This is a typical routine for both the summer holidays and getting close to my goal weight - my weight shoots back up!
Obviously my behaviour makes it shoot back up, itβs not magic, but I still donβt like it. Part of the problem is once Iβm no longer looking βtoo bigβ to anyone else, I feel bad about showing restraint in social situations, but in reality, to not end up overweight again will require restraint in the long run. Also, I think my body does try to get me back to where I was a bit, making restraint harder.
No more weigh-in days this month, so onwards and downwards next month!6 -

Didn't check weight last week because I was about to start my period and didn't want to get discouraged and quit because of bloating weight.8 -

It's very wise to look forward and recognize your loss rate may decrease. It will come and go, and you may even have a week where you gain. Keep your head clear, and over time you'll continue making progress. Don't let the little trip-ups that are inevitable cause too much stress. Just keep on going!

Not much difference in 4 weeks but at least i have been consistent in tracking my calories intake .i will try my best for the remaining 3 days of july and next month.losing weight require much discipline but it is not impossible .Good luck to all ,together we will achieve our goalβΊ.

And being consistent with tracking is definitely one of the keys. Even when I have days that are over - some WAY over - I still keep track. My body does, so I might as well make a note of it. This helps find places to improve, and it puts little times of gain into context so I can continue to work on the goal. You're doing the same thing! Keep sticking to it!

So, we fled the sweltering, humid weather of the south and flew to Denver to take in the Rockies. Rented a car, made our way thru Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, stopping along the way to hike, river rafting and the usual touristy sightseeing stuff. The extended vacation started when we were sitting at a coffee shop in Helena, Montana when my wife mentioned Seattle was only 8 hours away. I knew I was in trouble then. My wife is a foodie, which I guess makes me somewhat a foodie. And Seattle has a lot to offer for the palate.
Happy beyond words to report I only gained 1.6 pounds. Seattle is the ultimate mecca, arguably one of the best foodie cities in America (quoting my wife here). Last foodie trip we took a few years ago was to San Francisco and I gained almost 7 pounds. So yes, I am ecstatic with a slight gain.
Okay time to get serious and tip the scales in my favor. I'm energized and ready to go.

I was so sure that my July 28th weigh in would be my ending weight on July 31. Color me wrong! I am over the moon with my July numbers. Should have kept this last 2.2 lb. drop for August....lol
