Hello Everyone from before and Newbies!
I'm Mary 64, 5'4" from Pennsylvania. My goal is to get back down AGAIN to 122 lbs. Kept it off for about 5 years and then got lazy. My body just stores Carbs too easily. I work long hours and exercise on my 3 off days/week, making up for my 4 work days. I started this challenge in November and will continue through December and January. Jan 2: 144.3. Didn't stay within maintenance calories last 2 days. Old problem of eating after I get home from a social thing. Need to go right to bed.
Jan 3: 142.4. Again above maintenance calories yesterday, but I avoided after dinner eating, so that was a success. Met my other goals.
Jan 4: 142.2. Met yesterday's goals.
Jan 5: 142.4. Over calorie goal and didn't walk yesterday.

Jan 7: 142.0. Missed exercise goal but met the others.

Jan 11: 142.2. Met goals yesterday. I cut back my nightly wine by half. I'd like to cut it out completely for 3 or 4 nights per week but I need a little time to get my head around that. I'll think about health and taking care of myself and that will help me get there.

I am Jeanette. I have been at 157lbs for ever. My goal is to be at 150 by the end of this month.
Goals:
Exercise daily. Minimum of 5000 steps daily
Diet: limit fast food once per week
Water: limit one diet drink per day and increase water intake
January 1: 157
January 2: 156
January 3: 155.5 3 mile hike in cold temperature
January 4: 154.5 what just happened! Letβs see if the number holds
January 5: 155.0 yesterday was my eat fast food, drink πΊ and π₯§ I think you call it Cheat day but I did walk for 30 minutes. Not bad half pound up.
January 6: 154.5 Didnβt get steps in but hula hooped for 30 minutes
January 7: 155 Had a late yummy dinner, 15 minutes hula hoop
January 8: 154.5 Dinner out, no workout
January 9: 156 worked different shift, no sleep, eating off schedule, stress
January 10: 154.5 back to normal schedule
January 11-12 155.0 π€ scale not moving
January 13-14 154.5 maybe too many carbs?
January 15 154.5 So I completed a 7 mile hike this morning. Down carbs( how I love thee) π with protein. Letβs see what happens7 -

π πΆππ»ββοΈπ΄π»ββοΈ Exercising daily (at least 20 minutes total - not always an accurate time since I don't have a fitness watch, use my phone, and I'm not allowed to have my phone with me during the day at work, but it won't get a thumbs up unless I'm sure I've hit that 20-minute mark)
π Tracking every meal
βοΈ Weighing myself daily is a given for me, so this will be the easiest one for me to accomplish.
Highest Weight: Somewhere between 227-230... I don't know. I avoided the scale.
Return to MFP after ~ 5-6 year absence (June 11, 2020) = 216.9
Starting weight for this challenge (January 1, 2022) = 191.6
Goal weight loss for January - just back into the 180s somewhere would make me happy at this point.

01/12/2022 - Ummm.... Oops, I forgot to weigh myself this morning - I overslept and was in a rush. - πβπ - Ate out tonight on the way to chorus practice. Panda Express. Usually I do the "super greens" with my entrΓ©e, but tonight I did the noodles. And... instead of one of the lower calorie entrΓ©es, I had the orange chicken. And crab rangoon. And a fortune cookie. THEN... I got to practice and they had pizza! Did I say "no, thank you?" No, I did not. And deposited a couple more cookies as well to my fat bank. Someone just shoot me now, okay?
01/13/2022 - βοΈ 195.2 (-0.3 / +3.6) - π πΆπβπ - I actually drank about the same amount of water as soda today... but the real "winner" for liquids today was beer. To be specific, Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale and Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout (the stout is better, IMHO). Despite that, I did well enough with my food that, even though I was over calories, it wasn't as bad as it's been recently.

Hello Everyone from before and Newbies!
I'm Mary 64, 5'4" from Pennsylvania. My goal is to get back down AGAIN to 122 lbs. Kept it off for about 5 years and then got lazy. My body just stores Carbs too easily. I work long hours and exercise on my 3 off days/week, making up for my 4 work days. I started this challenge in November and will continue through December and January. 1/14/21-165.8 lbs- Been a looonnng 3 days of work. Pretty beat without more than 5 hours sleep each night. Did almost 16 hours each day, except 14 hours today. I can sleep Saturday till I wakeup without an alarm. :-) 5 days same weight too, hoping for a decent drop tomorrow or Sunday. Stayed on track so maybe not enough rest time for my body to recover.
1/15/22-162 lbs! :-) A BIG WHOOSH, FINALLY! Did 247 minutes on my Elliptical for 17 miles.
