    Unfortunately it only takes a couple bad ones to spoil the image of all of them. My dad went into one temporarily and he got along really well there; loved the attention, joked with the staff. My BIL was in one for 3 months and loved to chat with people, anybody he met in the hallways he'd strike up a conversation with. Those 2 particular nursing homes were absolutely wonderful and the caregivers were really kind and caring to the residents. When and if the time comes, my wish for you and your mom is that you find a place just like them.

    We are to live our life, feel our emotions, live the human experience for some purpose we are unaware of.
    For others we’re unaware of.
    That have always been here.

    The annual 2 lb box of See's candy a client sends us. Instead of immediately unboxing it and leaving it in the boss' office because he gets the first piece, I just stuck it in there for him to open or have me open when he gets in. Or else my mouth would be covered in chocolate. :)

    Yeeeeeeah, so the See's candy plus we got some Harry and David stuff, and Milkbar cookies and pie. The pie was lemon meringuey and dangerous.
