Hello, I hope you all are doing well!
11/1 195.8
11/8 192.6 (3.2 lb loss )
11/15 195.6 what the heck! .2 lb loss from 11/1
I’m definitely in a plateau, going back and forth with 3ish pounds. My body is changing, my VO2 Max as gauged by my Apple Watch is continuing to increase. I would like to break my plateau, but I would rather do better in my beginning running and increasing my fitness so I’m not sure about decreasing my calories. Anyway that’s where I am now…
Goals:
1. I’m doing a beginner running series through IFit on my treadmill which is my main focus right now. I’m still trying to lose weight, but I am hoping to increase my fitness over the next 5 more weeks of the program.
2. I still outweigh my husband by 7pounds. I can’t wait until I’m lighter than him.
3. I’m looking forward to moving into the overweight from obese category. Those are the three things I’m focusing on right now, which all feel like achievable goals.
Just keep going! 💪5 -
Hi I just found this challenge and I am desperate for motivation!! I’m Carla, 57 and live in Minnesota. Going through some health issues and was told I need to lose 10 lbs - it’s coming off very slow but I’m also on a medicine that causes weight gain! Ugh!! Makes it hard. I think I have the food portion pretty good (Mediterranean Diet) but I’ve been so bad with exercising. So a group of like minded people is what I need to help with motivation!! I will share y weight later as I’m on the app and will lose my post if I go back and look for it!! I am looking forward to getting to know you all and hope I can also motivate you in return!!!6

Good morning. RubyRed, I'm so thankful I found this challenge as I need to re-start once again. Haven't been meeting my goals for most of this year but I have stopped a backslide. Am still at the top of the backslide, but am confident I'll be able to whittle off the regained 10#, 1 lb at a time. I'm 75 yrs old and thankfully still fit and strong. My absolute nemesis is bread and crackers, usually with some form of butter/margarine and cheese if it's available. Last nite at 7pm I vowed to avoid to stop snacking on bread but by 9 I was back at it. Today I will do better.
15 off by Jan 31st would be golden, but my first goal will be 5 off, followed by the next 5 off by end of January. More if possible.
My last success was when with Noom, and that site kept track of how many consequetive meals you'd tracked. I hit 100!! So altho no longer with Noom, I'm going to try to track 100 again ( 5 / day; breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, snack).
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Take care All and here's to a successful Wednesday!!

I'm in. I'm late so I have to lose 74.0 grams a day. That's on the high side for me, let's see if it's possible. Today I weighed 87.7 kg. If I achieve the shortened equivalent (75 instead of 92 days) of 15 pounds I'll post the Austin Powers 'Yeah Baby' image to celebrate.4

Even though I went up a little from last week, I had a great week. I went out to lunch twice over the weekend and even though I ate at maintenance, I was still up almost 2lbs due to water retention and the extra food.
The great thing is that (1) for the past week I have tracked all my food and (2) I was able to get back to my regular eating as soon as the weekend was over. As I am working on building new habits and working on consistency, this week has been great, and I expect the rest of the weight to be gone by this weekend.4 -

Hi all! I would love to join this challenge. I have 15 - 20 pounds of weight to lose since having a baby nine months ago. Prior to the pregnancy, I used MFP for years to help me maintain a 50 pound weight loss. I had a major backslide in my eating during the pregnancy: I got used to eating whatever I wanted, and I stopped paying attention to quantity. Now I'm hoping to get back to a healthier lifestyle.

I was off for my beach vacation and arrived back hours ago, so wasn't tracking. Vacations are funny time for me because I usually have harder time finding food I eat, but I also pack food with me, and would be more calorie dense if consumed too quickly.
Let's just say I was so happy seeing broccoli and cauliflower few days ago lol.
However my phone also went missing or 'missing' , so tracking is more challenging currently.6 -

CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 182.8
CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM Oct 31): 197.8
CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.
11/01-199.8-(Trend Weight: 200.2)- Was it the travel weight, the Halloween candy, or the 3 hours of sleep last night? Moving forward, but remembering in the Book of Psalms that it says in part “My life is continually in my hands……”
11/07-198.8-(Trend Weight: 199.9)- I lost one full pound during Halloween week. I count that as a win.
11/14-197.6-(Trend Weight: 199.1)- The scale hasn’t tipped this low since September so I feel like this is an opportunity. Travel tomorrow and Thursday. I’ve got to hang on to my progress!
11/21-198.6-(Trend Weight: 198.7)- One month ago on 10/21 I weighed 201.8 with a trend weight of 200.4. I needed to look back because I was feeling defeated today even though the trend weight went down. I can see that I am making progress even though it is slow. I need to lose more than 2 pounds in a month but at least it is in the right direction! Thanksgiving week. That is a challenge for us all who celebrate this week.

Hello, I'm a little late but would love to join!
I've lost 27.5 kg 60.6lbs since march last year by making small changes and trying to learn to eat intuitively but I've plateaued the last few months so thought I would give calorie counting a go again. I have another 22.5 kg 49.6lbs to go all up
Hoping to lose the 6.8 kg 15lbs by the end of the challenge period but honestly will be happy even with half that just to break this plateau.
My goal is to aim for sticking to my calorie allowance, and get 10k steps per day.
Nov 1 start date: 88.2 kg 194.4lbs
Nov 8 88.2 kg 194.4 lbs
Nov 15 87.5 192.9 lbs
Nov 22 86.6kg 190.9 yay things are really starting to move again!5 -
Nov 1 10-day trend average: 166.7
Nov 21 10-day trend average: 163.6
3.1 lbs in 21 days

So I’m going to shoot for 159.9 by Jan 31!!!
