@deepwoodslady Donna, here are her stats and reply regarding side effects —

    SW 204 (12/22)
    CW 143 (1/1/23)
    GW 130
    1/9/23 140.2
1/23/23 136.4 (I worked 78h M-Su with one day off & no time to eat at work)
2/12/23 133.2 Exhaustion is real so I missed last week. My labs are AMAZING! Tapering back on Mounjaro. It's saved my health and life. I'm cutting back on my bp meds gradually. Haven't been this weight in 18 years!!

RE: Her Side effects she replied. “At first I would have a few days where I felt like my sugar dropped for awhile. After that, occasional nausea. It slows gastric emptying, so I wouldn't eat as much and I really only poop 1-2X per week, which is what I normally did, except after eating a lot more food.”

Downside is the cost. Full price $1227/month Insurance costs vary.

She said you might have to have tried and failed with another shot before they will cover it.

It's my first time with this challenge, but I like the shorter duration; it seems mentally easier to keep track of. I gained 8 pounds over the holiday season (ended up about 103.5 lbs), but I'm trying to take daily walks and do a quick workout every day. I've been able to keep my self-control much better over the past week, so I'm happy with that start.

    2/11 - 101
    2/12 - 100.5
    2/13 100.5
    2/14 100.5
2/15 101.5 Yesterday I killed my progress since the 11th with a bigger dinner and some sweets, as well as drinking less water, but I imagine it'll come off in the next couple days. Not great though; I held off all day and finally gave in for dinner. Oops.
