Met two mini goals this week. <165lbs <26% body fat Working on my last 8 lbs.
This would put me at my goal weight and a total weight loss of 175 lbs over 16 years.
Keep moving everyone it can be done!!9 -
My mini goal for August is to lose 5 lbs. by the end of August. We'll be going on a mini vacation and as incentive I've bought a pair of jeans that are one size smaller to wear when we're away. Fingers crossed! The jeans are already in my suitcase7

As of today I've lost 10% of excess weight, next goal: 5-month-low (by end of the week hopefully). Oh, and out of "obese" range by end of next month.7

I am at 134 pounds, just 9 pounds above my goal weight of 125 (down from 245). I plan to address 3 pounds at a time. No rush, and I feel fantastic. If I'd known how much joy weight loss would bring me, I'd have done it years ago, although I did try. I just didn't commit. Even with MFPs constant issues, the daily logging and friend support cannot be denied. I couldn't have done it without MFP.20

My mother died 11 months ago and my emotional response included soothing myself with food, thus derailing all my healthy eating and weight loss efforts up to that point. I packed on a ton of weight! I badly want to get back on track and build my momentum eating healthy and exercising. My mini goal for my first week back on track is to drink my daily water and track my daily food.
As inadequate as this sentiment is, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in April 2020 and it took many false starts and until April 2022 to finally get off the emotional eating and drinking train. I admire your small goals and know exactly how hard it is to try and make those first small steps after the loss of your mom. I believe you can do this. But if you don't get there this week, be gentle with yourself. You will get there. I'm working with a coach right now for accountability and a couple weeks ago I finally said out loud, "I'm not done being sad, but I am done being stuck." I'll be rooting for your success in getting back to healthy habits and wishing you peace as you continue to grieve.8 -

My mini goal is to be able to see the "smart" features of my scale once I get back down to < 150kg (it coincide with the 50BMI mark for me too).
My previous mini-goal was to be able to see my weight (it stopped working altogether at 160kg). (smart < 150, weigh < 160)
Now 151.5kg and getting there. The next mini-goal after that will be another BMI index down (49).10 -
Being able to fit my old college nike shorts. I kept them because they are so comfortable but my thighs are just a tad too thick right now.8

I have two: to start using my exercise bike again and to get into the 180's (only a few pounds away). Happy Friday, everyone!5

Approaching my weight loss 15/20 lbs at a time is what keeps me from totally freaking out. When I started I had 155 lbs to drop. That is a mind numbing amount to consider and seems totally impossible. So I decided to look at it in 15/20 lb. increments only. I figure that amount is consistent with dropping a size. So much better to think I only need to drop 1 size in the next 2 months. But my real mini goal is to drop the covid 42 lbs that I gained. Hoping by Thanksgiving in October to have that goal under my belt and then make another mini goal.

Right now I am motivated to drop the 5 lbs I have gained over the past two months of vacationing. I was feeling so good that I got complacent and stopped tracking my food. I'm back at it now. My niece's wedding is coming up and I want to drop those 5 lbs so that my dress looks as good as it did when I bought it. I will be seeing a lot of extended family that I haven't seen in a very long time and I want to look my best.8

I'm 4 weeks away from my vacation and 8 weeks away from a friend's wedding. I would like to lose 3 pounds and 6 pounds respectively, so that I'll be under 185 for the vacation and at 180 for the wedding. Additionally, I am 12 pounds away from a "healthy" BMI and 21 pounds away from my goal weight. I'd like to lose those 12 pounds by New Years, an additional 4.5-5 by the end of March, and be at my goal weight by my two year weight loss anniversary in mid July. I think 21 pounds in 11 months is more than doable. We're talking roughly 2 pounds a month at that rate.10
-
I'm excited to get to my goal weight of 110 lbs for my next vacation. I've lost 89 pounds in these 9 months!10
-
The mini goal motivating me is to lose the next 10 lbs to reach 70KG. I started at 85 KG on 1st May 2022. I am currently hovering around 74.5 KG. My ultimate goal is to reach 65KG but one fight at a time.5

A 50kg snatch. I was so intimidated by the 40kgs but they're really doable and I think the 50kg snatch is on the horizon for me. With how I succeeded at sets of 3 reps of overhead squats at 40kg, surely I can do a 50kg snatch soon. I want it so bad.7
