    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.


    CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.6

    04/11-192.8-(Trend Weight: 191.8)- Well, clearly the scale will prove that it was a food-filled Holiday. Also, there was some travel involved which is never good for me. But the Holiday is over and my taxes have been picked up from a far-away city and I am home and ready to tackle my weight problem again. No excuses! I hope all of you who celebrate enjoyed a wonderful Easter.


    04/18-187.8-(Trend Weight: 190.9)- Finally able to (kinda) confidently slash the 190’s off my colorful chart above. Feeling victorious for that even though I still have a LONG way to go. Celebrating myself over my accomplishments this past week and feel okay to say “Yay Me! The closer I get to the 170’s, the further the 190’s will be in the dust!

    What a great idea for a challenge. I look forward to getting to know the MFP members in this challenge. I have been a member of MFP since November 17, 2016 but did not start to use it regularly until July 1, 2020. I had to look at my profile to refresh my memory. Wednesday's are my regular weigh-in. So I will start April 5th.

    I've been slowing a bit down, as I felt really tired. So despite eating at almost maintenance calories, I still lost a little bit, which is really good. I'll be on holiday the coming time, so I won't check in next week. No logging, but extremely active, I don't expect any gains except maybe some water weight from the flights.

    Hi, I am in for another cycle. I did these pretty consistently until the fall one and wasn't real consistent then, so starting over. Thanks for starting this again.
    STARTING WEIGHT/DATE WITH MFP: about 175 on 8/19/12 (been here a long time, lol, but kinda off & on)
    Lost about 25 pounds, then pretty much maintaining, up a little, down a little, but would like to lose another 15 or so.

    Challenge starting weight: 149.7
    I weigh every day & average them on Monday, so my numbers are the weekly average.
    My goal for this cycle will be 144#

    April 10: 71.1 kg / 156.7 lbs - recovery week with relatively low activity, food on track though
    April 17: 69.85 kg / 153.99 lbs - despite ToM  :|  I know it's too fast, consistently below cal target while hitting macros. I'm eating as much as I can and 0 junk food, I promise! Happy to be below 70 kg though  o:)
    April 24: 68.28 kg / 150.53 lbs - Still eating below cal target, as of next week I will adapt macro-ratios to slightly higher carb/lower protein and see if I can increase the volume/calories a bit. Maybe that will slow the process down a little.

    Well, I didn't lose, but I didn't gain either, so that's something! My clothes are fitting better, so I think I have been body recomping, as I have been weight training for a few months. I have upped my steps and included a morning walk into my routine, but have also been eating more calories, so it's giving me a good idea of what is going to take to stay at maintenance. I really want to lose 10 more pounds, but I'm finding it hard to stay disciplined in the evenings.
