Hi, everyone! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married with four kids and a new full-time job since January. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, and being consistent, but I have a good heart and am always grateful for every moment I have, even the frustrated ones. Lol!

@shannbug216 - I so understand that feeling. I have it all the time. I do not have an answer per say, but I keep coming here and checking in even though I am not seeing results and have not figured out how to make all of this work yet. The balance and imbalance of life is sometimes too much for me to handle. Seeing how frail my mom looked in the hospital, and after being in the hospital many times myself, it reaffirmed that I want to feel healthy and strong. I will keep tweaking things here and there and it will come. It will come again for you too!4 -

19 172.3 bet you are wondering what happened the past 11 days. Well, me too. I was doing great and then one thing lead to another and then we had a snow storm and no power for 3 days which meant I ate out a lot and blah blah blah. Yesterday, I went for a walk outside, it was beautiful out, logged my foods, drank my water. I find that I am either all in to my journey or I have a fโโ it attitude.

172.3 total weight, 94.5 muscle weight. I am going to start looking at my muscle weight and total body weight. I understand that I should not expect muscle weight to change drastically each day but it gives me a different number to look at beside body weight which can change drastically day to day by several pounds. I am learning to be gentle with myself and that the scale is not the enemy but I have seen were that number sets the tone for my day.

Next Saturday is a big birthday Bash for my DGS. There will be enough temptation there! A couple of days ago I lowered my carbs by 10 more. It has been a bit gradual. Itโs starting to pinch a little!

My blood pressure was running too low all day and night yesterday and the readings were continually abnormal. There was no way I could go to rehab and push myself. The average reading was 81/41 all day. I licked salt off my hand all day and pushed the water. Most of my day was on the couch with my feet elevated over my heart. I took it easy in a pajama day and had no exercise and very little movement, thus the uptick. Today will be another โtake it easy dayโ as the lack of blood pressure can starve my organs of blood and oxygen. I donโt want anything to shut down or be taxed in any way. Hopefully it will improve today so I donโt have to make that trip to the hospital. We donโt have a hospital in my area or county.

Oh my! Do you have any idea why your bp is so low? Has this happened before? Praying you raise your bp back to normal. Please take it easy and don't hesitate to go in if you need. Be safe.

I have my bi-weekly Ladies Bible Study tonight at church. Often I either donโt know what the dinner is in advance or the dinner is something really high calorie or rich. This time weโre having a homemade salad bar, grilled chicken, and homemade dressings. The salad dressing is going to be the only real problem this time so Iโm just taking some from home. Iโm so happy that the plan is for a lighter meal option for once. Those ladies running it can cook so well and it makes keeping to tiny portions and calorie counting so hard.4 -
