10 lb loss by the 21st! My mini goal is to become overweight..at 202 lbs mid summer!
Day/Weight/Comment

04/14 226
04/15 223
04/16 221.8
04/17 219.6
04/18 220.6 down 8.4 bs from 4/12, but up 1 from yesterday. Water weight? (down 78 whoo whoo, 52 to go to be at the top of Normal BMI)
04/19 220- -.6 from yesterday. down 10 since the start date 4/12 which was a result of too much salt and eating out (wrong foods). But, hey, I lost the weight I'd gained the week before, and a bit more. I'm almost to my pre-pandemic weight! So close I can feel it, taste it, savor it! Mini goals keep me going. Now to keep it from bouncing back up.

04/13 115.4 So this is what I call my dry weight. It was after I worked out fasted in the morning, but I was happy with it because this weekend was a tough one foodwise. Life is always busy but it just feels extra busy right now. We are slowly making progress on the renovation plans but that has also been consuming my time on the weekends as I research appliances and everything else involved in building a whole new living space. I have been keeping up with my exercise though and that has been saving me when I make poor food decisions on the weekend (along with staying within a deficit on the weekdays).
04/14 115.6 TOM arrived in the middle of the night but I pushed myself this morning to do a lighter than normal effort on the bike for 30 minutes this morning to see if the exercise would help the cramps a little bit. On the bright side, I think it helped a little bit or at least helped release some happy chemicals in my brain. Short day at work today because I have to go pick my car up from the shop. Many dollars later I will have working AC, a fixed exhaust, and an oil change. Grateful I won’t de driving in a moving sauna this summer though!

04/16 115.4 Yesterday was a rough day emotionally due to some family ish but I’m feeling better today. I also had the energy to do a little bit of yoga and ride the bike for 20ish minutes. Food was a mish mash of stress eating and attempting to eat decently yesterday. Not sure what the plan is for today foodwise. I hope everyone has a good Friday! I love hearing the birds chirping in the trees outside my window on this rainy spring day in New England.

04/19 Did not weigh. I have a lot of veggies to use up in the fridge and also need to donate some of the longer storage vegetables to the pantry tomorrow. We just end up with a little bit too much and each week it builds to the point of excess. My goal this week is to at least use all of the fresh greens I have gotten from the CSA over the past two weeks. I’m thinking of making a kale salad tonight or tomorrow. Started my day with a 20 minute spin bike ride. Didn’t end up doing any exercise this weekend. I ended up getting lost in water coloring painting with watercolor markers and water brushes along with figuring out what we are going to do about housing come August because plans fell through to renovate our inlaws basement. It will just be way too expensive (over 100k for what we wanted). So, now we get to decide if we want to buy something of our own. Being an adult is fun...I can't decide if that's supposed to be sarcastic or not...the thought of buying a house is both exciting and terrifying all at the same time.

I am a 20 year old college student who recently let themselves go over quarantine as well as the freshman 15 and I'm hoping to lose some of that weight before my third year roles around. My overall goals over these challenges are to better my relationship with exercise and food while losing some pounds in the processRound 146: 181.1 (-5.1)
SW: 181.1
CW: 176.0
GW: 160.0lbs before August 2021
Day/Weight/Comment
04/12: 176.0 ... I was honestly looking forward to weighing in this morning. I tried out a new recipe for dinner last night but I had a hard time figuring out what the calorie count would be. I'm aiming for an 800 calorie deficit (after exercise) so I'm not 100% sure if my logging last night was accurate for food. Seeing no change was great. This week is smack dab in the middle of exam season, plus moving out of my current house, so it'll be interesting to see how my weight fluctuates as we go along.
04/13: 175.3
04/14: 175.4 ... TOM, so not expecting any big losses this round
04/15: 176.3 ... my roommates made charcuterie last night and I may have overindulged. Oh well, it's been one night of not being in a calorie deficit for close to two weeks now, I figure one night is fine and it hasn't set me off track by that much. I also avoided the wine that came with it, so I'll take the little victories and onto the next day! Have a big exam in Cell Biology today but still planning on going for a run to work off the frustration I'm sure will come with it... other than that, up the water intake, and there's no more yummy cheese in the house to tempt me.
04/16: 173.3 ... that's more like it. Hopefully this isn't a fluke.
04/17/; 176.0 ... annnnnd we're back. I binged a bit last night. Was still within my calories but didn't have enough of a deficit. I'm hoping TOM has something to do with it.
04/18: 175.0 ... my weight fluctuates so much ughhhh. Hopefully I can get back to the 16th's weight before the end of the challenge. Last exam is today so after today I'll be upping my training to include daily weight training as well as running. Can't wait until the gyms open back up and I can get back to lifting.

Main goal - count calories even when with partner/at social events, even if it’s not perfect an estimate is better than nothing!
SW:166.4
GW:125
Day/Weight/Comment
04/12 - 164.2 - over ate a bit at night time but eating during the day was fine
04/13 - 161.8 - cakes at the office! I had one but counted the calories and hopefully can manage the snack ☺️
04/14 - 161.7 - so yesterday’s snack turned into a bit of a day of indulgence but I’m back on track today and down a little bit too!
04/15 - 161.8 - ended up eating at maintenance yesterday so need to do some work on lowering!
04/16 - 159.9 - nice little drop this morning ☺️ weighed later than the last few days as I wasn’t working. Will be with my bf at social events for the weekend so fingers crossed I can stick to my goal and log even if I’m not 100% sure of the calories (also make good choices)
04/17 - 160.4
04/18 - away
04/19 - 160.2 - must admit counting calories didn’t go to plan over the weekend but tried to make good decisions and the numbers aren’t too bad thankfully!

04/14 - 56.5kg, lots of gardening and logged every bite!
04/15 - 56.2kg, logging is working to keep me losing, rainy yesterday so no walking but some early morning gardening
04/16 - 56.5kg, logged everything and was within limits, but too much sodium is hopefully the culprit here, > 10,000 steps!
04/17 - DNW, couldn't bear to see the scale after a major food meltdown yesterday afternoon, hope to be back on track today...
04/18 - 56.7kg, did okay today but only just

March focus: improving stamina, strength, flexibility, which may impact the scale
Aims:2021 Focus:JGM10D ~|~ Round 147- Maintain weight < 150
- Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
- Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
- Cut down on eating between meals by keeping busy
Never give up! Never give in!
Recent Back Story:- 2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅
- 2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
- 2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ Strength training has slowed progress, but that’s okay.
- That's a WIN in my book!
- 2021
- Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.
- (One good thing about Covid is that I don't have to traverse the minefield of family celebration meals.)

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Hi again!
First round for me !
Also I should mention that this is the first time I am trying keto ! We'll see how it goes!!!
Female, 36 yrs old 1.65cm ( 5' 5'') . I reached my highest ever weight at 70,7 kgr (155.9 lbs) and I have started a slow but steady effort!
Hopefully, this challenge -alongside everyone- will speed things up a bit!
SW: 68.3 kgr (150.6 lbs)
GW: 64.3 kgr (141.8 lbs)
UGW: 54 kgr (119 lbs) by August 2021
Eighth Day Weigh in
04/12 68.50 kgr (150.6 lbs)
04/13 68.00 kgr (149.9 lbs) Ok... I could not believe my eyes -half a kilo in a day! I guess it was the keto shock to the system! First time doing anything like that... Just taking it a day at a time!
04/14 68.00 kgr (149.9 lbs) No change whatsoever!!! Xmmmm..... I would like to see at least a 67,9kgr - for phycological reasons!! Anyway, I guess it was because I only had a very light workout and the last meal was at 21:15!! Even though I was under my daily calories.... Alas... Tomorrow is a new day!!!
04/15 67.60 kgr (149.0 lbs) Yeah!!!! Hello sweet 67!!! One hour of yoga practice yesterday and I managed to have my last calories at 20:30 last night!! I also upped my water intake … A day at a time!! I realise now that perhaps my GW of 64.3 ( 4kgr, 8 lbs lose)for the 10 days keto might be a tad unrealistic!!!
04/16 67.20kgr (148.2 lbs) !!!!!! I had to get on my scale two times to make sure that the number I was seeing was not just wishful thinking!!! Hehehehehehe.... Wow.. First time that I have lost more than 1 kgr (>2.2 lbs) in four days! I am astounded not only by the loss, but from the fact that I ‘m not that hungry or I don’t have ‘’what to eat next’’ on my mind all the time.. Of course, I am aware that it is the beginning and it is ok if at some point I will not lose any weight, at least until my body gets ‘’ accustomed’’ to the process, but I will enjoy the journey!!!
04/17 DNW
04/18 DNW
04/19 66.70 kgr (147 lbs) WOW!! Happy 66!!! :D I am more than surprised by that number! Even though I did get my yoga in, on Saturday and watched my carb intake, I always have trouble on Sundays because we eat all the family together with yummy temptations!!! So, I succumbed to some fried zucchini!!!! So worth it!! Everyone, let’s have a great week!!!! :)
04/20 66.70 kgr (147 lbs) No change and that is ok!!! Slow and steady!! Final day tomorrow!!

04/20 - 146.3 - Banished the bloat. Mostly. What's left will hang around a few more days, but the worst of it should be over. Unfortunately I had a bit of a stomach ache yesterday morning so I broke my fast for some toast. Felt so so much better after that. Did pull off drinking 90oz, though, and feeling better getting back to that. The toast also helped with getting my workout in and pushing harder than expected and planned. Definitely wanted to take it easier in case I started feeling unwell, but it never happened. Also think, along with the water push, the exercise helped with the worst of the bloat which, in turn, helped with the tummy issues. Crazy how all interconnected it is!
04/21
Previous Day's Comments04/12 - No hugs, it's expected. Combination of factors: 2 days of slight dehydration with limited water/bathroom breaks and 90 degrees, full sunlight, no shade; full body soreness; large, late dinner to make up for lack of food all day. Hopefully I can get back on track in the next couple of days. I'm pushing my workout to tomorrow since I'm still very sore today and need to rehydrate fully, first. Depending on weather, I'll try for a walk with the pup. It isn't much, but it IS gentle movement.
04/13 - No hugs, part of the rehydration process. I got my 90oz in and feeling a little better. Still bloated, but my body will realize soon enough I'm giving it plenty and drop the excess water weight. Need to get fasting back in line with goals. Last night was super late because my old phone got randomly stuck in a reboot loop so I had to run to Verizon and get a new one before they closed. Today I have no excuses to not be on track. Also knocking out my workout here in a few minutes before work gets too hectic.
04/14 - Alright, get in gear, Cam. Log your food and water. Track your fast. Do the workout (2 more before weekend, aiming for today and Friday). Things are happening, Cam, but they're slow because you're slacking. We got this. Let's do this! Today is the day, NOT tomorrow. TODAY. Okay, end pep talk. Not sure fasting yesterday. Wasn't long. Got about 90oz, though, which is good progress. Still rehydrating and allowing my body time to bounce back from that (PATIENCE CAM.....) I have broccoli to use up and some leftover wild turkey for lunch. Not sure on dinner, as usual. I guess I'll find out at dinner (which makes it hard to plan and track appropriately but I've managed alright in the past. It's not an excuse to go off the rails.
04/15 - Still moving on down. Rather surprised at this since we had last minute dinner plans change and ended up eating wings. Was delicious, and even better seeing a loss today. Fasted 16 hours, drank 85oz water. Did my workout yesterday and it was leg focused so I'm a tad sore in the booty/hammies. Hopefully I'll recover enough for tomorrow's workout. Stormy today so not much getting done outside. Ended up spending a chunk yesterday repotting my tomatoes and anaheim chilis. I need to get more soil to repot my habaneros since I think their growth is stunted in the small pots now. Hopefully this weekend will clear up and I can do that.
04/16 - Asian food. It may be homemade, but there was still plenty of salt involved. Glad I'm not up more. No clue what today has in store so I'm going to try to play it safe for lunch just in case. Need to get my workout in at some point, but not sure when or how. I didn't wake up before BF (since its my day off) so I couldn't knock it out before he was up and moving. I'll find a way. Fasted 15.5hrs, drank 90oz water.
04/17 - Yesterday was madness. Didn't get my usual workout in, but DID do some manual labor at the land pulling tree limbs, stacking brush, and burning piles until the rain came back in. Fitbit didn't register it as a workout, but I got a lot of Zone Minutes which is the primary goal. Ended up grabbing lunch on the way and then dinner was a last minute affair of diced steak with rice and steamable veggies in a bowl. Not terrible, but not ideal. Fasted 16hrs, only got 64 oz of water which I need to correct today. I'll be outside a good chunk of the afternoon and it's chilly so hopefully I'll shiver or bounce around to burn off some extra calories haha!
04/18 - DNP
04/19 - Didn't get the chance to post yesterday, it was a busy busy day. Pre-TOM bloat is hitting me verrrry hard this morning. Also extremely tired. BF has off this week so he'll be out of the house and I can postpone my workout until later when I wake up more, thankfully. Hopefully getting in a workout will help with the bloating a bit, too. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. We shall see. Plan on hitting the garden to repot my habaneros and get things ready for my bell peppers and jalapenos in the seed starter. Don't think they're quite big enough yet, but they're getting close to needing new pots. My mom and I started a new blog, too. Not sure if y'all would be interested but I'll throw it out for anyone curious. www.momandgoose.com (:
