8/29: 169.8 i'm super excited over this. i'm expecting it to go up again, because sat & sun were heavy carb. days.... but at least it looks like i can self monitor to not gain weight when the tools are not available.
8/30: 173.8 not exactly sure how deceitful that weight is. i have a dentist cleaning today, and am weighing in wearing my heavy bathrobe. i am expecting some weight gain from my heavy carb days also. oh well, i'll get it all figured out another day when i don't have morning appts.
8/31: 174.4 well now, all i can do is shake my head. i went shopping this morning, and gathered up some fruit and veggies. have already made myself a nice little kielbasa/green bean/ mushroom/potato/onion hash and portioned it out into 275 cal. portions. this weigh in is happening in the afternoon, so again.... not sure how deceitful the weight is. i know it's not far off (my short trip away, my friend made me cornbread.... i love cornbread) cornbread came home with me, i'm kinda in a hurry to get rid of it, so of course i'm eating it. can't waste a good cornbread. i did go for a walk this morning, so that's a plus.
9/1: 174.4 OK, now i know.... it's not a deceitful weight. it's my honest weight. it's looking like i most definitely CAN throw away good cornbread! calories were over by 130 yesterday, but that was prior to walking. getting back on track..... i really want to see the 160's!

Hey there! First round here. I’ve spent the last year in the NICU with my daughter and have totally lost sight of my health. I know I need to take care of myself, so today is my start day! I am so excited about the accountability and short term focus this thread provides thank you!!
Female, 5’ 4.5”, age 37, mom of 4, 6 and under, the youngest of which has been in the NICU since birth in August of 2021.

64 yr young F, 5ft 4 Round 198 ( my 130th). Thanks again @QuiltingJaine.
Goal this round again is to lose. We go on holiday in a week's time, so from 12th onwards it is doubtful I will be able to weigh (not lugging the scales on the 'plane!!), but I still intend logging as best I can and keeping up with the posts. No binges, keep within calories & macros.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

Which makes me 0.2 pound up this round, could have been worse, but could have been better. 9.86 miles walked and all but 1 exercise calorie eaten back !!

9/4: 170.4 this is the weight i have to report on today. i wish it was higher (dang scale) so when i report next sunday it would look like a loss. there's a neighborhood cookout today. gonna try to stay away from the carbs. and the mixed drinks... good gosh, when i get together with these people they'll always hand me something and say "one little (insert food/drink here) isn't going to hurt ya." i can overcome "one little", but they don't seem to understand there's 30 of them! that's too many "one little's"!

Dropping in to say hi!
After next weekend I'm going to come back officially. Work has been crazy busy, to say the least. A few weeks ago I got the green light to work overtime, so I haven't been taking the time to post in the morning. My exercise has stayed consistent with my lifting but my cardio has been put on the back burner. My husband and I are going to a music festival in North Carolina this Thursday through Sunday and heading back Monday. Then, starting Tuesday after the festival I'm going to start focusing again on my posting, eating better, and just getting focused again. This summer has been rather unstructured and I'm really looking forward to creating some structure for myself. I hope everyone is able to enjoy the holiday weekend in the US!5 -

9/4 120.5 I got together with my “old” gal pals yesterday. Charcuterie board, “Buffalo” nuts and toffee nuts as well as a couple of adult beverages. I had “made” the nuts and discovered that a lot of the Buffalo seasoning was in the box so was ate some of that after I got home and drank lots of water. 73 years old (5'2")- My weight is all on my waistline. I write so my lifestyle is pretty much a "Couch Potato", Although, I do have an exercise room and use the treadmill when the clothes are not hanging off the handlebar. Basically, I need motivation. I am not a fan of sugary food but do crave salty foods. I do like a glass (or two) of wine for dinner but have added ice to a 5oz glass and noticed I am drinking less. I mainly eat at home as my hubby is a great cook and I have never liked fast food. Thanks for this motivation !!!

Did not count calories yesterday as I had a game and usually nutrition-wise I am usually a little more lenient as I tend to consume a lot in preparation for a high-intensity match with large cal burns. 9/4: 134.9 - Holding steady. Finally finished most of the leftovers from our dinner party on Tuesday. Finally seeing some daylight in the refrigerator and freezer. Got my workout in, but spent most of the day doing sourdough-related prep (2 Tartine Country Loaves, 2 cranberry-walnut loaves, 2 ciabatta loaves, 4 balls of pizza dough). Most of those will go home with my daughter and her boyfriend or into the freezer.

Goal this round again is to lose. We go on holiday in a week's time, so from 12th onwards it is doubtful I will be able to weigh (not lugging the scales on the 'plane!!), but I still intend logging as best I can and keeping up with the posts. No binges, keep within calories & macros.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

9/3 138.2 – hoping this is sodium from last night's grilled gammon, with hindsight not the best choice for the penultimate meal, but saw a tin of pineapple in juice in the cupboard and really fancied gammon & pineapple !! Which makes me 0.2 pound up this round, could have been worse, but could have been better. 9.86 miles walked and all but 1 exercise calorie eaten back !!
