I would like to get below 111kg and go for a long walk around our local park6

By most charts, I'm about 8 lbs. away from 'Overweight' BMI and out of 'Obese' for the first time in my adult life. I should hit it sometime in October!11

My bmi is around 35. It would be cool to go down a point!10

just scheduled a dr appt for Sept 11, so let's go with as much as possible. Let's me much more realistic, 228. I was 231.8 so feasible-ish.
oooh even better that would like 15lbs down total.

For me it's losing that 1 cm of body fat and gaining that 1 cm of muscle mass6

I have a doctor's appointment at the end of September. I haven't seen this doctor since March of last year. At that point I had a BMI of 48.31 and my blood pressure was 145/92, both of which are horrendous to even think about
I also had various abnormal blood work, but I won't bore you guys with the details.
For this upcoming visit, I want to see at least one or two of these previously abnormal values within their normal range. (I'm betting on blood pressure!) Also my BMI is currently at 43.3 and while I don't expect to get below 40 by then, I'd like to get as close as possible(In case you didn't know: 39.9/40 is the border between just obese and horrifically obese, although the medical term is a little more polite.)
I'm still waiting for someone to notice that I've lost weight. (I had posted on here before about that being my goal. 27 lbs down now and nobody has commented, which is getting funnier by the day.) I'm also still waiting for my blue jeans to fit me well enough that I can wear them out in public. 15 lbs down from the day I first put them on and managed to zip them up -- but they still look ridiculous on me. Maybe I'll wear them to the doctor's office12 -
I have a follow up visit with my cardiologist Sept 5th. I would like to be under 230 by then. I'm currently 232. It will have been 6 months at that point since I was in. I was 252 at that visit.10

Improved blood tests and resting heart rate9

I really want to see my numbers on the scale go down into a new ‘decade’. I just need to lose 4 more lbs. for that to happen.11
-

Starting weight Aug 01 2023 181lbs
Current weight 167lbs
I'm 5'7" tall and my goal weight is 150lbs + or- 5lbs.
17lbs to go with a goal of 1 -2 lbs per week.
I have quit drinking all forms of alcohol. Best decision I have ever made.
Counting my calories and keeping them max 1500 per day.
Joined a gym and am lifting 3x per week.
Walking the dog 5k 4x per week.
The first 14lbs fell off rather quickly. It has slowed a bit but I know that is normal for me and doesn't concern me one bit and it will be slow and steady now.
cheers!

My mini goal is losing the first 10 lbs, I’ve lost 3 lbs so far!9

I went for a walk to do some errands in my neighbourhood today. It was very hot out, though fortunately not humid, and I really struggled with the few uphill blocks and had to stop and rest (I use a rollator walker with a seat, so was able to sit down). I was a little surprised by the difficulty because the scale has been moving downward and I’m.feeling a bit lighter. But the experience made me think how much easier that walk will get with another ten pounds off - or hopefully even five. Instead of feeling discouraged, I unexpectedly felt motivated. It’s because the weighing and portion control and exercise are actually producing tangible results.12

To eliminate the word can't and use a better word for my situation.12

Started on June 6. My first goal was to lose 20 lbs by Labor Day… met and exceeded that goal! Yippee!
Next goal is a total of 30 lost by my birthday near the end of October.
Thank you to everyone who posts here - these boards are so very helpful to me!10
