We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19
What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
People say keto/LCHF isn’t sustainable but I’ve been doing it for over 4 years with amazing results!
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

11/11 118.5 AF Fast only lasted about 20 hours
11/12 119.0 AF Golden Corral last night, did not overeat but even the NSA pie has a lot of carbs. Lunch today with DD#2
11/13 119.0 AF No TMIx3, I liked it much better when I would wake at 6 because I needed to “go” Apologies for TMI which finally happened! Breakfast Bingo in 45 minutes-all high carb junk but cheap. I had a 2 Good yogurt (from home,) and got a handful of blackberries. I made Eggplant parm for dinner.
11/14 120.0 Dinner tonight at friends - grilled chicken
11/15 119.0 😵💫😵💫VERTIGO😵💫😵💫 but finally a decent TMI! I was 120.5 when I got up but reweighed and I’m going with that!
11/16 118.5 AF, vertigo has resolved. Dinner tonight with DD#2 & DSIL at a Mexican restaurant. Pretty sure chips will be involved! 😵💫9 -

11/14 90.6 kg / 199.6 lbs
11/15 88.7 kg / 195.6 lbs / I used a different scale, so I am guessing this is one of the reasons for the big drop. Also I am expecting my weight to fluctuate a lot in the coming days due to hormones..
11/16 88.3 kg / 194.7 lbs / actually surprised by this drop, but I'll take it. I went out to lunch with my colleagues today, still had only a salad but I am kind of dreading going on the scale tomorrow. Hopefully I'll finish the round strong

Goal for this round: Maintain weight while continuing to focus on strength training and running
Previous days11/8 Forgot to weigh this morning because I was in a hurry. Had a nice non scale victory on my birthday morning though and ran the best 5 miles in a long time, 3 out of the 5 miles were sub 10 minute miles which I haven’t done in a LONG time! So, I’m super excited about that 😊. Another non scale victory I forgot to mention last week was that I took my measurements and lost an inch from my hips even though my weight has gone up and down over the past month and half since starting strength training.11/16 Ran 5.75 miles this morning and my VO2 max bumped up a point, so that was a nice non scale victory. My scale got moved in the bathroom and now who knows what the “right” weight is thanks to uneven floors. It was in the same spot for a while but it must have gotten bumped. Grrrrr. The readings were wildly different this morning when I weighed, so I think I’m going on a scale hiatus for a bit. Food has been good so far today and dinner will be too. My husband went to NH to go hiking tomorrow, so it’s just me and the cat tonight hanging out. It works slightly in my favor because I can make Italian sausage with roasted cauliflower and Romanesco for dinner tonight and not here comments from the peanut gallery about the sausage (husband hates it). I might make some high fiber pasta to go with it… currently undecided about that part. Breakfast was toast and my protein drink; then, lunch was a large salad (250 g baby greens) with dark chicken meat, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice for dressing and a sliced apple on the side.
Today I’ll be catching up at work after being on vacation and then my husband is cooking us dinner while I go get a massage after work. So, it’ll be nice to get home and not have to worry/think about what’s for dinner (we were going to get Indian takeout but we some food in the fridge that needs to get cooked). Either way, I don’t have to think about it so it’s a win in my book. Have a happy Monday all!
11/9 119.4 Ugh, my body is a ball of pissed off hormones, TOM is arriving very soon and we ended up getting Indian takeout last night after all and then my mother in law surprised me with a couple treats from the bakery for my birthday which I indulged in, so hello water retention. Super tired today because I slept horribly and woke up feeling very sensitive to everything, it’s like all my senses were heightened in a panicky way. It was bizarre and reminded me of when I was younger and just “didn’t feel good” as my 10 year old self would say. I think it was just a borderline panic attack, so I hung out with my cat for a few minutes before getting my butt in gear to go for a nice slow 4 mile run to help recover from yesterday’s awesome but higher intensity run.
Food choices are going to be tough because when I’m tired I want all the foods that aren’t great for me. Even the Body Battery on my Garmin watch told me it was 43 to start the day when normally it’s 80+.
On the bright side I did have a lovely birthday and I’m looking forward to making 31 another great year for me!
11/10 118.4 pre workout 117.2 post workout. Feeling better today and was able to do a nice 6 mile run this morning. Food has been good today and I have pork tenderloin with veggies on the menu tonight for dinner. Not sure about which veggies but maybe some of the ones I already have roasted along with some salad greens and dressing.
11/11 Did not weight this morning but food was good yesterday and I’m off to a good start today as well. Did a nice slow 4 mile run this morning while catching up with my step mom. I agree with the others, this new update is not great. Not sure what’s for dinner except for another large salad from our CSA greens.
11/12 Did not post
11/13 117.something Started the day with a 7 mile long run. Breakfast and lunch were good but I ate a lot of cake batter while making the cake and frosting for the birthday celebration with my in laws tonight. Then, we’ll be getting Thai which is pretty salty so I’m sure there will be a blip up for the next couple of days.
11/14 Did not weigh. Made a baked French toast with high fiber challah bread for breakfast, Lunch was some left over Tom Kha soup and brown rice from Bi Bim Bap bowl I got for our birthday dinner last night and had one slice of the cake too. Dinner will be lots of veggies because we have an excessive amount still left from our CSA. We got behind one week on eating the majority of the veggies and now each week we have so much left over. I’m going to sauté or steam some of the greens so they’ll be easy to freeze and add to soups this winter/spring. I think I might blanch the cauliflower we have and pop it in the freezer. I’m grateful our top freezer/fridge has a really good sized freezer.
11/15 120 pre-workout. Didn’t weigh post workout. I’m cool with it. I did some comparison pictures today from various weights over the past year and a half and although I’m technically higher in weight, I noticed I’m still the same size as in my lower weights. So, I have my muscle to thank for that. Food has been good today and I had another awesome run this morning along with a strength workout during my lunch.
I also plan on catching up with this thread because it’s been a few days since I’ve been able to read everyone’s posts!

@quiltingjaine, Oh yes there would definitely need to be a schedule. That can be worked out.4

I think sharing the “duty” of starting new rounds is fine but I think there needs to be some sort of schedule to avoid 2 (or more) posting the same new round twice. It happened once that I know of. That is why I was doing the banner heading with the new link. I felt it was harder to miss that notification. Posting it early and reposting it before the end of the round. Just my thoughts. 😘
I agree a schedule would avoid 2 (or more) posting the same new round. Plus posting the round early, helps since we’re all in different time zones. 👍🏻👍🏻7 -

Round 168 (100th for me). I prove yet again round after round that I need this to help keep me on track.
@QuiltingJaine-thank you for setting up the new round.
I was so disgusted and disappointed with myself the last few day of last round; so challenge for this round is to stay on track; I'm endeavouring yet again to have a binge free 10 days, after all it is only 10 days! – I want to drop a good few pounds by the start of December as I feel more comfy in a dress I want to wear for Peaky Blinders dance night – any loss will be a win!
Covid restrictions have mostly been lifted in England – we reached “freedom day” months ago, but remember there is still a pandemic, cases are continuing to rise: Covid is still around! Continue to wash hands, be kind, wear a mask in public indoor settings, always consider others.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

Day/Weight/Comment
11/8 136.2 – better numbers ! 7.3 miles walked yesterday, calories and carbs both just slightly over, no binge.
11/9 135.8 – yes! Back to where I was 5 days ago; 2 days to gain 3+ pounds, but 3 days to lose it and feel better for it ! A binge not only brings weight gain, but makes me feel bloated, uncomfortable, lethargic, generally disgruntled and my mouth breaks out in ulcers. It's about time I leant my lesson! 11.75 miles walked yesterday, a very good food day, calories well under, carbs just 9 over. No binge!
11/10 135 - 9.57 miles walked & then a good few hours helping DS with her newly purchased bungalow; taking up old wooden floor panels, underlay, removing skirting boards then loading into the skip. Reasonable food day, just about kept with in calories, but exceeded carbs.
11/11 135 – 10.01 miles walked yesterday, excellent food choices; calories and all macros in credit.
11/12 135.6 – 3 miles only walked yesterday. Over indulged on freshly baked crusty bread, but stopped myself going into a binge. Both calories & carbs over, but I did log every mouthful which is an improvement for me. Travelled up to childmind my little toddler DGS & took him up to spend the day with DIL and 2 DGDs aged 5 months & 3, we baked cup cakes with the older two then walked to the children's playground before the return journey. A wonderful family day .
11/13 136.4 – 10.78 miles walked, ate at an Indian restaurant at 9.00pm, as you all know, there are no low calorie, low fat or low sodium choices on the menu !!! But the company made up for this, and of course I did enjoy the food ! Had a very low calorie lunch in preparation and walked to the restaurant too. I didn't even try to calculate the calories in my meal, to be honest can't remember the name of it; something like Atilia sizzling lamb ? Served with mushroom rice and naan bread, the later two items I shared with DH AND I left some of my bread, that has never been known for me !!! Plan a low calorie first half of the day, but of course Saturday is pizza night, AND will really push the water.
P.S both spoiler & BBC have worked this morning without any additional intervention from me !!
11/14 135.6 – sodium flushed away !! 11 miles walked, calories well under, carbs 9 over. A good choices day.
11/15 135.6 – 7.6 miles walked yesterday, out for lunch with some long-standing friends who have returned from living in Spain and who we have not seen for 2 years. Delicious food and no evening meal as I was still full ! Just about within calories, but carbs over.
11/16 135.6 – 9.56 miles walked yesterday, good food day, calories & all macros in limits. Had my covid booster yesterday, really lucky to report no adverse reaction.
11/17 My 1000th post on JGM10Ds !!!!! 135 – 10.57 miles walked yesterday, calories & all macros well under. Pleased to get back to this weight; it looks good 3 pounds lost, but the truth of the matter is that the I gained 2 pounds last round and 1 pound the round before by yoyo binging which I was not proud of . What I am proud of is that I had did not binge this round that is an achievement for me at the moment, and that I had 2 meals out with friends & balanced these with low calorie foods the rest of the days, Onwards to the next round !!!
KEEP SAFE EVERYONE . Keep calm – Covid is still out there take care, we're still in this together!

Very happy to join for my second round and hoping to keep the momentum going. These are the last 10 days before my fiance comes to visit and before we travel for the holidays, so I want to make them count!
Original SW - 187.8 (10/29/2021)

Day/Weight/Comment
11/08 - 182.4 Well the scale is up today, but that’s ok. I know I ate well yesterday and went for a hike. Hoping my last weigh-in wasn’t just a fluke and that the scale drops again.
11/09 - 180.8 Very happy to see the scale back down today. Ate well yesterday, though not much activity.
11/10 - 181.2 Sigh. Scale back up again for some reason. Stuck to my calories and meal plan yesterday though so will just keep at it.
11/11 - 182.6 I have no explanation for the scale going up once again. Stuck to my calories yesterday. Have to hope this is just normal fluctuation and I’ll have a big drop soon.
11/12 - 179.6 Grateful to see some forward progress. Stuck to my meal plan yesterday, though not much activity.
11/13 - 179.6 No movement, but had a reasonable and healthy eating day yesterday. Today I’m going out for lunch through so may end up seeing an increase tomorrow. Will try to get some exercise and drink lots of water to counter balance as much as possible.
11/14 - 181.4 As expected, scale is up following a salty (and delicious) restaurant meal yesterday. I was very active though (long bike ride) and drank plenty of water so hoping this goes away soon!
11/15 - 182 Was well under calories yesterday so can only assume this is again sodium related. I also feel very bloated. Hoping I flush it out of my system soon so I can end this round with a decent loss! Over 25,000 steps yesterday so quite an active weekend for me.
11/16 - 182 Not a good day yesterday. Caved to emotional eating. Not sure I’m going to make it out of this round with a loss at this point. Just hope I can get back on track and not let it spiral from here!
11/17 - 181.6 Can’t say I turned it around yesterday and am rather disappointed after a great first half of this round. But at least I didn’t gain overall and I’m still here, posting.

11/17 87.9 kg / 193.8 lbs / I am really happy with the progress I've made. The last couple of weeks have been rough and I've definitely not been anything near perfect. In the last 10 days I ate 'perfectly' for 6 days. During these days I wasn't really hungry. I'm thinking of speeding up the weight loss process, I don't want it to take 60 rounds, by eating less. I did 6 minutes of running this round, that's fine because I just started running (again).10 -
Fell off the wagon and missed a few rounds but I’m back and recommitted!

Day/Weight/Comment:
11/8 – 234 - Back to where I was in August. Not good but looking forward not back!
11/9 – 231.2 – Met all round goals yesterday and feeling pretty great!
11/10 – 231.8 – I got some not so great news yesterday so all the healthy eating and goals went out the window. Honestly, surprised that the uptick wasn’t more! But today will be a good day.
11/11 – 229.2 – So happy with this number, just hope it’s real! Yesterday I ate well and exercised. Just gotta keep going! (PS - I hate this mfp update grrrrr)
11/12 – 228.2 – I had a subway salad last night but I didn’t get all the extra sauces like I normally do. I also worked out twice in am and pm and will try to keep doing that.
11/13 – 229 – My partner convinced me to have pizza last night but it was yummy and I tried to control my portions! I worked out once yesterday in the am.
11/14 - DNW
11/15 – 229.2 – Fine with this as this weekend was a toughie. Here’s to a new week!
11/16 – 229.2 – Stayed under my calorie goal but didn’t work out
11/17 – 228.8 – Pretty good round for me and managed to lose in 5.2lbs. On to the next round!
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

11/17 - 148.4 - There it is, the big drop I was hoping for. And, for once, on the last day of the round! I've got a few more days to see if I can drop a little more. Still getting all systems running normally again in this body of mine. Yesterday I had a breakfast bowl of sausage, egg, and a bit of cheese (courtesy of BF). Lunch was the chicken wrap I had the day before. Dinner was homemade chicken lo mein and dessert was my less-sweet banana bread. Finished off my bottle of wine (not quite a full glass worth) so it doesn't go bad and drank all 90oz of my water. Got a walk in with the pup as well. Today's dinner is up for debate but I'll be having leftover chicken and dumplings for lunch. We also booked a hotel Friday at Fam's suggestion (same hotel, different room) since packet pick up is 7:30am, my race starts 8:30 (theirs at 8) and it's a 2.5 hour drive. I have 2 days to see a drop before I run so I really need to stay on track these next couple days!
Previous Day's Comments11/08 - Chili for dinner, that's all I can say about this. 80 oz water, only 10oz shy of what I normally try to drink so much better. Probably retaining some of it while I work to rehydrate. It will likely take a few days to flush out. Time change has my sleep messed so that's likely not helping, either. My birthday camping trip is this weekend since we had to postpone. Will be busy getting everything ready for that (:
11/09 - I'm beyond bloated this morning. Uncomfortably so, but at least not painful. BF had a gurgly stomach last night and he's thinking it was the chili finally getting to him. I'm wondering if that's my problem as well. No proper TMI is also adding to the scale. Water was okay, about 80oz. Instead of a workout, we reorganized house to bring BF's office back in the house now that it's getting a tad too chilly to be in the garage. It has a window unit AC, but no heat in there. Hopefully come January, we will be in a good enough place to look to buy a house that suits our needs so we don't have to have him taking over our dining room. (Especially frustrating when I'm working from home and he has to be on camera. The front door is in full view and only a corner of the living room is hidden. I have to plan my potty breaks, me leaving/coming home, and getting food from the kitchen around his meeting schedule to avoid being on camera.) Today I'm not sure about anything. Crazy meetings coming up right around the time it is warm/light enough out to walk. And food, well, getting ready for a weekend away so we've been trying to use up perishables before we go, limiting my healthy selection. I think I have one bag of salad left I might munch on.
11/10 - Better day yesterday! Did have a small bedtime snack of caramel popcorn to kill sweet tooth cravings. Thankfully it's really sweet to me so a small handful was more than enough. Other than that, stayed fairly well on track food-wise. Also managed my full 90oz water, yippee! Leftover tacos from dinner I'll munch on at lunch. Likely make more of a salad out of it than a taco like last night. Avoid those carbs. Unsure of dinner. BF was craving wings and the only good place in town to that has wings was closed last night so I'm anticipating eating out tonight. I should be able to plan around that, though.
11/11 - Quite happy with this drop off despite eating out last night. I was careful with food throughout the day and tried to make decent choices with what we have. Work sent me a $10 Starbucks gift card and my mom sent me $10 cash as well for Veteran’s day. BF has an awful day at work today (and is also a Veteran) so I’ll use those $20 to get us something from there. (We neither like Starbucks, but free is free. Long story short, he had a very bad experience with corporate telling him he’s a baby killer and they didn’t support the military while trying to order items while deployed. Target did something like that as well so we take our business elsewhere. They even took the money but refused to ship anything. It was all basic stuff like toothpaste, toothbrush, toilet paper.) Anyway, that’s my splurge. Tonight will be a nice dinner of pork chops, collard greens, and salad from Fam. Tomorrow will be my last weigh-in until Monday as we are tent camping and I won’t have my scale.
11/12 - Didn’t really want to post this. We had an amazing all out dinner of pork chops, collard greens (made the not as healthy way), fried okra, smoked venison sausage, rice, and gravy. Whew. Delicious, but my body definitely is showing the aftermath today. Quite alright, our meals for camping are straightforward and portioned for the weekend. Water wasn't exactly ideal. Will work on that best I can today pending the 2.5 hour drive. We have plenty of water coming with us, though, so shouldn't be a problem. Tomorrow marks 1 week until my 5k and I'm not ready still haha I pulled off a 5k on Halloween, though, so I don't see why I can't pull off this one. Plus, I'll have other runners around me to use as motivation to keep going unlike Halloween.

11/14 - DNP
11/15 - Well, that was interesting. Food was controlled (until last night) but water was a tad tricky. The bathrooms were not close like the map showed when I picked the campsite. It was also FRIGID. Ended up getting down to about 26 degrees Friday night. Needless to say, I didn’t drink enough water because I was NOT getting out of my sleeping bags (yes I had more than one. Thankfully) Last night we were so tired after unloading we went to the local Chinese food place so he could get sushi and I got sesame chicken. Not the best choice, but I was just happy to be somewhere warm and wanted warm food. Back on track today with water and food. Need to stop at the store to get some fresh veggies this afternoon for me to munch on. Saturday is race day so I’m hoping I get back down and this bloat/weight doesn’t make it that much more difficult. Goal is back to 146 or so by Saturday. Even better if lower.
11/16 - It's a little drop, but a drop nonetheless. I feel like the bloating has gone down quite a bit, but I'm still feeling heavy. Likely due to no proper TMI yet. Hopefully here in the next few days! Lunch was a "grilled" chicken wrap (pan grilled, that is) with spinach, bell pepper, and avocado. Dinner was homemade chicken and dumplings. BF even allowed me to make my drop dumplings again! (I love baking and they taste even better than biscuits). Also made homemade banana bread (cut back on the sugar a tad) with the leftover bananas I had to freeze before camping. Also hit my 90oz of water. Today I have a choice of another chicken wrap or more chicken dumplings for lunch (thinking wrap because my avocado won't last). Dinner will likely be homemade asian food of some sort. Thinking of trying my hand at miso soup if BF is alright with it. I've made it before but not like FamWife does (I had powdered miso, she buys the squeezey bottle of it and it looks so much simpler) Thinking of getting dressed here in a few once it gets lighter out to take pup (and my lazy bum) for a walk. It'll be a nice prep for Saturday. I'm still not ready and I'm starting to get nervous.9 -

Day/Weight/Previous Day’s Comment
11/8 207.9 Walked 3.3 miles, ? cal, ? net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Wonderful jazz music brunch at Brennan’s with our adult children (they threw in their credit cards and would not let us pay), 60th birthday celebration for DH since we had the kids all together. Walked through our daughter’s new home built in 1948 … definitely a fixer upper in an up and coming area of town. She told her siblings she was pregnant at brunch. So much celebration this weekend. Taking my mom to the airport today and pulling the plug on gluttony for the rest of the week!
11/9 207.4 Walk 3 miles, Bike 20 min, ? cal, ? net carbs, AF.
11/10 206.7 Walked 1.3 + 1.3 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, weeding garden, ? cal, ? net carbs, AF. Still not journalling my food but I am paying more attention Mon & Tues. TODAY is the day I pull it all back together water, tracking every bite and exercise. Took the leftover pumpkin cookies & pear cake from the baby shower to alumnae social event last night instead of a bottle of wine. All the sweet temptations are gone!
11/11 205.5 Walked 1.6 + 3.1 + 1 miles, 1524 cal, 114 net carbs, AF. Donated blood (targeting 4x per year). Started journaling my food for the day in the morning again and then updating it throughout the day. Definitely makes me think before putting something else in my tummy and I’m more accountable.
11/12 207.0 Walked 1.8 + 1.4 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, 2267 cal, 151 net carbs, Torchy’s Tini. DH went to happy hour with clients. My sister stopped by to drop something off so we ended up going out as well. After I returned home I walked the dog once more before DH returned.
11/13 207.4 Walked 3.7 + 3.1 miles, 1642 cal, 118 net carbs, 2 glasses wine.
11/14 209.3 Walked 1 mile, 2431 cal, 242 net carbs, 1 wine, 1 blackberry liqueur w/ soda water. 11550 steps shopping at the Nutcracker Market with DD. DH’s birthday celebration with dear friends that included purple & gold layered cake.
11/15 207.1 Walked 3.2 miles, 1562 cal, 69 net carbs, 1 glass wine.
11/16 206.6 Walked 3.2 + 1 miles, 1574 cal, 126 net carbs, AF. Enjoyed book club eating reasonably at the restaurant and didn’t join the others drinking wine. Recommend “The Lost Apothecary” by Sarah Penner.
11/17 207.3 Walked 1 mile, Strength Training 1 hr, 1824 cal, 119 net carbs, 3 glasses wine.
Up and down and all around. Not a lot of progress since my vacation gain in October.
Where is my mind ... obviously not making the best choices.10 -

I like to track averages due to my wild fluctuations. For the same reason, I like to weigh daily so I can see the lows from time to time. It gives me hope.

I have NO explanation for this bump up from yesterday. Ok, yes I do but it involves an overabundance of information.
11/9: 206.6
Marginal day of following my self-imposed rules yesterday.
11/10: 205.6
Important work being done here. I wish I could remember that every day.
Had a spinning class last evening after work. I was there a few minutes early so I decided to do some upper body dumb-bell exercise. Very proud of myself for staying in my lane. The young lady next to me was using twice the weight I was lifting. Others were at many multiples more. I put my ego in my pocket and wasn’t even tempted to “look strong,” or “feel week!”
Very satisfying muscle soreness this morning and no injuries. Getting wise in my old age.
11/11: 206.2
I am totally fine in this neighborhood. I need to train my metabolism to like it here. I need my metabolism to trust me. “No Mr. Metabolism, I will never starve you. So, you can burn away at your heart’s content. No need to hoard calories and store them for later!”
OK, that was weird.
11/12: 205.6
This new format reminds me what it feels like to unexpectedly see friends from back home while you are on vacation.
11/13: 205.8
This reading is better than I deserve after yesterday’s behavior. Regardless, I am at my lowest 10-day running average since September.
Looks like they have reinstated things so I can at least post the way I usually do. I keep a Word document and copy/paste from it each day. And the spoilers are back, 😊
Still can’t check in on your posts with my phone.
11/14: 205.2
Worked my buns off yesterday in the yard. (too bad buns are not my “problem” area. HA!) Ate half a frozen pizza and still lost weight! The rest of yesterday’s food was reasonable.
Today will be another story. Pizza out with folks to celebrate Mom’s birthday, then a turkey dinner+potluck for supper at church before the annual meeting.
Still can’t check in on your posts with my phone.
11/15: 208.2
As expected. Good Monday to all of you.
11/16: 206.6
This is shaping up to be an ok round. I need to make hay while the sun shines, because the next round ends Saturday after Thanksgiving (US). 😊
Glad my phone access to MFP Communities is back!
11/17: 205
Last year at this time I had already begun to succumb to my typical holiday feast weight gain. I have not started that yet this year. Fingers and toes crossed for a little while longer.
This round was a wild success for me. I met my goals. Can’t let up.

Let’s do this!
This is round 8 for me.
161 SW: 222.2
EW: 221.6
162 EW: 218.6
163 EW: 211.8
164 EW: 211.6
165 EW: 206.0
166 EW: 206.2
167 EW: 203.2
Round 168 goals: Pelo 2-3x/week; strength training 2-3x/week; 10,000 steps/day; <90 net carbs/day; lose as much weight as I can!
SW: 203.2
11/8: 201.8 53 net carbs, Pelo ride done, and step goal achieved. I’m starting to see a pattern emerging with the way my body loses now- stalling for about 2 weeks surrounding TOM, then suddenly dropping a lot all at once for about 10 days before starting the pattern again. That makes it feel like I have very little time each month to lose, but if it’s going to be bunch within those 10 days, then it’s really not so bad after all.
11/9: 201.6 63 net carbs, step goal achieved, and strength workout done. I had an incident where I had my injera recipe put into the MFP recipe calculator previously, but made it a little different this time but didn’t edit the recipe until after I already ate it. Still managed to pull off a good day in spite of the injera incident though, so I’m happy with that 0.2 loss! I also am wearing a pair of size 10 jeans today- the first time I’ve actually worn them since I bought them a few weeks ago as a motivator. Talk about a confidence boost!
11/10: 200.8 I’m so close to under 200 I can taste it! I was concerned pizza night night cause issues, but it obviously didn’t. 77 net carbs, step goal hit, and Pelo ride done. Come on 199!!!
11/11: 201.8 Well, here we are again. I’m not exactly surprised, just disappointed. I was hoping for another day or two to drop below 200 before the hormonal stall. No such luck. If this time around is anything like last time, that puts the end of the stall coming on Thanksgiving, just in time for the feasting day. Womp womp. Lol But it’ll pass, I know that! I can still very easily see <200 by the end of the month! 70 net carbs, step goal achieved, and strength training done yesterday.
11/12: 200.8 39 net carbs, step goal hit, and Pelo ride done. Maybe, just maybe I’ll see that 199 tomorrow yet. If not, then I’m sure it’ll be another couple of weeks. We’re attending a weeding out of state tomorrow evening, which means eating a few meals out this weekend. It’ll be what it’ll be, and I’ll be under 200 pretty darn soon regardless!
11/13:199.8 YAHOOOOOOO!! All I wanted was to see that 1 in front by today. We’re heading out of town for a wedding and I just wanted that 199.x before a little bit of planned indulgence. 34 net carbs and step goal achieved yesterday.
11/14: DNW carbs ??? Step goal ??? Wedding out of town last night, so I gave myself permission to enjoy the night after I had a well navigated lunch. Back at it today!
11/15: 199.0 I really had no idea what to expect, after the wedding and riding in the car for 5 hours each day both Saturday and Sunday. I was shocked in the most delightful way to see this drop! 21 net carbs and a Pelo ride done yesterday. Didn’t hit my step goal due to car ride, but still a successful day!
11/16: 198.4 I really thought I was starting the dreaded monthly stall a few days ago, but apparently not?! Whatever, I’ll take it! 56 net carbs yesterday, step goal only missed by a few, and accidental forgot my strength training due to driving my husband to the airport which took 2.5 hours. I’ll get it in today, no worries!
11/17: 198.2 I’m quite happy with this. I thought for sure this round was going to be a bust. 57 net carbs yesterday, Pelo ride done, step goal achieved, and strength training session that I accidentally forgot Monday was even made up. Bring on the next round!
