Oct 1: 169- on soft foods still since gum surgery yesterday but had to literally sit in my car for 20 minutes tonight and talk myself out of going into a store or fast food place and buying junk food just because it's Friday night. Came home and had sugar free jelly (jello) instead. Win!

Off to a decent start for the month (yes we are 2 days in and I have to be proud of that, lol. @babysaffy I had that same conversation with myself. I ran to the store after work and had to curb the thoughts of "but it is Friday and I've had a long week, blah, blah, blah". So I went in, got what I wanted and made it out without the junk. To me that is a WIN!!
Happy weekend and now to make sure I stay focused on the plan and not let the unplannedness that I love of the weekend to be my food downfall.4 -

Day 2 and 3 did not go quite as planned. Saturday I had the issue of not staying vigilant of the time and got WAY too hungry at the store. Tried to make a better decision but it didn't go well. The toxic thoughts won out and I had a few more indulgences than what is good for me. Sunday was filled with being over emotional and sad/angry so that caused a bit of comfort eating. Not the best days but today is a new day and today will be better. I need to remember to be kind to myself, just make a better decision than the one I made "yesterday" and remember it is about a better, happier, healthier me.2

Do you know what was scary? Stepping on the scale! But it’s done. I’m on my way! What better way to celebrate one of my favorite months than by turning this around. 158.3/158.3/1454
