Hi 👋🏼 I'm Viva. I just signed up on Myfitnesspal yesterday. Today is day 1. I have never tracked my meals before (except to track allergies). The past two years have been rough. I have been making unhealthy choices to cope with the diagnosis and treatment of an autoimmune condition. I couldn't imagine it possible gaining 15 kgs in two years. My mental health has affected my body and now I'm going to do something about it to avoid being pre-diabetic.
I hope this helps me stay consistent and accountable.

Ok so I reaiise I goofed with my first check in last week. I was in the 15's not the 16's range lol! I used to be in the 16's last year and my brain still automatically goes there !
Anyways I'm so excited with a loss this week! I've been stuck in the 15st 10 range for a while, so it's nice to see it go down to the 15st 8 range!! Yay!!

OK, here we go towards Summer Holiday. Very hectic last 6 months: lost some weight during first challenge but lost it and barely maintained weight during fall and winter. Now motivated to get in shape for the Summer of 2022:

My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST.
