    Aug 1 - 172.2 (Back from vacation and feeling good. August is going to be a great month!)
    Aug 2 - 169.6 (Busy first day back to work but stayed positive. Ate well and focused on my step goal.)
    Aug 3 - 167.6 (Dentist after work and then I'll hopefully find time for a Peloton ride or another walk, or both!)
    Aug 4 - 166.2 (Have stress at work. Afterwards I will decompress with some kind of exercise. Last night I chose to do upper body strength as my exercise of choice and it felt great.)
    Aug 5 - 165.8 (Found time to ride the Peloton last night and it felt good. Off to the lake for the weekend as soon as work is done.)
    Aug 6 - 164.6 (Nice sunny day here today. I am going to aim for 10,000 steps which will require 1-2 longer walks around our lakeside trailer park. We have a bigger dinner tonight my husband is making for our trailer friends.)
    Aug 7 - 165.8 (Yesterday I underperformed on my fitness and food plans so the return to the higher weight is completely expected. Tonight we return from the lake and have supper with friends before heading home.)
    Aug 8 - 167 (Yesterday we came back from the lake, walked to and from a friend's house for a pizza supper, and then I did some yoga and strength. A good day.)

    8/3: 184.5 lbs ⬇️ Wednesday is my usual weigh-in. Nothing to add. A bit overwhelmed by pending appointments this month. Then travel by air with my 83 dad with Parkinsons. Fretting already. I know that is not helpful healthwise. But take a deep breath and move one foot forward.

    8/10: 185 lbs ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Wednesday regular weigh-in. This week I finally sorted through some of my mom's pictures. Being more active using the treadmill. Still overeating at dinner. Lots a things to work on.

    08/11-198.0-(Trend Weight 199.6)- I had a mini-binge last night because I skipped lunch and threw away exactly half of my dinner. I had terrible heart episodes all evening and night and was closer to 911 than I have ever been so appetite was gone until very late when I ate. Blood pressure was running way too low for hours 81/51 but pulse kept running at about 100-105 resting. I had to instruct my son on the nitro, just in case, clear a spot for an ambulance gurney to get in (among this remodel mess), talk to him about aspirin for me, and lay down because fainting was a very real possibility. I sipped a lot of water in case it was dehydration (water pill yesterday). I tried to stay calm. I hooked myself to my Bi-pap machine for some regular breathing and it finally subsided. Of course, I am very far from a hospital and didn’t want to go through that unless I absolutely had to. Finally, feeling better at 11:30 PM, I was hungry and ate. It was not really a binge or unreasonable, but I tried snacks first which didn’t work, then went on to eat a small meal. But the two added together put me over calorie by about 400. I should have skipped the snacks and went right to the meal. BP this morning is 82/53 but pulse is much better at 86 and heart is not beating out of chest. Very strange on the pulse since they put me specifically on a med to lower pulse. It’s been running 80’s to low 90’s which is normal. I’m not sure what happened, that is why I sipped plenty of water because dehydrations can cause this problem too. More water today, and today is not a normally scheduled waterpill anyway. Maybe the stress of this very quick wedding planning is getting to me. Maybe complications from surgery. I am keeping an eye on it for sure and I hope it don’t interfere with my reunion dinner tomorrow. Driving could be out. The dinner is about 2 ½ hours from my home as we are all “meeting in the middle” of where we live. We’ll see how today goes.

    08/12-197.8-(Trend Weight 199.4)- Eating was not very good yesterday with daughter and grandson here for the weekend. Homemade chocolate banana walnut muffins and real 2% milk. I’m surprised to see a drop. I stuck to plan on meals but there was no room for that hefty snack! Blood pressure is still running way to low with the average being about 82/53 and pulse still running a bit high. It’s in the mid 90’s but should be much lower due to the lopresser medication I’m on. Watching it carefully but felt okay yesterday. Glucose is still much too high and the muffins didn’t make things any better. Staying away from them today! I have my reunion dinner tomorrow at a buffet. I’m going to try to eat like a lady tomorrow.

    I’ve got my calories and logging under control, my macros somewhat under control, my water intake under control. Now, I want to lower my sodium intake and up my daily step goal! I have a doctors appointment at the end of the month and would like some good news….I know I have a long way to go but I have to get there some time.

    8/2: 220 Increased my step count ✅ Stayed under my sodium goal ✅
    Sore back today 😞
    8/3: 219.5 Met my step count but didn’t increase, went 45 mg over sodium 🤷🏻‍♀️
    8/4: 220 Under step goal ✖️Under sodium goal✅
    8/5: 219.5 under step goal✖️over sodium goal✖️Work was a nightmare, barely slept, ugh! 3 days off now, hoping to decompress and reset!
    8/6 219.5 Yesterday was a really tough day, didn’t hit any of my goals except water

    8/8: 218 I have hit my mini goal of 218 and this means I have gone from Class 3 Obesity to Class 2. I have mixed emotions about this….
    8/9: 219 just a pound, I can deal with it

    8/11: 218 Didn’t even remotely hit my step goal✖️ Under sodium✅
    Yesterday was tough. Worked a silly long shift and ate way under calories. It was time for bed and I was so tired but I still needed to eat 400 calories. I’m aware this is not a healthy, sustainable way to lose weight. I just couldn’t do it, bed won out. Hoping to make up for it today or just move on.
    8/12: 218 Oops, not a stellar day, didn’t make step goal ✖️was over sodium✖️
    However, I’m on vacation until 8/22! Plans fell through so it is a staycation but I have plenty to do! So happy!
    8/13: 217.5 Increased my step goal✅ Stayed under my sodium goal✅ Yesterday was a stellar day, lots of swimming, lots of walking, ate great, went to bed happy! Staycation agrees with me!

Scale will be up again tomorrow, especially from the drive/sitting. The food won’t help either but I’ll be extra careful on Sunday. I want to stay in Onederland.

    08/14-200.2-(Trend Weight 199.4)- What a wonderful reunion of old friends it was yesterday! I’m so glad I felt well enough to go. Sadly, I have dipped out of Onederland but I will work on that today. Especially since I see a new dr. tomorrow (endocrinologist) for my diabetes. I guess my family dr who has been managing it has simply given up and I don’t blame her.

    Aug 7 - 165.8 (Yesterday I underperformed on my fitness and food plans so the return to the higher weight is completely expected. Tonight we return from the lake and have supper with friends before heading home.)
    Aug 8 - 167 (Yesterday we came back from the lake, walked to and from a friend's house for a pizza supper, and then I did some yoga and strength. A good day.)

My husband is going for a long bike ride as he's training for a Gran Fondo so the dog and I will be hanging at our trailer. Will try to get her out for a few short walks before it gets too hot.)
    Aug 14 - 163.8 (Feels good to see my second day in a row in my maintenance range since I got back from holidays. I planned my food well yesterday and got my 10K steps. My husband leaves from the lake to head north for a business trip this evening so my Mom is coming out for a BBQ and visit and then I'll go back home with her.)

    I’ve got my calories and logging under control, my macros somewhat under control, my water intake under control. Now, I want to lower my sodium intake and up my daily step goal! I have a doctors appointment at the end of the month and would like some good news….I know I have a long way to go but I have to get there some time.

    Yesterday was tough. Worked a silly long shift and ate way under calories. It was time for bed and I was so tired but I still needed to eat 400 calories. I’m aware this is not a healthy, sustainable way to lose weight. I just couldn’t do it, bed won out. Hoping to make up for it today or just move on.
    8/12: 218 Oops, not a stellar day, didn’t make step goal ✖️was over sodium✖️
    However, I’m on vacation until 8/22! Plans fell through so it is a staycation but I have plenty to do! So happy!
    8/13: 217.5 Increased my step goal✅ Stayed under my sodium goal✅ Yesterday was a stellar day, lots of swimming, lots of walking, ate great, went to bed happy! Staycation agrees with me!
    8/14: 217.5 Literally did nothing yesterday. Fed the cats and took two naps. Did not increase my step goal✖️ Stayed under my sodium goal✅

    Aug 1 - 172.2 (Back from vacation and feeling good. August is going to be a great month!)
    Aug 2 - 169.6 (Busy first day back to work but stayed positive. Ate well and focused on my step goal.)
    Aug 3 - 167.6 (Dentist after work and then I'll hopefully find time for a Peloton ride or another walk, or both!)
    Aug 4 - 166.2 (Have stress at work. Afterwards I will decompress with some kind of exercise. Last night I chose to do upper body strength as my exercise of choice and it felt great.)

    Mary 65 from Pennsylvania. Goal weight 122 lbs. Was there in 2009/10 and kept it off for about 5 years and got lazy. I do low Carb 15+/- 3 Net Carbs/day(My body seems to hang on to Carbs/not burn them),1000-1200 calories daily, 2 meals on my days off(3) and 3 meals on my work days (4, long hours) and I only exercise on my days off due to the long work days.

    8/3/22-171.8 lbs :-( Still climbing from the extra carbs and sodium while I was off. Was in the BR almost ever half hour today peeing at work. Hopefully the scale will start back down.

    8/5/22-166.8 lbs - Off today did 159 minutes on my Elliptical but then it just stopped, couldn't move it. I'm hoping it just needs some oil. 2 of my sons worked on it. Cleaned and oiled it. Ok right now, hope that was it.

    8/7/22-167.2 lbs Off today. Did 180 minutes on the Elliptical. Screeched some after 2 hours and then hard to move then eased up for awhile then got stiff again and I stopped. I'm hoping the bearings aren't bad. Found a listing for a place that fixes exercise equipment. Have to call from work and maybe they can come look at it Friday on my day off. Have a family party Saturday and work picnic Sunday. I have put over 2000+ miles on it since 1/3/22. I'm the only one that uses it. I bought it in 2010 for $600-800. The ones comparable to it now are like $1200-1600.
