    Good morning!
I wish yesterday had been a more productive work day, but it wasn't. There is always today. My oldest granddaughter misunderstood something I sent her. I asked my DYD to please explain it to her. Sometimes I feel like I have to walk on eggshells around them. After massage I went to two groceries, put things away, got my last 1k steps in. My fitbit doesn't count when I push a cart. In bed later than wanted. But I believe I have everything for lasagna and cookies this weekend and everything for Thanksgiving dinner.

There are quite a few Christmas lights up around us already. They are pretty. I will be enlisting help of oldest daughter and her DH to put ours up this weekend. They won't go on until Thanksgiving night.

Saw a falling star this morning. It has been a long time since I have seen one.

Debbie In spite of lack of sleep, you almost always sound calmer after time with your mom.

Keep up the great work Ladies!

    Good morning ladies!

Debbie so sorry to hear about Jack. I know you will miss him.

I will buy groceries today, and visit Mom. I need to figure out the stove locks before she comes home Saturday.

    Have a great day!

Ladies, here is another survey question - what is your favorite sweater like? Zip or button or pullover, hoodie or v neck, cotton or wool or synthetic? Solid or pattern?

I'm thinking of choosing one for my birthday, and there are just too many choices!

DH was stewing pears yesterday, and forgot to put the timer on. I smelt burning, like toffee. The saucepan was completely charred. Soaking it in various substances didn't work, so, this morning I looked it up on YouTube.
It came down to a choice of boiling it in baking soda or in bleach. I thought the fumes from even diluted bleach would be noxious, so I boiled it for around 15 minutes in bicarb. It worked like magic! :p Good feeling!

Storm easing off a bit, but still wet. Hoping to be a bit dryer by the time we set off.

Barbie- fabulous sweater..my mom knit me alot of sweaters
I feel that what I pay for them now is part of there inheritance
And if I die tomorrow there is enough to pay things off including the mortgage, my cremation is paid for and I keep up with my bills.

God, I offer myself to Thee
    To build with me
and to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self,
that I may better do Thy will.
    Take away my difficulties,
that victory over them may bear witness
to those I would help of Thy Power,
Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.
May I do Thy will always!

I found a good present for my brother and his wife. It is a game about trekking to all the National State Parks. This is their bucket list dream to visit as many National Parks that they can.

Hi, Can you share the name of the game?
We also are on a quest to visit all the parks

Debbie if the roommate were gone would you move in with your Mom so she wouldn’t be alone? Sorry for the loss of Jack.
11/13: Move: 1 sets PT w/nuthin’, lihe dance class. Steps:8078
    Fuel: sugar in vs mfp=-3 CI<CO net=206 vits=1
Live: Joe, readings, BP, fasting bloodwork, Advent devotional, Post Office, Bi-Mart, USBank, call TRowePrice about RMD letter, find notary. Wt:132.5

    Later, lighter, lovelies!
Barbara, the Southern Oregon Coastie AHMOD x8zcp1ya37k1.gif
November: Move more: chair yoga, line dance, dailyish PT, play with dogs.
Fuel better: less sugar, CI<CO, dailyish vitamins.
Live NOW: dailyish time with Joe, readings, start meditating. Open heart and mind before mouth.
    2023: Be of good cheer.

I am sure eventually I will move in there full time but to start with it would be just part time.
With the room mate gone, more people would go visit her too. No one feels comfortable staying very long to visit mom with the room mate there. When I am there, she either leaves the house for most of the day or she stays in her room with the door closed. She does that most of the time when I am not there too but she is a little company to my mom.

Now that I have lowered my expectations of how the weekends will go, it has been a lot better.
This weekend was not a productive one in the way I expected but I am totally ok with it. There are still a few months before the blackberries have to be pruned and tied.
Having the one on one time with mom, even though we didn't have a lot of time when she was awake, it was really good time and it was nice to hear that she really appreciates everything I do for her.

for me, the most important thing is they HAVE to be SOFT!! My favorite ones are my Sherpa
All of my clothes have to be super soft and comfy. If a sweater isn't super soft, I wear a soft cotton shirt under it
