    Because we never grow up. My 83 year old father is the same.     A lot today. Two work. One not so work :)

    1. My boss went out of town which gives me some time to clean up my not very organized area. You'd think! Too many crisis' I have to deal with.
    2. Bought the firm (well, the boss bought the firm) a network copier/printer that gets overused as a printer when there's also a perfectly good network printer that doesn't get used now. The toner is wayyyyyyy more expensive for the copier than the printer.
    3. Oh god. THREE!

    I am 13 years old. (NOT LITERALLY MODS!!!!!!!) I like One Direction and most of the solo stuff the boys have put out. Mostly Harry Styles. Anyway, I check out his tumblr page which is full of teen and very young adult girls of all sexualities. There's a subset of fans who believe Harry and his ex bandmate, Louis, are romantic soulmates and find it easy to make EVERYTHING about them.

    There's this song called Perfect that both wrote on (along with 5 other writers) that was said to be about Taylor Swift (she and Harry "dated" for a few months). Anyway, this subset of fans think it's really about Louis.

    I keep fighting these people because, if you pay attention to the lyrics, it's CLEARLY about how the guy is not good boyfriend material. I mean, seriously, from the first verse(!!!!!!)

    I might never be your knight in shinin' armor
    I might never be the one you take home to mother
    And I might never be the one who brings you flowers
    But I can be the one, be the one tonight

    And someone actually pointed out the "but I can be the one" part but neglected to keep reading...or listening.

    So, yeah, my reaction to all this stupidly is irking me. :)

    Whew! Whatever happened to that irrational anger thread? :)

    When calorie tracking becomes a part of your life, it enters your dreams too. I had the beginnings of a decent dream this morning. I was on holiday, enjoying the walks on the beach and came back to the hotel room to a basket of tiny cookies. I ate one, thought this tastes excellent. I turn over the packaging to check the calories and it says 1400/piece. So that's it! That's my whole allowance for the day. Roll into a ball on the floor.

    And then I woke up. The dream had potential before it turned to 💩

    Ooh I'd be your irk. :( I take everything personally and right to my core. If you told me the weather was crappy, I'd blame myself. If you told me you liked my shoes, I'd think maybe my other shoes aren't good enough.

    Tags in clothing. The worst offenders being paperish tags in things that touch bare skin constantly, like workout wear and sleepwear.
