Just reminding myself: I could be wearing clothes that currently don't fit this time next week!

Hey I just found this challenge so I’m going to jump in. I’m on a weight loss/fitness journey and actually had lost 30 pounds 2 years ago that I gained back because I stopped paying attention to what I was putting in my mouth. I’m currently doing Hardcore on the floor 5-6 times a week and also riding my peloton several times a week. The nutrition part is what’s messing me up and I have to get that in check. I am the poster child for you can’t outwork a bad diet.

I not full-on tracking macros, but I am trying to pay more attention to calories and protein intake. I have my starting weight from Nov 1 and I’ll start weighing every day starting tomorrow morning (Nov 7)

    Stats: 51
    Height: 5’8”
    Goal Weight: 155

Starting Weight (from Nov 1): 204.4
    Goal: 196.4 (8 lb Loss)

    Nov 1: 204.4

My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 62 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

11/07-200.6-(Trend Weight 200.0)- Frustrating. I didn’t get in much movement yesterday as I painted for several hours but that was mainly standing in place. I stayed within calorie. Expected but disappointing bloat.

11/08-198.8-(Trend Weight 199.9)- Goodbye bloat but no pill today so I’m going to work like the devil to still make real progress. I’ll be painting today. Maybe even raking and burning leaves depending on how ambitious I feel. Gotta check the weather report! If I could hit 196 point anything in the next week I would be so happy. It’s been quite awhile since I saw a tried and true 196.

I've proven I can lose weight by dropping 12.6 kg (27.7 pounds) in the last few months. But I've dropped the ball recently and sat pretty stationary. This month, I want to get back to losing weight, re-build and improve my exercise habit, including regular breaks from my desk.

    18/10/2022: 129.4 kg (lowest point)

@ashleycarole Thank you for the well wishes!
As much as I want to be in maintenance (erm….60 pounds to go) it seems just as hard as being in the loss phase!

11/09-199.8-(Trend Weight 199.7)- I am so so so grateful the scale stayed in Onederland after 3 factors: 1. travel with sitting and little activity for the day. 2. I will take the hit with grace and work on a good day today and tomorrow. More travel on Friday which I will look at as an opportunity to choose wisely again.

More room to get around the dining area without the saw horses in there! I am glad to see the scale a bit down. I know I could have done a bit better. I caved and made some pasta. Fast, easy, good and a “safe” food for me with my eating disorders. Today I will try to get in more protein.

Tomorrow I will focus on pre-tracking and remembering that I can celebrate with visitors without disrespecting my body and that I do not need to snack or "treat" myself to be productive.

    Hello everybody!
My goal is to weigh in daily and maintain this month, I have some nerve-wracking medical procedures coming up this month and I’ve decided to just maintain for my sanity.

    SW: 250
    UGW: under 150
    11/1 W: 204.6
    11/30 GW: 204

    11/1: 204.6
    11/2: DNW
    11/3: 204.6
    11/4: 204.6
    11/5: 204.6
I guess I could get an award for consistency!
    11/6: 203.8
    11/7: 204.6
Ate my feelings last night. Big scary appointment today but will get some answers (hopefully.)
    11/8: 203.6
I learned yesterday my cancer is 100% curable! 😃 I will need to have surgery and radiation and possibly chemo, which I know won’t be a walk in the park but overall the news I got yesterday was good!
    11/9: 203
    11/10: 204.7 🤦🏻‍♀️
Ugh. Not what I want to be happening. I’m like an eating machine. Eating my emotions.

@midsummer174627 This was so well-said! I'm going to be carrying this thought with me for a long time to come. Something so great to focus on!
