I ate a piece of pie. ONE piece of pie.33

I have lost almost 50 lbs and have been doing the Sidney Cummings Challenges (on my second month now), I hated doing planks with just a sports bra because I had all this loose skin hanging down from my stomach, while planking. Well, yesterday was plank time again (and it is getting warmer so no T-shirt) and I noticed that there was a lot less loose skin "hanging" down. Yeah for staying consistent.31

Did a timed walk/run and set a PR for a 1 mile split - 14:34. 1:06 faster than my previous PR, and nearly 10 minutes faster than when I started walking workouts in November. Also, I tried on a XL t-shirt last night and it almost fit. My belly wasn't hanging out the bottom.30

A1C of 6.1 yesterday. First time it's been that low in several years, and I was 40-50 pounds lighter then, so I'm thrilled that my new routine is giving me the lab results that I need!

An NSV I'm not exceptionally thrilled about: my wedding rings are rapidly becoming too large! I have some plastic sizers to keep them on my finger for now, but I don't think I'll be able to have them resized, just because of the material and design. They weren't expensive and I'd be happy to continue to support the Etsy shop where they originally came from, but I've barely been married 6 months! LMAO
A better NSV: My boobs (in a bra) stick out further than my belly does when I'm standing. So I got that going for me, which is nice.22 -
I can lift 50lb feed bags now and do 10 pushups. Never been able to do either!23

I used a metal resizer to keep my wedding ring on, then a year or so after I started maintenance I found a local jeweler that did lessons, together we made a sterling silver band to fit inside the wedding ring, so it was resized by adding another layer rather than taking some of the ring away and making it smaller. If you get in touch with the Etsy shop they may be able to do something similar.
Now if someone could tell me how to make the picture smaller.....

Not sure how to do it from a phone, but whenever I post a pic in a thread, I first open it in an app that lets me resize the image to under 800 pixels on the longest side.

I comfortably fit into a pair of jeans I bought 2 years ago when I was losing weight (before I fell off the bandwagon for almost 2 years!) they were a size too small when I bought them, but they were good cowgirl up jeans on sale for like $20 and I was confident I would fit into them in the future, well it took me longer than I’d hoped, but that future is now!23

I am swimming in the men's large sweatshirt I bought last November.16

Zipped into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear.

I was just working on the computer and was sitting up straight in my chair, maybe even leaning forward a bit, and there was enough room for my rotund little girlkitty to sit on my lap!15

I’ve been too intimidated to try the stairclimber at the gym. I’m only 5’2 and it looks so high up there. I have also been super morbidly obese up until recently so there is a deep seated fear of falling because good luck hobbling around when you get injured at that size. I waited until about 5 mins before the gym closed and then got on it for the first time yesterday. My legs felt so wobbly and my palms sweaty from fear. My mind kept screaming “omg your fat *kitten* is going to fall and die *kitten*.” But I didn’t. So I went back and did 300 floors in about 40 minutes today. I was standing straight the entire time and not using my arms to support my weight.44

Ran my first 10k on Saturday.26

I logged in for 30 days straight as of today!
Also, I ate ice cream and sushi and other not-great things yesterday and my body feels like garbage this morning. I consider this a NSV because I used to eat WAY more than that before joining MFP and be fine. I think it's a sign my body is adapting to a healthier lifestyle and wants better/less food!24 -
Ran my first half marathon in a year on Saturday. Earned myself a new PR of 1:46:13. Shaved just over 10 minutes off my time and defeated all those nagging thoughts of it's not actually a race, you can walk at any point in time and it won't matter, your just doing this for fun so slow down... Feeling it today but it was worth it.24

That seems like a lot to do (300 floors) for basically the first time exercising on it! Im wondering if you'll be super sore 2 days from now. I hope not!3 -
I’ve exercised for seven days in a row. I’m sore , but proud!19
