I'm tired of saying tomrrow and then 3 months later I'm still sitting on my butt. Or I do good for 3 days and never again. I'm frustrated and I'm done. I'm looking for a really good accountability buddy and motivational partner. I am 30yrs old and female so am looking for someone I can relate with

Hi edible,
I'm looking for something similar - I even looked at trying to find a paid service just so I could have someone to really hold me to account but haven't been able to find anything.
I'm a 35year old female in South Yorkshire, UK. I have a 15 month old daughter and a husband who can eat me under the table and stay the same size as my leg.
I begrudgingly restarted yesterday for the billionth time and and just taking it 1 day at a time at the moment.
I signed up for the July challenge thing - I'm just trying everything to make it stick. I have 2 holidays planned and I'm struggling to look forward to them. I go to Switzerland later in the year with my little one as a lap child, and I'm dreading her not fitting on my lap. I also have Florida booked next year and I am terrified I'm not going to keep up with my daughter and miss the memories I've been dreaming of since before she was even born because my weight held me back.
If you want to add me, please feel free!0 -
I can understand firsthand the weight gain especially in your 30s or postpartum. I’m a mom to a 15 month old and boy! Do I really struggle to find time to work out in my day, especially since I also work as a naturopathic doc in California helping those wanting to fix gut issues and hormones.
The key I’ve realized is truly building a mindset so you don’t sabotage yourself. That takes time, with consistent effort, discipline, and motivation.
Before going to sleep, I replay in my minds eye what the next day will be like as far as routine is concerned. I do the same when I wake up in the morning, before starting the day. It’s like you’ve set yourself for success in your thoughts before executing in action. The other key is, don’t criticize or berate yourself if things didn’t go as planned, just keep looking forward and visualize what it would feel like, look like, be like to be 50+, 100+ lbs leaner.
Hope this helps. I’m also a work in progress as we all are…0
