    I've been keeping up with logging and exercise, but struggling with overeating/eating too often throughout the day. Ugh!
    That was my plan as well, to lose some weight before my vacation starts. Discouraging so far. I have 2 weeks to step my game up! Mexican food and margaritas sound heavenly!

    So where does someone who already lives in paradise go on vacation?

    Speaking of eating often, I basically eat continuously. Albeit, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, strawberries, bananas. This is what I take to work and eat here and there throughout the work day. I do find that it keeps my energy up. I guess that these are sort of not solid foods, but solid foods make me tired, so berries kind of keep me going.

    This will be my 11th round on this forum out of 13 of them.
    I have gained weight in 4 out of the last 5 100s
    I enjoy being on this journey with y'all. Weight loss requires a lot of work! We are worth it though.
    I aim to have an average of 500 calories in the Green each day, so I track my excess. I get in a good deal of activity and dance workouts. Like, if you had to pick a body type that you wanted to have, you do that sort of activity I think. Dance for me unlocks my creaky joints, lifts my spirits, stretches me out, works all of the muscles and is super fun. I do the 3-4 minute song variety, it keeps me up with what the "kids" are listening to : - )

    1st Week Goal Weight: 137.5
    1st Week Actual Weight: 138.8 Started at 137.7,
    Excess calories burned (in the green): 2548, /4 = 637 average

    Day 4: Sun, 8/21: 138.7 - Had hoped to be a little less today, but I guess being 0.1 down is better than gaining. I will try to be very "good" today : - )
    Day 5: Mon, 8/22: 139.1 - Absolutely no reason for a gain. Trying to take it in stride.
    Day 6: Tues, 8/23: 138.1 - Okay. Maybe into the 137s tomorrow? MFP yesterday said 117 if I ate like that every day. 2 years of MFP saying numbers like that, so I have hope.

    Goal weight this 100: 127.7 - Very unrealistic, especially since I will be in Mexico for a good chunk of September and I am going to eat all of the yummy foods and drink a few Margaritas/Cervezas for sure. The most that I have ever lost in the 100 day challenge was 7 pounds once. In the 7 100s in which I actually lost weight it was more like 2-3 pounds loss over 100 days.

The electricians showed up quickly and worked until 11:45 pm at night to get the problem solved which was a whole new electrical box with an upgraded service. Something I was going to do anyway, so why not tie it all up neatly with a bow at once? Grateful for electricity and grateful for water today. My weight, my trend weight and my fat % is exactly the same as yesterday and I was surprised to see that because it was a model day. However, I realized that I did not take the heart-healthy water pill (because of the birthday party) so I probably have fluid built up. Also, I was stuck in the house all day with electricians and stuck sitting in the dark for several hours last night so exercise of any kind was out the window. Slept well though when they finally left. I was exhausted! I’m ready to lose some weight my friends!

    Day 06-08/23-201.0-(Trend weight 200.2) I forgot to take my meds yesterday in all the reno hupla, so it was too late for the heart-healthy water pill. My feet are pretty bloated and it showed up on the scale. Today I’ll take my pill for sure and that may give me a more accurate picture of my true weight. Tomorrow I travel to the cardiologist so lunch or dinner will be out but I will really weigh my options! One of my handymen was put in the hospital with either appendix or intestine infection issues. They are still doing testing. I’m down to one guy and he is the lazier one. But he’s here today putting his 60 to 90 minutes in so I suppose I am supposed to be grateful. No quality sleep last night, so I’m a bit grumpy as you can see but I do speak truth.

    Haha! I guess I just take this “paradise” for granted, being I was born and raised here. We’re taking an Alaskan cruise. It’s our 2nd vacation this year as we try to make up for being stuck on the island during the pandemic.

    I wish I were a fruit eater… definitely a healthier option eating as often as I do.

    Day 07-08/24-200.6-(Trend weight 200.3) I forgot to pull the water pill from the day before’s cubby (because I forgot to take it the day before) so now I am several days without it. Can’t take it today because I am traveling to cardiologist. My weight is up (probably related) from starting point by 0.4 and that is a disappointment. I’ll take it for sure tomorrow and I will watch my dinner out today! I hate when I can’t get my steps in when that is just about the only exercise I am approved for right now!

    This will be my 11th round on this forum out of 13 of them.
    I have gained weight in 4 out of the last 5 100s
    I enjoy being on this journey with y'all. Weight loss requires a lot of work! We are worth it though.
    I aim to have an average of 500 calories in the Green each day, so I track my excess. I get in a good deal of activity and dance workouts. Like, if you had to pick a body type that you wanted to have, you do that sort of activity I think. Dance for me unlocks my creaky joints, lifts my spirits, stretches me out, works all of the muscles and is super fun. I do the 3-4 minute song variety, it keeps me up with what the "kids" are listening to : - )

    1st Week Goal Weight: 137.5
    1st Week Actual Weight: 138.8 Started at 137.7,
    Excess calories burned (in the green): 2548, /4 = 637 average

    Day 4: Sun, 8/21: 138.7 - Had hoped to be a little less today, but I guess being 0.1 down is better than gaining. I will try to be very "good" today : - )
    Day 5: Mon, 8/22: 139.1 - Absolutely no reason for a gain. Trying to take it in stride.
    Day 6: Tues, 8/23: 138.1 - Okay. Maybe into the 137s tomorrow? MFP yesterday said 117 if I ate like that every day. 2 years of MFP saying numbers like that, so I have hope.

The most that I have ever lost in the 100 day challenge was 7 pounds once. In the 7 100s in which I actually lost weight it was more like 2-3 pounds loss over 100 days.

    I'm intentionally losing weight slowly, it's going to be about 2 years to get to goal weight (64 kg). Weight is in kilograms, did I eat sugary food, followed by how much I've overeaten above 6,000KJ per day since 1st August 2022, followed by my exercise on the treadmill (speed km/hr x minutes). Tracking intake and exercise will stop mid October 2022.

    @deepwoodslady - Really glad that you've addressed the electrical issues in your home!!! And it sounds like you have running water again. The basics are covered ... now to finish the kitchen so you are back to cooking healthy options.

The win is that I didn't order any margaritas or wine AND I replaced the rice & beans with a side salad. Another choice I made is when ordering fast food for lunch is I got the grilled chicken sandwich without the bun ... still had the fries which I shared with the baby & dogs and brought out the watermelon from the fridge to round out the meal.

    Not a great week for me. Focus seems to be out the window. I could not finish my strength training class Tuesday because I became dizzy going from floor to standing. Then my knee is bothering me walking. Gaining back the 20 lbs this year has done this to my active self and I need to get it back off so I can be active again!

    After 2 days of planning a vacation that is not happening. AND then helping my DD with her little 2 month old. I've not really done much for myself. TODAY's focus is less food, no snacking, more water ... and repairing all the wall damaged when we replaced the windows back in the spring so that I can put my curtains back up and get ready for entertaining a crowd at my home over the Labor Day weekend. I bought the paint and spackling Tuesday and ready to get started on this project.

    Geez, you have made amazing progress since coming back from vacay.
    This gives me hope that when I get back from my trip at the tail end of September that I will be able to shed anything that I put on eating all of that good Mexican food and beverages.
    I do have a full kitchen in the bungalow where I will be staying, but I very rarely cook. It will be good to have stuff in the fridge and snacks, but I envision that I will be getting food from the taquerias, fondas, luncherios while away. Why would I even think of trying to cook when there is authentic spicy food everywhere right? Completely can't wait to dive into those Mexicana breakfasts!! Normally I don't really eat breakfast, just berries and stuff all day at work, but to me there are no better breakfasts than the Mexican variety. Perhaps that will become my main meal of the day, flipping my normal eating on its head.

    You have had quite a few vacays this year, any plans for more?
