1/12 221.0 (+0.4/+0.4) Not exactly the right direction but I'll get back on track. Yesterday was nail day, so I got home late and then just found "something" to eat. Lunch wasn't the best either as I found myself googling "what's better McDonald's or Jimmy Johns". Opted for Jimmy's Johns. It's really poor planning on my part. I have two dinners to attend within this round, and then I should be good with celebrations until 2/7/2023.

“What parts?! I live in Texas Hill Country (: I love it here. And you had some great weather, it seems.”
It was a whirlwind trip to surprise my son for New Year’s. We went to Kerrville, Fredericksburg and Johnson City, Wimberly, and the Longhorn Caverns. Plus did the Capitol in Austin, and some nice eatery’s here and there! Got in a winery or two, several hikes, some back roads, and a few card games! Where do you live? Was I close? @CamandJarvis3 -

I’m a 64 year old retired Sp. Ed. Teacher who started these challenges last fall. I love that they are short and manageable. My goal for the year is to drop 10 pounds, be more active and explore a new outdoor location at least once a month. Started this year with a week of exploring the Texas hill country.

GW for this round: 169--With consistency, I have been fluctuating between 172 and 167 for a few years now. I want my high weight to be below 170 for at least 3 consecutive days by the end of the challenge.
Goal 1: Cut down on the boozy days: Stay dry for 7 out of 10 days.
Goal 2: Increase water intake: Hit 70 oz per day for 8 out of 10 days.
Goal 3: Log my food 9 out of 10 days.
Goal 4: 20 minutes of movement separate from day to day activities. 8 out of 10 days.

1/12. 73.8. Really struggled yesterday with dinner. I have had a long week at work, and then had to take my son to hockey practice yesterday. When I got home I was starving and my daughter wanted Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is a weakness of mine. I ended up having the worst dinner I have had in the last 10 days and I woke up feeling bloated and yuck for the first time in 10 days. I hate this feeling and will try to hold on to the memory as just another reason to not eat like that anymore.
1/13. 73.5kg Very long day at the office again last night, so didn't get a work out in. Ate ok, though had a bit of a binge on carbs for dinner. The binge was due to emotional eating I think, being stressed from work causes me to not have such great will power. I have to work on that. But today is a new day, and it is Friday!!

1/13 DNW - started with all good intentions of a better choices day which went to put in the evening, we were booked into the steak night, massive juicy delicious steak, half would have been plenty for me, was served with chips which I regretfully ate the lot & then cheesecake which to be honest was quite tasteless, so why did I eat it!! Felt bloated all night 😱😪. Walked 11.7 miles.

Hello all! I’m Amanda from Michigan. I set goals in 2023 to eat more fruit and veggies and fiber and to increase meditation. I’m doing well on everything but the meditation. I did very well on these 10 day challenges over the summer and fall but am facing a major health crisis this year and am just struggling to stay on track.

1/13- 187.2 Hoping I round the corner on this cold today. My calories were good. I weigh myself a few times a day or just when every I change my clothes as my scale is in my closet. I’ve noticed lately my morning fasting weight is the highest number. It’s a strange flip for me as that has always been the lowest number. Now to start seeing a lower number in general…4 -

Round 211 start MAINTENANCE 115-120 LBS Lessons for maintenance: 1) exercise at least 30 minutes five {5} days a week 2) try to walk no less than 10,000 steps a day 3) If/when weight creeps up (119-120 LBS) increase the incline on the treadmill and add a burst of running to routine 4) eat a low-calorie salad before eating dinner 5) limit fried & breaded foods 6) continue to add ice cubes to my 5 oz glass of wine 7) eat fish for dinner at least 2 times a week 8) eight to nine hours of sleep a day 9) Of the 60oz of water daily-drink 8oz of water a half hour before each meal 10) three (3) meals a day and 1-2 small snacks, nothing after dinner 11) Do not let my weight drop below 115.0.

01/13-116.7-doctor says I have a strain of the cold that is going around and is pretty bad this year. She says the cough could last a month or two-clearly not what I wanted to hear as I am not getting enough sleep. Was weak yesterday and got in NO exercise, but I also ate very little-- below 1,000 calories.
A nebulizer is the only relief I get however I am down to my last vial of Albuterol and went to the Pharmacy and was told they are out of Albuterol due to all the upper respiratory illness. Clearly not the winter to be sick and unprepared.
