My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

03/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)-
03/04-177.8-(Trend Weight: 179.0)- I’m doing okay for the most part. I just have to watch those night time snacks. I will say it is hard to get my fitness in with the crew that is here all day for the renovation. I’m trying to fit what I can in during the late evening but by then I’m so tired. But there is no excuse to do absolutely nothing so I am making sure I do something. I’ve also fit in a little extra strength training with arm weights.
03/11-179.6-(Trend Weight: 179.2)- Wow! Am I EVER glad that last week is over! It was a rough one in so many ways. I’m starting off this week with a day of travel to the Dentist about nearly 200 miles round trip. Not exactly a good way to start a new week, but hopefully I’ll be able to make some progress as the week goes on. As for this past week, all I can say is Phooey and Good Riddance!

Feb 14th: 182.1 (weight was 181.4 yesterday). I expected a little increase, as some ladies and I had a Gallentines party last night with all sorts of goodies and champagne 🍾
Feb 21st: 180.6 yayyy! Still loving OMAD. I think this number could have been better because I didn't put all the work in I should have. I only walked 2 times this week. Also, my sleep has been awful. If I can do better about those things then I know the loss will be better. Still satisfied though.
Feb 28th: 177.2 had a couple of very low calorie days the past week due to sickness but all is better now! Didn't get as many walks in as I planned, but I'm happy to see a good loss! (7.3 lbs lost total in February)
March 6th: 176.6 I could have done better this past week. Looking back at the week, there were a lot of social outings. Had a bunch of junk that I didn’t need. (Pizza, fries, candy, burger etc). I know these things are ok sometimes but when it's several days in a row, it doesn't do me any good. Didn't stick with Omad the whole week either, or my calorie/carb goals. The plan for this next week is to stay on track with my goals and omad.
March 13th: 176.1 I did have a better week this past week, so I was hoping for more of a loss. The only thing I can figure is that it could be that I'm not sleeping well. Only got decent sleep maybe half of the days. At least it's not a gain. Just a little discouraged.

After going several weeks with gaining and losing the same 3 pounds, I finally figured out the culprit; nuts. I switched to almond milk for my coffee, and was eating natural peanut butter as a snack with celery and apples. Now that I've removed them from my diet again, I'm back on the losing tract, and lost 2 pounds this week. 🥳
While I know it can be a pain to track your food every day, it can help you so much with your weight loss journey. I was staying within my calorie range and still started gaining weight, even though I had been doing great losing before that. Tracking has been an invaluable tool in helping me see what foods don't agree with my body.

Hi! I'm Paige. I'm 46 and been struggling with my weight for a large chunk of my life, about 40 years now. It's gone up and down and up and down due to unhealthy behaviors. So, trying to do this right this time. I have psychiatric meds that I take that lower my metabolism, but I am working with a dietician that specializes in the behavioral field to help me manage that and my healthy habits.
