Hi, everyone! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married with four kids and a new full-time job since January. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, and being consistent, but I have a good heart and am always grateful for every moment I have, even the frustrated ones. Lol!
My goals for March:
☘️C25K program 3x week - Walk 3xweek
☘️Strength Training 3x week
☘️ZUMBA Saturdays
☘️Pre-plan meals and log food everyday
☘️Take thyroid med everyday
☘️Increase Water Intake

Thank you all for the well wishes for my mom - she is doing well and her heart seems to be back to a regular rhythm.
@shannbug216 - I so understand that feeling. I have it all the time. I do not have an answer per say, but I keep coming here and checking in even though I am not seeing results and have not figured out how to make all of this work yet. The balance and imbalance of life is sometimes too much for me to handle. Seeing how frail my mom looked in the hospital, and after being in the hospital many times myself, it reaffirmed that I want to feel healthy and strong. I will keep tweaking things here and there and it will come. It will come again for you too!4 -

6–210.3 🌷

8–209.6 🌷 not much sleep last night with a teething puppy, but Nova and I took a Power Nap this morning…and after seeing this beautiful number on the scale, who could be cranky? Not me!
9–210.1
10–210.8
11–210.8…my son and daughter have been home spending time with Nova on their spring break. It has been so nice hanging out with them. I’ve been taking a break from logging and the scale is starting a slow creep, so it’s time to get back to basics.

Hi all. I am 42 year old female from VT. I am a full time RN working in the ED. Leaving my current job in April, starting my ARPN life in primary care. I want to improve my health and fitness level, this setting an example for my patients that if I can do this then they can do this.
Goals for March: revised 3/20
*I have revised my goals based on a mind set change from stressing about total body weight and changing to fitness, logging and muscle weight.
⚖️ over all goal increased body muscle weight
🍎 Food: unprocessed
✍️ Logging daily
Fitness goal:
🏋🏻♂️ strength 3x per week
🏃♀️ cardio 4-5x per week
💦 Water: 80oz daily
March starting weight: 168.0
☘️March☘️
1 168.0
2 168.5
3 169.8 worked yesterday, got 12,000 + steps in, little shy on my water goal, ran before work, really happy that I am prioritizing my workouts.
4 169.4 great run and arm work out yesterday. Indulged in a glass of wine and espresso martini, while building legos with my husband 😂 Dinner out tonight, already looked at the menu to plan.
5 18th wedding anniversary😍 (no weigh in)
6 171.0 had an amazing anniversary weekend. Back to logging today, snow showing with a friend planned for this afternoon.
7 170.2
8 172.2
9-18
19 172.3 bet you are wondering what happened the past 11 days. Well, me too. I was doing great and then one thing lead to another and then we had a snow storm and no power for 3 days which meant I ate out a lot and blah blah blah. Yesterday, I went for a walk outside, it was beautiful out, logged my foods, drank my water. I find that I am either all in to my journey or I have a f—— it attitude.
20 First Day of Spring 🌷
🍎💦✍️ (goals met yesterday)
172.3 total weight, 94.5 muscle weight. I am going to start looking at my muscle weight and total body weight. I understand that I should not expect muscle weight to change drastically each day but it gives me a different number to look at beside body weight which can change drastically day to day by several pounds. I am learning to be gentle with myself and that the scale is not the enemy but I have seen were that number sets the tone for my day.
Happy first day of Spring! Hoping for some snow melting today.

03/19-188.2-(Trend Weight 190.4)- Nice to see some positive movement on the scale. Of course, I would like to see a pound come off every day but that is not realistic. I’m also very pleased with my progress on my trend weight. I travel tomorrow to the land of restaurants and donut shops again for my rehab, Dear Lord, keep me strong! Next Saturday is a big birthday Bash for my DGS. There will be enough temptation there! A couple of days ago I lowered my carbs by 10 more. It has been a bit gradual. It’s starting to pinch a little!
03/20-188.6-(Trend Weight 190.4)- I had to cancel the appointments today out-of-town for cardiac rehab and the weird dietician. My blood pressure was running too low all day and night yesterday and the readings were continually abnormal. There was no way I could go to rehab and push myself. The average reading was 81/41 all day. I licked salt off my hand all day and pushed the water. Most of my day was on the couch with my feet elevated over my heart. I took it easy in a pajama day and had no exercise and very little movement, thus the uptick. Today will be another “take it easy day” as the lack of blood pressure can starve my organs of blood and oxygen. I don’t want anything to shut down or be taxed in any way. Hopefully it will improve today so I don’t have to make that trip to the hospital. We don’t have a hospital in my area or county.

@deepwoodslady That sounds scary. Is you blood pressure often that low?
I have my bi-weekly Ladies Bible Study tonight at church. Often I either don’t know what the dinner is in advance or the dinner is something really high calorie or rich. This time we’re having a homemade salad bar, grilled chicken, and homemade dressings. The salad dressing is going to be the only real problem this time so I’m just taking some from home. I’m so happy that the plan is for a lighter meal option for once. Those ladies running it can cook so well and it makes keeping to tiny portions and calorie counting so hard.4 -
@deepwoodslady - I am sorry to hear about your BP and am sending concern for you.
@nannerkay - I understand that battle also. Hang in there!2 -
Hi, everyone! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married with four kids and a new full-time job since January. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. Lol!

03/21-188.6-(Trend Weight 190.3)- I am feeling better today and have managed to raise my bp up to about 100/60 which is better. I have not taken one of my bp meds in two days so that may be helping. I have stuck to my diet plan but am only burning between 1800-1900 calories laying around and taking it easy so no movement on the scale. I did hop on the exercise bike late last night for 20 minutes and felt okay afterward. I’ll probably do that again today. I need to burn some calories, but also to stay conditioned for my rehab Thursday so the workout there doesn’t kill me! I’ve been sticking to my diet plan real well but boy oh boy, did I ever wake up hungry today! It’s going to be challenging!

Bible study dinner changed but it still worked out well. They did a sandwich bar instead of a salad bar. I just got a few lettuce leaves, tomato slices, turkey slices and made myself some lettuce wraps. Then I got a bunch of the fruit. Since I didn’t have any bread I allowed myself a small piece of chocolate pound cake (which came with strawberries and whipped cream). Definitely worth skipping the bread for that. Since I brought a light salad dressing from home I was able to dip my wraps in that too.
@deepwoodslady So glad you were feeling better yesterday.
