    April 10: 202.4 Each week is tough right now but at least the weight is going in the right direction. One month yesterday that DH passed away. Wasn’t quite the Easter I was wanting this year but my family an I made the best of it that we could.
    April 17: 201 I’m very happy with this loss. There is still so much adjusting going on. I'm hoping to get more accomplished this week, meanwhile Mother Nature has done some hail damage to my house and need to get that taken care of.
    April 24: 201.2 Well Pooh! I was down all week until this morning.

    May 1: 199.8 I’ll count this as a great week for me. A lot of personal stuff and grieving going on here.
    May 8: 200.8 It’s been an emotional week with some travel too. Sometimes it’s not about losing any weight for the week but just trying to keep my head above the water. It seems that there are many weeks like this. I need to always remember to do one little step at a time.

    @Antiopelle I am so sorry for the loss of your dear pet. It sounds like he led a Wonderful free-spirited life. And a very long life at that! May he enjoy that Rainbow Bridge until he crosses it someday to meet back up with you. May the little fella RIP. I'm sure he knows he was so very loved.

    I thought that once I was done studying everything would get so much easier diet wise. But at the moment I am in abit of a meeh mindset. I am weighing daily and logging food. But I am eating wrong. Also I seem to have entered puberty. We are talking zits everytime I look in the mirror.

    What a great idea for a challenge. I look forward to getting to know the MFP members in this challenge. I have been a member of MFP since November 17, 2016 but did not start to use it regularly until July 1, 2020. I had to look at my profile to refresh my memory. Wednesday's are my regular weigh-in. So I will start April 5th.

    STARTING WEIGHT AND DATE WITH MFP (MY FITNESS PAL): 200 lbs
    YOUR CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT FOR THIS CHALLENGE: 184.5 lbs
    YOUR CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 10 lbs

    April 5: 184.5 lbs
    April 12: 185 lbs

    Well in the end up by half a pound. Not an accomplishment but not defeated

    April Goal: 180.5 lbs

    May 10: 186 lbs I will take it. Now I have to add doing my blood pressure 3 times every Wednesday morning for 3 months.
    May 17: 187 lbs Oh the frustration of gaining & losing the same pounds. But this is a process. Check for doing my blood pressure readings.
    May 24: 193 lbs This is what happens when you indulge in excess. It is not a surprise to me to gain 5 lbs overnight. My attitude has been terrible snd the results show.
    May 31: 187.5 lbs The effort involving activity helped. Blood pressure readings ✔️ ✔️ ✅️

    June 14: 187 lbs. So small movement. I have been unmotivated this week. The weather is damp and cool. Just feel like hiding underneath the covers. Couldn't do my blood pressure today. Out too early.

    Well, I didn't lose, but I didn't gain either, so that's something! My clothes are fitting better, so I think I have been body recomping, as I have been weight training for a few months. I have upped my steps and included a morning walk into my routine, but have also been eating more calories, so it's giving me a good idea of what it's going to take to stay at maintenance. I really want to lose 10 more pounds, but I'm finding it hard to stay disciplined in the evenings.

    I'm lucky that my last April weigh in was so much higher than my first May weigh in, or else I would only be showing 0.6lb loss this month! My weight has been pretty stable for the whole of May, partly due to muscle gain from lots of strength training, but mainly because my diet has been less than perfect. Too many treats and too many adult drinks, the problem is when the sun comes out there's too much fun to be had! I have a holiday at the end of June so will miss the last weigh in of this challenge, so the 19th is my focus and I'm going to give it a big push to finish strong.

    June 19: 142.6 Almost made my goal this month, I'll have to wait and see where I am on the 1st July, chances are I'll be back up a bit after being away.

    June 12: 71,4 I'm down, but it is mainly due to grief after the passing of my dearest tomcat. He was 16 and got clipped by a car...I couldn't eat much for a few days as I had literary a lump in my throat. :disappointed:

    Hi! I would love to join the continuing challenge for summer (July, August and September). My all-time highest weight was 217 lbs. on 2/29/2008. Today's weight is 156.8 as of Monday, June 19, 2023. I will post my June 26th weight here and will then move over to the summer board which I have bookmarked so I can find it easily on July 3rd.

The good news is that my trend weight (while moving a little throughout the week here & there) is still the same as last week even though my weight has went up.
