It's been crazy hectic at work so we just warmed up the leftover Egyptian goulash from yesterday. Hubby made tomato salad and spiralized a courgette which I sauteed it while the meat pies we warming up in the air fryer.
If you have access to ready made frozen phyllo dough, Egyptian goulash is the easiest meat pie recipe ever. You can get away with using less oil or melted butter than most recipes online call for.

Green lentil and bulgur bowl.
Tip- chop plenty of onions and use plenty tomato and red pepper pure because bulgur can take it.
Tip for families with young children- chop any veg very finely or use beans or meat basically anything your kid usually wouldn’t eat and stick it into a bulgur bowl and it goes down a treat. Well it works with mine.
Side of cacik (jajik). We always have a yogurt based side next to bulgur or rice.13 -

Still too hectic at work for me to cook so hubby made dinner. Dutch boerenkool stampot (=mash with kale). Traditionally served with smoked sausage but we found a butcher that does free range hot dogs.

Salmon, ramen (brown rice/millet) and sautéed protein greens. I buy the Organic Girls brand of protein greens and it varies a bit what is included but it may be baby kale/spinach/chard/choi, etc. This batch was primarily spinach.
I again did the sauce with Hoisin, soy sauce and garlic. The proportions are on the bottle and it's intended as a marinade but it works well as a sauce. We are hooked on it and some combination of this will be part of our regular rotation.
