May 15: 65.17 kg / 143.7 lbs - given up on eating back my workout calories, it's not happening. I'm okay with being under as long as my energy levels and mood are good
May 22: 64.44 kg / 142.1 lbs - steady food logging and eating pattern, increased exercise. Within 5 kg (11 lbs) of my goal weight now

April 10: 202.4 Each week is tough right now but at least the weight is going in the right direction. One month yesterday that DH passed away. Wasnβt quite the Easter I was wanting this year but my family an I made the best of it that we could.
April 17: 201 Iβm very happy with this loss. There is still so much adjusting going on. I'm hoping to get more accomplished this week, meanwhile Mother Nature has done some hail damage to my house and need to get that taken care of.

05/16-193.6-(Trend Weight: 194.3)- The progress should have been much better but it was a foodie week. My Birthday, Motherβs Day and some general out-of-town travel, and a trip to the Emergency Room didnβt help my cause. Hopefully this week will be better although Iβm already on day 2 of travel.
05/23-197.0-(Trend Weight: 195.5)- Iβve really put some thought into this and decided it is a cross between laziness and depression. I just donβt feel like meal planning or cooking. I have a grab βn go mentality right now. When my depression sets in I really have a hard time following through with anything. No focus. Feet dragging the ground. A bit listless. I donβt have the energy to exercise, or plan, or research or do any of those things I normally do. Iβve really got to pull this together.

So after the TOM came the whoosh. The whoosh would have been bigger if i had eaten as i should all along. But still it is a great progress. I have to reasons to slip up in June. But I will try to isolate it to those two days. And not fall into the trap of thinking. Well i will overeat tomorrow so today doesn't really matter. And I have leftovers from yesterday I should eat them. I tend to do that.
This week I have been good. Either taken a hike or a turn on the elliptical everyday.
For me weight loss is excersize driven. If i don't excersize I can eat very little if I want to lose weight. If i excersize i want less food.
I see some argue that diet it kg's excersize is gram but in my experience diet is kg excersize is cm.

I have been a member of MFP since November 17, 2016 but did not start to use it regularly until July 1, 2020. I had to look at my profile to refresh my memory. Wednesday's are my regular weigh-in. May 24: 193 lbs This is what happens when you indulge in excess. It is not a surprise to me to gain 5 lbs overnight. My attitude has been terrible snd the results show.
