    Over 7lbs gone & good riddance! not going to stress too much over this week though i would like to cross the 8lb mark. in the midst of a lot of studying so its taken a lot of energy to make sure i'm eating well/enough. i'm ready for October now!

  • what helps me not crave a lot of candy of sweets is i eat good and have one or 2 bad days .. so you wont get tired of eating health all the time :D

    Checking in before WEIGH IN DAY:

    Despite being rediculously busy (like I know sooo many of us are!!) I am taking it a day at a time and trying to have the scale move in the right direction. I had a complete binge on saturday and went over my calories sun and monday. BUT.... the last 2 days I have managed to get in a run AND stay under my calories. Its always a stuggle for me a to stay on track long term. Thats why I started this month with a HUGE gain and have been yo-yoing all month. Hoping for a loss tommorrow, close to the 5 lbs. We shall see!

    That being said... see you all next month! I am in again!

    Total Lost: 5.6 for the month!

    I can't believe I did it! The month before I had only lost about a pound and a half and my motivation wasn't at its peak, hence the joining the challenge to begin with, but I made it and even passed my goal for the month by about half a pound. I'm very happy about that- tomorrow is my two year anniversary and we'll be eating out and I'm not going to calorie count (though I will log it!) Other good news- I am now OFFICIALLY within ten pounds of my goal weight thanks to this challenge keeping me on track.

    I wish I could join everyone again for the October challenge but I'm so close to my goal now I don't think it's possible to lose that last bit so quick, I'll be taking it a bit slower through the next few months. Thank you all for your hard work and motivation and hopefully I'll be seeing you around the boards!

    I can't help but be a little disappointed :ohwell: I lost over 10lbs in both July and August and I was hoping for the same again! Oh well, I'm only 4 or 5 pounds away from a healthy BMI now, so I suppose it's to be expected that the loss will slow down.

    Well done everyone with your losses!

    My final check on was 130.7, so I lost 4.4 altogether. See you all in October!

    I only weighed in twice this month - I've had very very good days and very very bad days - so a bad result on the scales can tip me into more bad days...

    1/9/11 = 179.4
    10/9/11 = 177.8
    30/9/11 = 174.6

    Total of 4.8 lbs this month. I'm more than happy with that :-) A third of the way to goal now....

    Don't look on it from the weekly viewpoint - but from the monthly viewpoint. And you pretty much lost the 5lbs (0.2 lbs does not count as a fail) - so I'd say that's a great result - well done :)

    Be proud of that!! Its so hard to lose month after month! Your scale is moving at a nice pace and CONSISTENTLY!

    Totallllll Disappointment. First because I didnt miss the goal, but ALSO because I am stillllllll heavier than I was. That gain was not a fluke. I have accepted that this is my real weight and I still need to lose consistently. Eat right on a daily basis and work out consistently.

    Here's to a better month in October! Congrats to the Happy Losers this month!!! To those disappointed (like myself, stick with it and set a new goal for October!)

    Not my actual weight from this morning, but my sodium was ridiculous yesterday so I know it's not right. Plus I walked/jogged for 90 min yesterday.. achy achy achy.

    Lost 7.6 lbs!! My goal was 8 so I fell a little short, but I was seriously slacking on exercise the last 2 weeks of the challenge. Can't wait for october's challenge.

    I made the 8 lbs goal!!! I started this month's challege at 159 and now at 150.2. Woo hoooooooooooooooooo!!! I was hoping to crest into the 140's ...but I will be there soon :)

    Sep 15: 175.6, loss of 0.8 lbs
    Sep 22: 173.0, loss of 2.6 lbs!
    Sep 30: 174.0, gain of 1 lb :(

    Total loss of 3.8 lbs. I'm not happy with how I did this month. It's such a modest goal that I hate missing it.

    Scale is still at 149. Only 4 days left. My primary objective is not to post a gain, so I have to at least get back to 148 for a maintenance month, and I'd love to get lower just to be able to say there was a loss, however small.

    Final weigh-in today which is my end weight for September and start weight for October: 148 - a maintenance month for me.

    Sorry I missed yesterday's update. My numbers ended up:
    Sept 2: 215.2
    Sept 9: 215.2
    Sept 16: 212.8
    Sept 23: --didn't officially weigh in, but I gained a couple of pounds--
    Sept 30--210.2

    I made a 5 net pound loss exactly (I had to pee twice to get that number, the first time it was 210.4 :laugh: ). September has been my worse and most inconsistent month ever. I started running intervals last week, though, so I am hoping that October will not follow in the same way, though the cooler weather makes me want to get in the kitchen and bake. I fully intend to bake, but it will all be Cooking Light stuff. I will continue on the October challenge and hope I do better. I usually lose 7 lbs per month, which I actually did in September, it's just that I lost, gained, lost. Bah.

    I'm SO tired of this! I've been floating between 194 - 187 since April!!!! I'm not giving up. That scale will change for me someday soon. I know the inches are still moving down more. I'm noticing less & less of me in the mirror & in my clothes again!
