CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM Oct 31): 197.8
    CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    11/28-196.6-(Trend Weight: 197.9)-

11/30-196.2-(Trend Weight: 197.8)- I am happy to have lost 1.6 lbs this month. Traditionally in the fall and winter I gain 14 – 16 pounds!!!! Not doing THAT this year. It’s a promise I am making to myself!

    Nov Start: 197.8
    Nov Actual: 196.2
Nov Goal: (5 pound loss) 192.8

Cumulative Weight Loss so Far: 1.6 lbs. LOST

12/01-198.4-(Trend Weight: 197.8)- Starting the month on a bloat day and after travel. The cardiology appt went very well. I don’t have to go back for 6 months. The goal now is to do the cardiac rehab for 12 weeks, twice per week. Also, to work on lowering my cholesterol. Of course, losing weight always helps so the journey continues for a healthier lifestyle and a healthier heart.

12/05-197.8-(Trend Weight: 197.7)- It seems like I hover around the same pound or two for months, then finally see a nice little drop. My last substantial drop was when I dipped into Onederland. Now I seem to be staying there no matter what (yay) but not really making any lasting further progress again. Looking for my next real drop or whoosh. They need to come faster!

12/12-198.2-(Trend Weight: 197.9)- It has been a week full of travel due to medical issues. Today will be my first true day of cardiac rehab (travel again.) I will be going 2x per week. Praying roads won’t be icy on my days. Praying also that the extra activity will help me all around.

12/19-197.0-(Trend Weight: 198.1)- I’ve been up all week with bloat and travel weight but I am trying to reign it in so December doesn’t get away from me. Today is more travel with cardiac rehab. I’ll have lunch out but I’ve got to make good choices. I’ll be baking and making cookies and candies soon!

My husband and I have been splitting entrees when we go out to dinner now. We had Mexican last night and the woman brought 2 huge platters. One with steak, shrimp and sausage... a huge amount, and the other with rice, tortillas, beans, guacamole, salsa and sour cream. This is supposedly for one person. We shared it and were both stuffed. Obviously this is saving money and tons of calories.

I weigh in on Fridays so hopefully this dinner won't set me back too much. I am going easy on myself no matter what. I haven't had an alcoholic beverage for 3 weeks which is challenging enough at this time of year so I'm not going to freak out if the scale hasn't moved.

Great idea! Hubby and I do that sometimes when we order takeout from our favorite Italian restaurant. 1 order is typically enough food for 2 or 3 meals.

It's tough to lose weight when you live alone and "no one is watching you", LOL; so I'm IN!
There is something to that, but it is possible. I live alone, no one is watching me, and I lost a little over 60 kg. I am still milligramming to my ideal weight, whatever that is. Once you find a forever diet that is compatible with your lifestyle, it will be smooth sailing.

Lost 17 pounds in the last round, but the scale hasn't budged for 4 weeks now. I'm eating at a deficit and I'm still sore from lifting last week, so it's gotta move soon, right?
If you are not losing weight for 4 weeks, you are almost certainly not eating at a deficit. Don't forget that the less you weigh, the less energy you need to stay alive, so you need to adjust your energy intake accordingly.
