So glad yesterday is over. My colonoscopy was a bit of an ordeal this time, but at least the results were ok . I'm feeling groggy today - I am sure the sedative they gave me was much stronger than normal.

    Cindy - big hugs.

Robin - I hope your dentist is kind to you!

Michelle - it's so unusual for you to have a little splurge that I'm sure there will be no harm done.

Barbie - I too would be interested in any more books you advise. I read the thin commandments some time ago and re-read it recently when you mentioned it.

I'm due to meet up with a couple of friends this evening. One of them I haven't seen since I weighed 140 pounds more than I weigh now. It's unfortunate that my tummy is bloated from my procedure, but I will put on my spanx and look the best I can. She's a bit of a negative Nora and I just know that she is more likely to mention my raddled face than my improved figure. She's a lovely girl but definitely missed out on the empathy gene!

Must get moving - much to do!

    Love to you all

OMG!!! I just logged my food for the day. I don't believe how much over I was!!!!
I know what you mean. I have been consistently 100-200 over my calories burned every day since I put the BodyMedia FIT back on and started tracking my food again!

    Ouch, rjadams!

Does the pain make you not want to eat or make you want to munch like crazy?

:explode: Table thumping foot stamping agreement to all who have something to be steamed about (especially Cathy, MacMadame, Michelle).

 Warm comforting hugs and tissues to all who are grieving or in pain (especially Amanda, Cindy, Reb, Jane, Robin and Cathy again).

 Thanks to you Barbie, for the gratitude reminders and the honesty. It helps me tremendously to know that even you who have gone so far ahead on this path stumbles sometimes. Will try to follow your fresh resolve lead, even though I doubt I could keep up with your frisky poodles:laugh:

:flowerforyou: Greetings to Jeannie, DoobieDoo, Joyce, Kackie, Kathie, Lisa, Mary msh, Mary SMVQ, Pam, Sally and everyone else! Chiclet it was good to hear from you awhile back. Post again soon and bring us up to date. Jackie, Viv, where are you?

Today is another retirement practice day. Did ok on last weekend's plan, Saturday, walked a lot, prepped the white pumpkin, baked 10 doz cookies, ate fruits, veggies, kept the beer down to a pint, watched anime with Joe. Sunday baked another 5 doz cookies for Church coffee hour, excavated 3/4ths of the Laundry Mountain, again kept beer down to a pint while watching a little more anime with Joe but alas did not log so ASSume I went over. Monday and Tuesday recovered well, almost back to ticker weight.
Today's plan: Finish clearing off all the paperwork from the computer desk (DONE! ), post the TFFB signers, address envelopes and draft Thankyous to transporters and cone supplier, pickup Dixie's RX, shop Winco for more baking supplies, pickup buddy at 6:15 for Line Dance Class, hit my protein goal while staying under calorie max and NO HOOCH! Now its time to get up off my duff and JUST DO IT!

    Hugs,

    Good Evening, dear Ladies,

Drove DIL and granddaughter to the airport today...so sad to have them leave but also ready to get out of Vacation Mode and back to "Healthy Eating/Exercise Mode"! Our DIL is 6 months pregnant so I tried to let her sleep in and nap when she was able and take care of our sweet Lyla. (I was so happy that they were able to stay a few extra days after everyone else left!) I loved every minute but it also meant that I didn't get my usual amount of exercise. Walking with a 2 year old is a very different kind of exercise! We picked up a bucket full of "treasures" on the beach this morning and we did chase several flocks of birds, but it wasn't a big calorie burner!

Robin: OUCH and bummer! Hope you feel better tomorrow! Pain killers make me nauseous too.

    Cindy: Thinking of you

Auntie BK: So good to hear from you! I love the way you write!

Barbie: Yum...Indian food. At least you made good portion choices. Sometimes that flavor is worth the sodium!

MacMadame: Good to have you back here!

Joyce: You'll get rid of your extra in no time. At least you got right back here before it was more!

Amanda: I hope your friend was complimentary about your great loss! You have done amazingly well!

    SallyCC: Happy, happy birthday:-)

I am yawning and need to finish cleaning up a bit before bed. Take care, All:heart::heart: Kackie

    Hi Ladies!

Have you ever been on one of those water slides at a water park? or any slide? that describes my fitness plan as of late. I completely missed all of my November goals. I'd like to say I'll do better starting with December...but it is the holiday....but I will try.
I love reading the posts from everyone who's managing to stand tough during the eating seasons! I notice when I keep up w/posts that I tend to do much better...inspiration, motivation....I need inspiration and motivation!!!:flowerforyou:

Cathy...I admire the way you're handling your holiday situation. Is your DIL the kind of person that you can sit and explain your feelings to? Maybe she doesn't realize how this is affecting your whole family.

Cindy...I am sorry for what you're going through. I know how difficult these times can be. Enjoy every second with your mom.

Amanda...glad all went well. Why can't they figure out a more comfortable way of doing those tests???

chat w/everyone later...have a great nite and thursday!
