I figured that I'd gained weight due to more sodium that actual calorie intake and was hoping that I'd lose it by months end. Had no idea that I'd drop it in the first week! But I'll take the win. Here's hoping that by months' end I drop at least a couple more. I'm not resetting my Jan. goal weight just in case I hold.

Oh WOW!!!!
I think I saw what, 40 or 50 updates this morning. That's great. Even better, so many of us are already making good progress on our goals. This is awesome. Just fabulous. Give yourself some credit! Even if you had s little trip-up, that's OK. It's almost good to get that out of the way early so it doesn't bother you when it happen again later. Just keep sticking to it!
And that's the key. Just keep working towards your goals. Crush them and set new ones!
Don't forget to go slow. Take it a little at a time. Don't make yourself miserable, or you run the risk of just saying it's not worth it. I have a secret: IT'S WORTH IT! There. It's not a secret anymore.
Remember; when life gives you lemons, slice them really thin and layer them with salt in a jar and let them sit a while to make preserved lemons. So full of flavor, and so much better than lemonade.
WE CAN DO THIS! Just don't quit. Please! It's so amazing to see so much success. It really sincerely does make me smile.

@AllyNorth - you are exactly where I was one year ago. On Jan 1, 2022 I weighed 149.5 and had an ultimate goal weight of 135. I reached that goal weight in April of 2022 and have been maintaining since. Keep it going!5 -

Hubby and I are working to clean up our diet. We overhauled our pantry and cleaned out anything that didnβt serve a healthy purpose, and planned out our meals for the week.
