Notes : ok that spike looks bad but I know exactly why that has happened. I woke up this morning sore all over from my strength sessions. I’ve started up again this week and yesterday was particularly hardcore. I know I am retaining water from muscle repair and I suspect this will come back down over the next couple of days. Not stopping. Today is rest day and tomorrow back on the strength training. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

@mari_moulin Great job on getting those workouts in! I see a weight spike when I increase my workouts too. It comes off when I give myself a chance to recover for a couple days though.

Thank you Michelle. I have to admit, Those numbers on the scale can certainly do a number on me. I’m learning to not let this phase me but it’s hard. I’ve been doing some intense workout usually 2 hours 6 times a week. I do 30 min cardio and about 1.5 hours strength everyday with one rest and recovery day.

@mari_moulin I completely get it. I don’t like to see the scale go up either even for a temporary completely reasonable reason. Those are some intense workouts. All the muscle will help you lose weight faster and add nice shape too.

Dealing with some muscle soreness from the gym yesterday, so this is likely just water retention in my muscles.

Notes : I’m feeling extremely frustrated at the scale this morning. I feel like the more I workout the more I gain weight. I know I’m building muscle and I’m seeing minor difference in my body but damn that scale and how it messes with my mind. Yesterday I had a bad day with food so this may have had some part in the spike but geez it was my first bad day in over a week. Whatever. I still got my workout done. Nothings gonna stop me.

8/10 151.25 (I have been crushing my workouts and my diet has been on point… I have been weighing every smidge of food).

I also am tracking body measurements. It is an awesome tool to use especially when weight loss is stalling and everything is on point. I measured on August 1st so I have a baseline.

I have tried keto in the past and it was hard for me to maintain although weight loss was quick. I read about keto cycling, like only doing keto for a few days at a time. It sounds like something that could work for me. I am going to do some more research and give it some more thought.
