Michele- Once your milk/yogurt has been heated then cooled; you can add 1/4-1/3 cup of fresh whey (like from your last batch of yogurt), stir it in then begin the fermentation process.1

Digital hoarding could be linked to anxiety, say some researchers, and technology may be to blame
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-02-01/is-digital-hoarding-causing-anxiety-online-internet-social-media/101905948
Over the past 16 months or so, I've moved from job to job to job to job. Each time I've moved, I've "brought home" a pile of emails and other "digital" things. Plus I get a lot of emails at home.
It has become overwhelming.
So the past few days, I have started deleting and deleting. I am keeping some, but I'm trying to get the numbers down.

Good morning ladies!
I feel better despite a crazy night. The house fire alarm went off several times, but no fire. My dad says it was the humidifier on the furnace.
I went to bed early and did not sit through my parents supper. I set out my mom's pills and told her they were out, but she didn't take them. Oh well I can only do so much.

So sad to hear about Gordon Lightfoot passing.. I so enjoyed his music4 -
Allie—I liked Gordon Lightfoot’s music, too. He will be remembered by many of us. 💖.

Well, at the prompting of my doctor friends I went to the walk in clinic. He examined me and sent me to A&E. Looooooong waits, but eventually I got an x-ray and a nice nurse put a plaster cast on it. Fibreglass one next week. It's touch and go whether it will be off for the cruise, but they may give it me a velcro one.
It's a distal radius fracture.
Caught the bus home. Expecting Bea in half an hour, but DH will be here. It's takeaway pizza for dinner! My brain is mush.
V tired.

Heather so sorry that you have gone through such a rough patch! I hope you heal quickly. Max has quite the imagination!
I’ll be getting ready for another morning bike ride. It’s been getting hot here during the day and evening. We try to go close to 20 miles a day. The heat has been keeping us in during midday. So, that is when we swing the kettle bell. After it cools off, we take a half hour walk during the sunset. I’m glad that my husband is my workout buddy. I am still making and drinking bone broth. The results are apparent on my face now. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that wants to improve their look of their skin, inflammation, and hair growth!! I would say that since I’ve been doing it, my hair has grown 4 inches. Which is extremely fast. Approximately 2 inches each of the last two months. my normal hair growth is one to one and a half inches per month. It does normally grow fast but not this fast! My friends noticed it last Saturday. I had cut off at least 3 inches before we went to Florida and another couple while we were in Florida. Now my hair is way down to my butt again! As far as hair, it’s supposed to even possibly fill in where people are balding. I would agree. I started to get a little bit of that along my forehead. I don’t see it there much anymore. I’m trying to talk my husband into doing it with me because he had lost at least half of his hair due to Covid.
Have a great day, everyone!

I have no idea how the military works but if your son transferred to somewhere else, is he really lost?
As far as Rebecca and Lee are concerned, yes. I knew it was serious when Lee became concerned. He's been all, "he's fine; don't bother him; relax." Or something like that. But I think he finally realizes there really is a problem.
I would say my husband and his eldest son are practically estranged, but were definitely estranged when my stepson was in his 20s and into his 30s. He was active duty air force, and even though they were estranged, he still made sure his father knew where he was deployed. Whenever he moved, he let everyone know. I think Rebecca's son's behavior is not typical.
Hugs to you, Rebecca. I'm just horrified for you.

Heather, I'm so sorry for your tumble. Your fracture looks painful.
Thinking of you, Kim, Katla, and KJ.
Hoping you can climb out of your funk, Rita. You've got a lot of stress in your life.
Everyone take care.

1. Do something kind for someone you really care about. Veg prep for Joe.
2. Focus on what you can do instead of what you can’t. Update Dear Joe binder, be thankful able to do PT.
Joe’s off to echo cardiogram, required by the colonoscopy MD who actually put a stethoscope on Joe and heard a heart murmur. Neither of us have had an MD use a stethoscope or his hands on us since before we left Boise.
Weird weight stuff. The last four days of my recent discomfort, weight stayed absolutely the same. The day of the first relief, it went UP two tenths of a pound. The next morning it was DOWN 2.4 lbs. Back up 2.4 this morning. A reminder to focus on other healthful indicators and not stress about the scale.
Welcome @sarahbriston Sarah from Scotland! Con VERY gratulations for quitting smoking. It is the number one most important think you can do for your health. Know how hard it is, but it does get easier. I’ve been smoke free since 1999 and after a few months no longer thought or dreamt about it, thank goodness The gum was my saving grace and I was on it for six months.
Welcome @dianem130 Diane from NYC con VERY gratulations for quitting smoking too! (see above to Sarah from Scotland). Well done!
Welcome @Kimmy6364 ! Always happy to hear about another hummingbird feed-er.
Thanks pip. Does your AppleWatch indicate blood pressure or oxygen?
Heather, Yikes! No wonder you were shaken. Thankful to be reminded that there are good, caring people like Gary and Patricia in the world today. Love max’s “Get beutter” soon sense of humor. Took me a moment  “…grateful I am not dead…” amen, sister, amen! Oh dear, broken wrist. Glad you had it seen to, despite the long wait and possible cruise impact.
Lisa “… a reasonably swift resolution would be spiffy if it's available.” Understatement of the year(s)!
Katla ((hugs)) Hope you’ll see some hummers when the Illinois weather warms up. Also hope you and yours were far from that dust storm.
Lanette, dang! I could have added chia seeds to this morning’s oats. Next time Fingers X’d for Miss Kitty.
Terri glad to hear you’re healing so fast!
Beth I wish my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Alas, it's the biggest part of me.
Rita “don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good” Your stats look pretty danged good to me! Glad you backed off the arm weights after hurting your shoulder. Safety first.
Pip HR 190 didn’t feel like it?!? Can not imagine.
Allie what an angel Miles is when sleeping. Sad to hear about Gordon Lightfoot too. What a gift he was.
Vicki if the gal was willing, could she work enough hours in your facility to pay for her medical insurance and un-subsidized housing? Not here where rents are out of sight  Sorry to hear about the side effects you’re suffering. Are the shots a long term thing?
Ginny (and Annie) “…I hate colds” Ditto.
Rebecca ((hugs)) words fail. (((hugsheldextralong)))
Kay well done for dancing. Would love to her your “Justice vs Just Us” spin.
Debbie Wow. 5.5 miles AND Zumba. You are an energizer bunny!

Rebecca--I am so sorry about the news of your son changing commands. I guess I thought the service strongly encouraged servicemen to write and keep in touch with family. Pray you get a response soon.
Tracey--I would hire you for sure. We had the leaf guard gutters put on almost 2 years ago. Cost for our whole house was $6000, they replaced all the gutters. It is so nice I do not have to worry about DH climbing on the roof and leaning over to clean them. Worth the peace of mind. Glad they had a good retrieval, pray the next steps go without any problems.
Mary--I tried the bone broth. Cooked in slow cooker on high for almost 48 hours. I could not make myself drink it. Even added carrots and celery. Didn't help. I admire you for taking it.
Barbara -- the shots are a replacement for my metforim and to help with vasculr health as having such bad feet and toe cramps. Nothing else was working. They are doing great on my blood sugar and I hope over time the side effects will lessen and go away. Know stress doesn't help. Also weight was up again this week. This eating is out of control and I know it a coping thing.
The girl could work full time and get insurance from here. Rents are terrible here and she may have a problem with paying that. But she is young enough that she should be able to figure it out.
Blessings, Vicki GRAND ISLAND, NE
