Heather: Ouch! Such a shock when that happens. Yay! For your rescuers. I hope you’re not seriously injured.
I tried a little light weeding this morning, and drove the short distance to the garden centre and it was fine. I may be mobile quicker than I expected.6 -
Heather ... that was a scary fall! Hope your aches and pains are nothing serious.
Debbie ... Praying they find the right team for Destiny.
Barbie ... thank you for the new month.
Rebecca ... I have only ever trimmed my bangs ... never would I attempt a whole haircut!
Karen ... "Hazel" the Roomba!
April was another disappointing month, although I was one pound lighter than when I started. That one pound was up and down all month long so I'm not real convinced that I did anything but stay the same. However, the new month brings new opportunities to get better at what I know works. So, I will continue with IF 19:5 and make certain that the food I consume in those 5 hours is healthy and nutritious. I also think it will benefit me to weigh and measure again to ensure my portions make sense and my calories during those 5 hours aren't too high. My eyes have a way of being bigger than my stomach!

Sorry! Didn't mean to be obscure. The VA just approved a surgery consult to further explore issues that showed up on the CT scan. Don't know if surgery will be necessary or warranted until I talk to a surgeon. I did send the results to my gastroenterologist's office, and they want another CT scan that concentrates on the "small bowel," to get more information. Not sure what they'll do with the information when they get it, but a CT scan isn't too bad as far as tests go, so not sweating that one.

Lisa - you weren't obscure - I now remember you said it's just a consult. Thanks for jogging my memory. I'm sure they'll tell you the "how" when and if it gets down to surgery. Good luck!

Hello Everyone! I'm Diane from NYC. I'd like to join WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR MAY 2023 group. I'm need to this so I'm not sure how I go about officially joining. I turned 60 this January. I have been much heavy than I am currently & lost 40 lbs. a few yrs. back. I have quit smoking (3/17/23) and gained over 10 lbs since quitting. Considering I could use to lose another 40lbs, I knew I need t get myself back on track. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................... That's why I'm here.8

Hello to Diane from NYC! This is a great place to come and chat!
Debbie ~ Continued prayers for Destiny. My heart goes out to her. How much she has ahd to endure.
Heather ~ Sorry for your tumble. Please take care of yourself.
We went to our favorite Mexican Restauant and had Texas Fahitas and frozen margaritas. So, I am done for the day...LOL But, it was delicious.
Will start back on my indoor walking Tuesday.

Thanks for thinking of me! I am still here. We just got a little busy. I also came down with a sinus infection. So I was laying low for the last week.
Barbie thanks for bringing us into a new month!
We are also going to be going to see the grandkids this coming weekend. Our last trip out there before we head back to Minnesota in two weeks. Hopefully I won’t find a snowman on my deck when I get there!!

Edie and my son dropped in with these.
I reenactment the whole thing for Edie. I can tell you it hurts!!!!
I had a nap this afternoon and the dinner was superb.
Having Bea tomorrow afternoon for a couple of hours as Edie has cello. Don't know what they are doing for the rest of strike day. I find if we don't have Bea we don't know what day it is!
Gave them Max's card DH made
We are having lunch with him next Monday to celebrate his birthday, which is on Coronation day. Saturday he has a beach party with his friends and Sunday DH has cricket. Monday is another Bank Holiday for the Coronation.
Love Heather UK xxxxxx7 -
Thank you Lisa! I'm on my third nap and fourth cup of tea. I'm a believer in rest and hot liquids for colds. We have leftover pot roast for my parents dinner, so that's easy. I think I'm nodding off again!

Welcome newbies and returnees! (((hugs))) to those who need them.
Thanks for getting us started anew, Barbie!
I'm so sorry about Destiny, Debbie. I'm glad she's getting the preliminary help she needs. Hope she can get into St Jude's. Sending love and prayers.
Holy crap is right, Kelly! I follow the calendar based on my designers and when they started giving me kits for May a month ago I thought, "WAIT, WHAT?!?" and then, "Okay... it's a month away." and the BAMM! It's here! I'm really quite excited because I decided that I am NOT going to work at all this summer however, that means I'm going to have to get those lousy ducks lined up now for next fall. Not truly an issue because, if I'm not 100% ready then things will just be later than "usual" in September and the case managers will not mind. They're busy enough at that time anyway.
Thanks for the new list, Rita!
1. Do something kind for someone you really care about... it's mail-a-card Monday, DONE!

Barbie--Thanks for keeping us going with a new month. I pray with the warmer weather I get out and move more.
Terri--Glad to hear you are recovering well.
Tracey--I am so sorry about things at work. I am still short and this morning one of my girls comes in and tells be she has to cut back to 15 hours per week or she loses her insurance and housing. I just do not understand as she is young and able. Sometimes they make it way to easy to get on programs.
Lanetta--Those are very lucky chickens. Glad that you and Roger can help each other and get things done. Sounds like both of you reap the benefits.
Heather--Sorry to hear about your fall. Sure hope you feel better soon.
Rita--HUGS!!
Well not a lot else going on here. Working and trying to get into doing more. One of the side effects of the shot I am on is hurting, shortness of breath, fatiuge. I have it all.
Blessings, Vicki GRAND ISLAND, NE6 -
