@iLive2Walk Have fun viewing the eclipse. I lice in Indiana, within 45 min of the totality. Waiting to see what the weather will be before I decide where to go.
Day 5 - food choices good, 11,000 steps (which I got to split into two walks since it didn't rain all day. Sleep was ok, not great.
Off to friends house tobelwatch the Purdue Final Four basketball game tonight. Lafayette is astir with excitement as this is the first final four in 80 years! Am taking food that will allow me to continue to make good choices.4 -

April 1: 152.8 π£ π π₯ π«π¦π I love the beginning of a new month. Feels like a fresh new start; a clean slate. I have noticed a pattern in my weight loss. I do fantastic the first week of every month, then I kind of get lazy and for two weeks and the weight loss slows. Then I see the end of the month coming; and Yikes - only one week to finish my goals. I usually finish out the month strong. This month I'm hoping to skip that laziness in the middle of the month. Keep me to it!
April 2: 152.4 ππ£ π πͺ π¦ππ§ I added a new goal to my monthly, I will post whether I was under my daily sodium goal. It has huge affect on my daily weight flucuations, so if I am accountable for it, maybe I won't abuse it so much. Had a good night with Mom at bingo, she won (always a good thing), and I won twice last night. Had a brownie - put me over my calorie limit.

April 3: 151.6 π£ π π₯ π§ββοΈπ«π¦ π§ Silly me, I looked back at my entries - they should have been 152.x not 154.x. I guess I was stuck in that 154 range for so long last month it just got stuck in my brain. I fixed them. Dentist appointment this morning - not my favorite.
April 4: 151.6 151.6 π£ π πͺ π¦ππ§ Busy day ahead today. We have to bring the car in for it's oil change. Then off to Sams Club for shopping. Then the grocery store to pick up all that we need for our Easter celebration this weekend. It's going to be rainy (and snow) day today, so inside walks and a HIIT workout are on the schedule. Then tonight going to a fundraiser for the Women's club/Firehouse. Hoping I won't binge too much.
April 5: 152.2 π£ π π«π¦ It's what I expected, had a little too much fun last night and the salt gets me everytime. I estimated and logged what I think I had - and MFP says I am under my calorie goal, but I'm not counting it as completed. I did manage to meet my exercise goals yesterday. Today's goal - get my outside walk (it's blue sky today), then some strength training, and a little treadmill tonight. I made a vow that I wouldn't watch any of "my" shows unless I was on the treadmill. I'm binge watching Jane the Virgin, and I have an episode of Ghosts that are calling my name.
April 6: 153 π£ π πͺ π§ββοΈ π¦π I had a little set back yesterday - I think the thought of Easter preparations, and the small trip for two days led me to self sabatoge. Over on my calories, and sodium - not a good combination. I did track it though.

04/05-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)-This is my no-weigh Friday. I rarely weigh on Fridays due to a special and different schedule. I made tacos last night for son, visiting foodie daughter and grandson. I know how sodium filled that is so I plan on drinking plenty of water and flushing it out today. Today I plan on making Spaghetti. Everyone else will get regular pasta, I will use βspecialβ magic noodles to minimize the calories and carbs. The challenge will be staying away from the cheese filled garlic twist bread.
04/06-181.6-(Trend Weight 181.3)- I started having some serious problems last night with a few of my end toes swelling up and becoming extremely painful. First they bunched up and then they became similar to inflamed. I am having a hard time walking. I know I didnβt step on anything but as a diabetic and former smoker I am concerned. I am having a hard time walking. There is no hospital in my county at all, but there is a hospital about an hour away and also a walk-in emergency clinic. I have no idea which one to go to or if that walk-in clinic has machines or equipment to check me. It definitely feels like Iβm not getting blood flow to the toes and part of the foot. If anyone has medical knowledge and/or opinion on which one I should go to I would appreciate an opinion. In the meantime, my weight is up a bit from my last weigh-in two days ago. I am not proud right now. It is still down a little from challenge starting weight, but I know how much better I could have done if I had applied myself more. Iβm hoping to make some pretty big numbers go away in the next challenge. Oh, the best laid plans of mice and men! Will I fail to plan or plan to fail, as they say?

Lots of options close by, but I'll have to fight my anxiety to walk past a few homes to get there. Maybe I'll be so happy the weather is finally nice I just wont care! π
4/06: 114.4 I slept in and weighed very late today since I was up a few times during the night so I don't expect this number to stick, but I'm happy to see it nonetheless!
@deepwoodslady : I hope you feel better soon and get checked out if you're worried. I've lived in a lot of very remote areas and relate to the struggle when the nearest clinic is so far away. Some walk-ins I've been to let you book a time online so you don't have to wait long and the one time I went and they didn't have the capacity to treat me they offered to either organize an ambulance transport or let me drive myself to the hospital. I'm sure it varies, but it may be an option if you prefer to start with the walk-in. Sending you lots of positive energy and I hope that everything gets resolved!1 -
