How long has it been since you've eaten them?? I went for a year without carbs and when I started adding them back in I got such body aches & pains.... good luck to you.1 -
Today I weighed in at 149.4. Made my goal of losing 15 lbs by my birthday...so original mini goal met. However in the meantime I learned that I have shrunk 1.5 inches in height...therefore I need to lose a little more to reach my healthy BMI of under 25. That's okay. I have confidence that I'll make it, just not by my 70th birthday. So I'm making that my next mini goal. I need to be under 143.5 reach that healthy BMI. I hope to be there by Thanksgiving.
Today I weighed in at 143.0. I have finally reached a healthy BMI of 24.9. Missed the Thanksgiving goal by a week but that's okay.
My new mini-goal is to reach 140 lbs. This is significant to me because it means I will have lost 100 lbs, down from 240 on Aug 1, 2021. Hope to be there by January 1, 2023.
I reached my 100 lb weight loss goal! Today's weigh-in was 139.2. Glad it happened before Christmas because, honestly I think I'll be up a bit next week. Lol.6 -
Hitting the 100 lb weight loss goal was a big one for me. I'm now going to break down my goals into 5 lb increments. I think I have between 10-15 lbs to go but just not sure where I'll finally end up. A 22 BMI seems like a good goal to reach for. That would be 126 lbs. I have not been at that weight since my mid-twentys, like 45 years ago so we'll see.
I'm currently at 139.2 lbs. My next mini-goal is 135. Going to aim for that by Feb 3rd, which is 6 weeks from today.8 -
Mini goal—dry January and much less sugar January!6

My mini goal for January is to drink more water. I've really fallen behind on this. I also want to drop the 6 lbs I gained over Christmas.8

I have to keep my mindset clear and focused. I will continue to be my own health advocate and get the answers/solutions that I need. Giving up is NOT the solution. I need to mind myself...a solution(s) is out there. I just haven't found it yet!4
