07/01-197.8-(Trend Weight: 197.4)- Today I am celebrating my son’s 27th birthday and my oldest grandson’s 17th birthday who were born on the same day. There will be food that is out-of-plan so the key will be portion control. A new month always feels so hopeful. I’m starting with a small drop on the scale which feels even better. I did the Spring Challenge and failed miserably. I have some work to do to get back on track. The last couple of years I was involved in several challenges. I decided to focus on one. So this is the challenge I have decided to work on. Wednesday is my regular weigh-in so July 5th will be my start.

I used the calculator that @Walela617 shared. So it calculated lowering my calories by 500 and my slightly active lifestyle, I could lose 13 lbs by October 5th. So I am going for it. My June 28th weight was 193lbs

Hi, I’m Lynn from B.C. Canada. Have a terrible track record of never completing these challenges but committing to this one. I'm 76, my Life Goal is to remain fit and active well into my 80's. I love nature walks, kayaking and biking but recent arthritic and other muscle issues have been a challenge. Allowed “life” and other obstacles ( habitual procrastinator ) to interfere with a great event I’d registered for but had to withdraw from. Recognizing that I can’t ‘push through’ like I used to be able to do even 8 years ago has been hard.
My highest wt was 183; two years ago I managed to get down to 156, but then a slow backslide began. April of this year I saw 173.6 ☹ . Currently yo-yoing in the mid 160’s; Wt Loss Goal for this challenge is to lose 10 lbs and return to 156.

Starting the month with a slight gain. I could not be bothered to make the post earlier this week. Because I have slept somewhat disrupted. The puppy is really cute. Bit also very happy at 4 am. Really looking forward to having it morph into a grown up dog that I can go hiking with.
The app for my weight says I lost 5.8 kg last quarter it takes the averages of the weeks when you look at year and quarter. I have decided that that is excellent. I will continue to walk and mind my food. Whilst still allowing for the occasional sosial engagement with food and drinks.

Hi, I’d like to join this challenge please. I’ve had MFP since 2015. I used it to successfully reach my weight loss and fitness goals during the pandemic but since returning to work I’ve gained back 15 of the 20 pounds I had lost plus my fitness is poor.3
