    I managed 21AF days for November.

    Going for my usual goal of 16-20 AF days

    Diary style

    Wednesday December 1 - AF - Had to start the month out right.
    Thursday December 02 - AF - Planned drinks tomorrow evening.

    Rolling Total: 2AF days out of 2 days.

    Snacking instead of imbibing in alcohol is interesting.

    I find that a bit of alcohol pretty much changes my whole eating, and definitely removes willpower not to eat "bad" stuff. Some stuff I only eat if I am having alcohol. When I was still tolerant of red wine I would only have steak on my planned drinks days (hours) for example. Of course I have had steak since - sans the wine, but feel like pairing it with wine would have been more delicious.

    I am sometimes guilty of foregoing healthy calories to fit the calories from booze and snacks in and stay within my range.

    Does anybody eat more when they are drinking?
    Does anybody eat less when they are drinking?
    Do the substitutes of snacks help control alcohol cravings?

    Curious to know what y'all think about this.

    For me the answer is no, yes, no. Being a smaller person my calorie limits are low so to fit alcohol in I have to eat less which isn't the best thing for my macros. Or I spend more time on the treadmill to get extra calories. I don't generally have alcohol cravings. It's more that it's a habit to have a couple of drinks on the weekends.

    Friday December 03 - Drinks, Beef Karahi (from the restaurant that I work at) and salty snacks.

    Rolling Total: 2AF days out of 3 days.

    @dawnbgethealthy - Love the pictures of the lake and the freezing process! Thanks for sharing.

    Losing the battle with the open wine bottles in our house as well as the extra time when my sister drops by for a sip on the weekend. The only night I was AF this month so far was when DH and I were at a restaurant and I skipped on the wine. It does not impede my sleep or my energy the next day but I really don't want the extra calories since I'm still trying to lose the extra pounds from the 16 day roadtrip in October as well as the Thanksgiving feast!

    December accountability: 1/31 days AF
    Alcohol: 3 days (8 drinks)
    Goal: Limit 1-2 glasses per day; 12-16 AF days per month. Aim to drink no more than 2 nights in a row.

    12/01 - 2 wine
    12/02 - AF
    12/03 - 3 wine
    12/04 - 3 wine
