Having a treat only twice a week.4

On my last visit to the ER the nurse said, "we need to learn to make better choices". I am not sure why that statement resonated with me, but it has helped me learn more about how certain foods affect my health. I've learned you don't have to exercise like Arnold Schwarzenegger to have meaningful exercise with solid results. My mini goal is to continue to learn to make better choices.16

My mini goal is not so mini. I just want to be able to get out of the house. My wife died from Covid in 2020 and I put on 112 pounds in 2021 while trying to cope. I was already 300 pounds before I started but I moved around pretty well for my size. Now it is a different story bouncing between 420 and 440 I cannot get up and down the steps on my porch. Now it has been over a year since I last left my house. So my mini goal is to lose enough to get out of the house.
I'm so sorry for your loss. That's so sad. Life is incredibly hard sometimes. Hope you find some support here.4 -
To get 4 cardio sessions and 3 weight sessions in this week.3

My mini goal is to be sub 200!!!!!6

My Mini Goal is to lose 2.2 pounds in the next 13 days to be under 190 for my hip replacement surgery. (I have 30 pounds to lose after that to reach my ultimate goal.)7

Onederland! I just hit my last baby-goal (which was hitting my lowest weight since I started my mfp account five years ago) which also happened to be 25% of the way to my ultimate goal weight. Onderland is up next and only 10lbs away!10

My mini goal is to feel comfortable in my clothes. I'm not far off that. I'm following The New Rules of Lifting for Women. I started ten years ago and then quit a few months in as I was pregnant. It's not the newest out there, it's a six month programme, but its no nonsense, straight forward stuff.3

When I lose 10 lbs I'm buying myself Lisa Frank Crocs!6

2. Be able to wear my wedding ring again9 -
Great thread!
40 lbs lost is my mini goal7 -
Mini-goal is to run/walk a 5K. I'm walking every day but haven't made the leap to "wogging" yet and I don't know why. Maybe today!8

I started MFP with a weight of 260lbs. My mini goal is to be at 220 by the end of August. Long term goal would be to lose 2lbs a week and be below 200 by the end of the year.8

My sister is coming to visit in two weeks and I've been calling this my sister challenge. I'm just trying to lose a bit before she gets here, but it's all about eating less and moving more, and sticking to the program until it is truly my way of life. I've got all my exercise and meals scheduled in my phone. I had one three day setback so far, but mostly it's going well.9

My mini goal at the moment is to reduce my hypertension. I was diagnosed this week.9

Hi, I don't want to offer unsolicited advice but I was at the doctor's office last weekend and my blood pressure has gone down significantly after I made some changes. Happy to share details if you're interested.3 -
So far I have lost 17cm (approximately 6.7 inches) from my waist. I have 5cm (approximately 2 inches) to lose before my waist measurement is in the low risk category. After 25 kg (55 pounds) of weight loss I finally seem to be losing more cm from my waist so hopefully it won't be long before I reach my goal.11

The mini goal that is most exciting & motivating for me right now is having someone notice that I've lost weight. I haven't told anyone "IRL" what I'm doing, and would like to see how long it takes before someone makes a comment. 16 lbs down and nobody's said anything yet. It's actually been fun having this "secret"18

Getting back to the size I was at 40, by the time I turn 50 😁😁11

I have two pairs of bike shorts, one in a 24 and one in a 26. The 26s have been just barely loose, and the 24s are a little too tight. This week marks 15 lbs lost, and the bigger ones are getting looser, so I guess my current goal is to fit properly into the smaller ones.17

At this point early in the game, it's dropping a size.10

Losing weight after divorce because I wanted to make my ex-wife happier by gaining weight.14

19 pounds from 199. I'll be down 162 pounds total, and only 50-60 away from my goal weight. Feels insane. I haven't been in the 100s since I was 12, which makes me really sad for little me. But incredibly happy for current me. :P19

Staying with my eating plan, and working in exercise as my joints and weightbearing time will permit.10

Break into the 150s8

It took a full 20 pounds before I had comments, and then it was like 3 in one day. I'm down 30 now with another 10-15 to go.7 -
Less than 2 months into MFP and I wasn't sure the scale fluctuations I've seen were really weight loss until today. I've been somewhere around 265 to 270 lbs for a few years now. The scale this morning was finally below 260 at 259.8 and I'm starting to believe.
I like the afore mentioned goal of waiting to see if someone notices, but I've already told a few people that I'm doing this. I suppose my mini goal would be to hit sub 255 because that, to me, would signal a real trend and not something temporary. Eventually, holding somewhere around 210 ~ 220 is the final target but I'm a big guy and that's pretty slim for me.11 -
In feb of 2016 I had a heart attack in July of 2016 (4.5 months later) I stood on the top step of the podium for an intermediate (1mi/22mi/6.2mi) triathlon. Surgery and the pandemic sidelined me in 2020 and I haven't run since. I want to swim/bike/run again. And I want that podium.11
