            Monday brunch: blueberry chaffles (one large egg, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, 1 t almond flour, 1 t cinnamon, 1 t ground flaxseed, 1/3 cup blueberries)

            Beef hor fun.

Left purse at home monday so I went home to get it and ate lunch out. Steak burrito bowl, so good!3 - 
            

A bigger dinner than usual but it hit the spot.4 -

            Szechuan takeaway. Was too busy to cook.

            Pad thai with chicken to use up the perishable beansprouts bought for beef hor fun on Monday.

It’s a little hot for this but miso soup!4 - 
            🍽️ chicken tikki masala leftovers over vegetable pilaf - riced cauliflower, garlic, onions, red kale, peas, carrots and wakame.

            Met up with an ex colleague for pho and some starters of shrimp paste on sugar cane and soft shelled crab.

Spicy chicken and veggies cooked on a Blackstone griddle, served with yellow rice and salsa

            Trout with arugula, pickled onions, pistachios and sliced strawberries

            Friday dinner (leftovers will probably be dinner again tonight): Chicken with ginger and garlic... added broccoli and served over roasted garlic riced cauliflower.

            Sous vide lamb shank on a bed of sweet potato mash with salad of celery, apple, capers, grapes, toasted nuts and vinaigrette. Gravy made from liquid in the sous vide bag. I did a big sous vide session a weekend or two ago. A bunch of lamb shanks and and a kilo of beef curry in portioned ziplock bags in a bucket. We ate some of the beef rendang on day 1 and tossed everything else in the freezer.

            Sunday brunch: scrambled egg wrap (cheese, bacon and avocado slices on an almond flour tortilla)

Salmon, green beans, carrots, rice. And some chips and dip bc I couldnt resist.3 - 
            We arrived in Canada to see my mom. Checked into our favourite aparthotel and ate at our favourite nearby Italian. We only had secondi. I had rare lamb culets with mushrooms. Hubby had chicken with lemon sauce.

Migraine meal of pepperoni hot pocket and yogurt. Ate a handful of sunflower seeds before this to even eat at all.5 - 
            Just eggs and a lil veggie side for breakfast.

11 - 
            

Post-migraine funk but ate something despite the lingering nausea.7 - 
            Was told by my PT to increase my protein intake.

2 Large Eggs + 100g Egg white.
15g Unsalted Butter.
Pan bread (low hydration Bread dough, dry fried in a hot skillet, split and bifurcated).5 - 
            Dinner:
Grilled chicken breast with Herbs de Provençe on a bed of sautéed broccoli/carrot slaw. 🥦 🥕

Seared center cut pork chop, sauteed red chard and roasted baby potatoes after a long day spent outside. Not pictured: glass of pinot noir8 - 
            Breakfast for 2

            Mom has moved into a retirement home. The food is actually not bad. This was lunch of seafood chowder, spinach+strawberry+feta+walnut salad with a scoop of egg salad and a roll, apple brown Betty.



5 - 
            We are home after a week at my mom's. Have been craving some non Asian food, so made fish tacos.
