I am back in for December. My name is Mary and I join for the accountability and the benefit I noticed is I have a better understanding on how my weight fluctuations due to calories and lack of activity.
My goal is to lose the weight I put on since April. I know it won't be done this month but I can go in that direction.

12/01-198.4-(Trend Weight 197.8)- I’m back to last bloat weight but this time it’s also after travel so I will take that as a win. Cardiology appt went well yesterday. My neck arteries sounded good, no need to Doppler. My bad leg Doppler test is not good, but not bad enough yet to see a vascular surgeon so that was wonderful news as I was afraid of surgery. Basically, because I blocked in the heart and needed a stent, they worry about other blockages within the body, but they are keeping an eye on it. They are hoping the cholesterol has went down (with new meds) and will be scheduling a re-check on that within next 90 days. That will help stop blockages if we see improvement. Overall, I’m happy with how it went and I don’t have to go back for 6 months!!! Now, to watch my fats and cholesterol causing foods. It’s going to be hard to juggle a diabetic diet and a heart diet at the same time. I gotta figure this out.

He will be here again today before heading back downstate later today. I will plan my snacks more carefully. This week will be filled with several days of travel which will mess up the pattern of my waterpill. I think at one point it will be 3 days in a row without it. I expect my weight on the scale to be hard to follow this week.

Now I seem to be staying there no matter what (yay) but not really making any lasting further progress again. Looking for my next real drop or whoosh. They need to come faster!

Hello all, I’m Amanda from Michigan. I have some scary medical procedures this month (Dec 2, 5, 6) but otherwise would like to lose or maintain. I lost 49 pounds since March and gained 4 back last month. I worked hard to lose those 49 and I know it’s easy to gain.

Hey everyone, I'm Tanya from Wyoming. I am 5'4" and weigh 267.8. Every few months I start MFP and do outstanding for a few weeks, and then I stop because I have self sabotaged myself. I feel like a failure when I give up. My hopes with putting this on here is that I will be more accountable. So here is to my 1st challenge.
