Not petty but... back in 1987 I took a photo of myself next to an old WW2 aircraft. I was 23. I was slim. The aircraft has travelled a few hundred km to a new museum, and I want to recreate the photo, similar clothing, similar body size.23

To prove my mom, who is the biggest nay-sayer I’ve ever known, wrong. Mainly, though, because I want to feel fit and healthy.15

Now that COVID nightmare is over(kinda) I'd like to get in shape to start going on active holidays.9

I've just decided that I'm going to lose the weight - period. I'm sick of my excuses, I'm sick of giving in to "comfort" and being "okay" with life in general - doing so (in other areas of my life as well) did a grand job of screwing me over during the covid mess, and I'm not about to ever fall for that trap again. It's going to take daily consistency, 2.5 months down, rest of my life to go.
It's really not a petty reason, but my petty reason now is probably similar to what it was - I want to be at the track, rocking my ride, and having the body to go with my results.9 -

I have also cut way back. So glad not to rely on it as a crutch and necessity. When I see alcoholic behavior, it just reminds me how I don't want to end up that way. It's also not good for your health. Oh, and the feeling the day after...no thank you. For those reasons, not petty. For just calories... maybe...but I don't think you should feel petty about making a healthier choice for your body.6 -

Yes! Stick it to the mom! Lol5 -
I want to wear thongs again instead of belly warmers 👙 😏8

Goes without saying, we all want to look good…. Having spent 10 years badly out of shape my goal was to get back to how I was in my early 20s, took me almost a year of hard work but I achieved this back in 2019, COVID hit, and I’m almost back where I started…. And in need of encouragement.
But my daft reason for wanting to lose it, back when I first started my weight loss journey was my ex wife and the hurtful things she would say…. that gave me the drive to prove her wrong!

I have a closet of nice quality clothing that I can no longer wear and it kills me. I want to get back into all of my favorite outfits.12

I want to be hot before I get “old” 😂 btw… old is like 80 now😁!
I want to fit into an outfit that someone commented “I should get rid of because I’ll never fit in it again” 😠
Not petty.. but I want a boob reduction & lift, but I want to be at a happy weight before going under the knife!14 -
I'd like to buy a pair of jeans that are worth the investment.
If I have to buy one more pair of subpar jeans that only more-or-less fit, only to have the thighs wear out in less than a year so that I have to repeat the cycle all over again... I will burn down a Belk, so help me.9 -
@therealme I want to be hot before I get “old” 😂 btw… old is like 80 now😁!
This is so Me, unfortunately in the 50's and Old is knocking on the door.8 -
To look sexy naked, to be so sexy that a man will listen to whatever I say and do whatever I want.. 😏9

I want to lose with to be smaller than my mom, there s something about being heavier than her that bothers me so bad. I want to be smaller than my husband, in fact he needs to lose weight too but I won't let him diet till I pass him, lol, so in about 10-15 more pounds lost I will let him start.
I want to be the skinny sister. Both of my sisters are overweight too, but I want to be the one that looks good in family photos.
I have a box of "skinny" clothes from before I had my twins from over 7 years ago. I have held on to them for so long I want to fit in them so so so bad.7 -
I love the 1950s look but at a UK size 20 I don’t feel comfortable wearing it and people looking at me. In two years I want to be on holiday in Cuba, feeling fabulous, floating into Havana in a Cadillac. 😊10

10 day Holiday booked for October - will be very active with lots of water sports available, want to be able to make the most of it without feeling self conscious for a moment.
Also, (and this is worse ) Sibling has announced wedding in September. Other sibling has new partner who is lovely and properly gorgeous. Slender, blonde, legs up to her ears etc I'm already 20 years older, I don't also want to look twice the size!!9 -
I'm a YouTuber and TikToker and if I see my bulgy belly in a video, I delete and reshoot. My 13 year old says, "Nobody sees the belly but you". That's my petty reason, lol.10

1.) I need my aunt to stop editing and giving me food advice (always in front of other people) ever again. She notices if anyone gains even a single Kg. "Don't eat bread and rice. Maybe you ate the way you did because you didn't gain weight before but that won't last forever because you are starting to gain alot of weight now."
2.) I don't have space for two sets of clothes 😑 chunky clothes and normal clothes. Just want to feel like my old self again.15
